Signed on to Acorn TV through Google Pay for a 1-year subscription which was discounted if you purchased a year. Downloaded the App to my 1-year old Sony Bravia TV. No issues for 42 days then the App stopped working. Went online and completed all recommended fixes but nothing worked. Sent email to Acorn Help but no response. Called Acorn who advised they have had issues on some TV's with the App failing – referred me to Google Pay for refund of subscription. Google Pay advised they had already sent the fee to the App Developer – Acorn and they couldn't do anything. Back to Acorn who explained they were working on a fix but they "couldn't" refund the remaining subscription. Now waiting on calls from Management in both companies – not happy with their customer service at all – very poor!
