A absolute disgrace
Three years ago Actavo replaced our oil fired boiler under a Government grant scheme. The installation was messy and they failed to actually commission the boiler invalidating the boiler warranty. The boiler never operated properly with Acitvo blaming Warmflow, the boiler manufacturer, and Warmflow blaming the installation. Unable to get either to shift position we struggled on. The boiler now has completely failed, with the heat exchanger near totally rusted through and un repairable. Its going to cost about 拢3000 to replace. A local engineer has confirmed the installation was poor and likely to have caused the problem. In my opinion Actavo should be investigated and should certainly not be awarded any Government work or any other work for that mater.

If you are considering having Sky installed in Ireland, Actavo are unfortunately the company that will be doing the install on behalf of Sky. After our experience today with the Actavo engineer, we have had to lodge a formal complaint with Sky about this installation crowd. Shockingly poor service from Actavo, I will be back to update this review when my complaint is dealt with and will provide the full details then. I wish there was a minus star or zero star option here as in my experience of Actavo, they don't even deserve one star!! Don't even bother ringing Actavo to complain, take your complaint directly to Sky Ireland.

Been waiting over a year to have smart meters. Two cancelled appointments and now told to wait two months to even get an appointment. Got a feeling its going to take years. Useless company.

Waited 8hours for the engineer to arrive. When he didn鈥檛 arrive I phone up for the 3rd time and was told the engineer decided not to attend the property as there wasn鈥檛 a phone number against the job!!!!! Absolute shocking way of working. The engineer has the full address and postcode why would he not come to the address!!!! Been 5 weeks waiting on this meter with no heating with young children in the house and because the engineer decided he couldn鈥檛 be bothered doing it I have to go with out heating again.!!!!!!!!

I booked a smart meter installation with Actavo on 12 February 2019. technicians arrived, electric meter changed but gas hasn't. I cleared the space around gas meter and booked a second appointment on 20th March, appointment confirmed by email but noone has arrived. three months have passed and I have no idea how long it'll take for a simple smart meter change.

This company does work for Scottish Power. Two awful firms in bed together, who play the blame game on each other with you stuck in the middle. Neither willing to admit who got it wrong. In the last week or so Actavo have tried to cancel their engineer visit, then sent someone who was not qualified to do the job. Not a good idea when you are dealing with electricity. They have cut us off, been rude, been aggressive, refused to provide their details when we wished to complain and generally been as unhelpful as possible. If you are chosing a supplier that uses this firm, AVOID. To put this into context, think Open Reach – but worse.

Don't bother with these I ordered scaffolding planks and paid extra for three to five days delivery. They sent email saying they will be delivered in six days. Weekend wasted. Contacted customer services … no response. Will not make the mistake of using them again.

It's a shame we can't actually leave Actavo Zero stars. They are a complete disgrace of a company. Our new build property has a faulty electricity meter fitted that burnt out only 21 days after moving in and on top of Christmas. I am now 8 months pregnant and apparently they will not be handling our complaint going forward. Need I say that our insulation was exposed and our entire house could have been destroyed… Along with our semi-detached neighbour.

Highly recommend avoiding any company that uses Actavo to fit any equipment. They will not express empathy to a situation nor will they handle a complaint honestly or professionally.

They have declined our request of compensation because our house builder gave us a goodwill gesture (for how they handled it. Not how the meter was fitted unacceptably!!!)

My opinion/experience
This is the dis-organised mess of a company that do installation and maintenance for Sky, I suggest they are to be avoided.

MY EXPERIENCE
4 to 6 weeks to get a dish fixed… what a joke. Not a fit for purpose partner for Sky
