I have been with action driect for nearly 2 years, no communication, no answering of phones or emails. Its just one big scam, if you go elsewhere to get some action they charge you for work done????? No damned work has been done. They should be prosecuted for fraud.How the hell are they legally getting away with robbing people????

My claim has been going on for 3 years and 6 months. I have always been the one to chase them for any results. They are always polite. I must have spoken with every person that works there. I would phone monthly, sometimes weekly.
It has taken so long and I was always kept being told that this isn't happening because —. Some of them I have been told have no PPI on them.
Not heard or contacted them for about a year because of a health problem. Since I haven't been able to speak to anyone. Just gets through to Tina's answer phone ! Have left three messages and an e.mail. Crossing fingers that something will happen soon.

I have an ongoing ppi claim it has been going for 2 years not heard anything in 5 months and they do not answer the phone i have left messsges for them to return my call but nothing as yet CRAP service

I. Have been with Action Direct for nearly 18 months, staff attitude stinks, no answers no communication whatsoever, attitude is why are you annoying me with uour questions? Then the fobbing off begins. In my honrst opinion this company are useless

We have been with Action Direct for 12 months now and their cooperation to phone calls/letters and emails is non existent. I have wasted time on phone calls and mail over the last 12 months and I find the staff are mainly incompetent, phone calls I hasten to add are from Cyprus. Yes we have had a couple claims upheld but they will not update us on the outstanding ones. To date, we should have had responses to several more of our outstanding claims but no one will answer us or even respond to my emails. Very disappointed in this company and would most definitely not recommend them. They certainly DO NOT earn their exorbitant fee! What a con, you have to accept their T&C's before you can post this!!!!! I will accept UNDER DURESS.

I have 2 claims in with action direct since jan 2017. One got settled in june last year and one is ongoing. Action direct sent me an invoice last year stating that the bank had settled. The bank havent paid me a penny. Ive had a call today threatening my wife with court action when i still havent been paid. Whrn i called back the first person put me through to david thomas in collections. He was rude, patronising and at one point said "im 30 seconds away from putting the phone down"
This is the same attitude throughout the company and i will be reporting them to the FCA. I even asked for an apology for upsetting my wife and david thomas said id have to write in to get one. Avoid at all costs.

Action Direct have been acting on our behalf for the past year and 4 months. We have had no updates from them at all. We have had to contact them, costing us a money. We kept getting fobbed off and told they were just waiting for confirmation from the bank. I got fed up and rang the bank myself. I spoke to several people whom all checked the system and advised there was no ppi complaint. Action Direct have done nothing, and lied to us. We have wasted all this time. Will be claiming ourselves. Avoid this company. Dishonest, lazy and will expect 25% plus vat. Use the money saving expert site and the guidance/templates to claim yourself or go directly to the bank.

I submitted my Claim on 19/06/17. Since then I have spoken to them twice and both occasions I was told that they haven't been able to get a response from the lender concerned. When I called for the 3rd time they said that they may need a new latter of authority! If that's the case why didn't hey contact me without waiting till I contact them. Very poor follow up system.
When I asked whether I should go to a another party I was told that I should pay them them a penalty to so!

I have no hesitation in recommending action direct; They have kept me informed on progress of my claim and have achieved a fantastic result. Thankyou so much I would not of been able to do this on my own.

Had a very positive experience with Action Direct. Once initial form filled in nothing else for me to do, they do all the hard work.
Very polite and eloquent staff over phone, very easy to understand. Would recommend to everyone.

Action Direct processed our PPI complaints well enough and some were upheld. They then chased for their commission before we had received the money including ringing at 8am routinely. AD issued confusing and incorrect invoices and when I try to contact them the phones are constantly engaged. Considering how many thousands I have paid them it seems a small company without sufficient resources
Staff are friendly and helpful though.

Still dealing with this company. Must hsve signed the same form ten times. The PPI have probably paid out and these are holding on for the intrest on the payment. Been going on for years! Will contact thd FSA and my lenders to see how Action Direct hsve acted on my behalf and then see if their us a case for miss selling from them!

Absolute harrassment!!! They will call you 10 / 11 times a day with no voicemail left!! When you block their number they will call you from another number and not give up!!! When you call them to tell them that you are no longer interested and that their staff have been harrassing you with calls they cheeky and aggressive with you. Avoid at all costs!

They are obviously getting desperate with the window for PPI claims closing!!

Random phone call from this organisation. Asked where they got my number from very unhelpful & rude staff member then refused to remove my phone number & then informed me she would leave my number on the system so I would get 'further calls' from them. Threatening behaviour indeed (very close to reporting this to the Police currently). The only thing they have seemed to action is my Ire (I give as good as I get). I have asked not to be called again. If they call again straight to the police & OFCOM I go as this would be an act of harrashment as defined by the Harrashment Act 1997:

Take action under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997

Harassment is both a criminal offence and a civil action under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

This means that someone can be prosecuted in the criminal courts if they harass you. It also means you can take action against the person in the civil courts.

When is something harassment under the Act?

Generally speaking harassment is behaviour which causes you distress or alarm.

The Act also says you must have experienced at least two incidents by the same person or group of people for it to be harassment.

It's the courts that decide if something is harassment under the Act. The courts will look at whether most people or a reasonable person would think the behaviour amounts to harassment*

*Given your member of staff has informed me she will keep my number on your system so I get more calls & the calls are recorded I wonder if she's willing to accept a criminal record?
