Seems a great product, though no support or response after numerous chasing.
Been threatened and racially abused through this portal and have reached out the them a number of times. I was informed a 30 day response time, no one communicates or follows up.
My local Police have tried and again no response from the About me team.

they "sold" a custom domain and charge $10 per month for it. Are you kidding me or what. that is not legal and deceptive. they don't honor their refund policy. 3) support is non resistant.

In that design, it was easier to create a custom page that captured and conveyed the style and message I wanted to express about myself to others. It was also very easy to browse through the pages of others and to connect with them. I connected to at least ten people this way, people I became friends with.

The creators of this site then decided to bring in someone from Google to redesign it, and they ruined it. Now they force you to choose one of three designs, force you to get a button that is supposed to point others to your work elsewhere, ignoring the fact that some people may not have use for this button. It also limits how much of your education and work history can be entered, and customer service is unresponsive or even non-existent. You can also no longer see the profile pages of others, or see who has seen or liked your profile. It feels like you're creating a limited perspective of yourself, then tossing it into the abyss. It's really quite pathetic.

I think they need to go back to the original design. That older design was exceptional.

No help from customer service. Everything disappeared and they said "Oh sorry, we don't back-up content. That's been happening to people." Then I had a maleware problem with the browser I used and it redirected my domain to about.me until I found a maleware service to get rid of it.

Mar 2016: made a purchase at Namecheap with a year of premium membership at about.me
May 2016: finally, support activated my premium membership (due to an unknown issue it was not automatically activated at my date of purchase)
Jan 2017: I don't check my page very often, but when I checked, the premium membership is, gone??? Even if it starts in March it's still two months left.

I don't think this is merely coincidence or some technical difficulty, This is totally scam.

I had a page there and used their email signature, The photo came out half a photo and I contacted customer service because I couldn't remove it. I cancelled my page there because they told me the problem has been fixed and it hadn't. Now there is a broken link that I can't even remove with Google settings, I have to erase everytime I send an email, stay away.

Sends out lots of emails telling you about supposedly brilliant features when in reality all they want is you to just go on their website again. All I wanted was a quick page for my business and i keep getting e-mails with content i couldn't care less about.

As with all other social network type websites children should stay clear as really all about.me is is a modern myspace type thing.
