I would give ZERO if I could and I rarely leave reviews but I wish I had checked this company out before ordering. Website looked real but suspicious when there are ZERO contact details – the 'live chat' they promise – doesnt exist – the emails – never get answered – and paying by paypal doesnt really help – the phone number on paypal for this company doesnt exist either….. get the idea?

Items do not arrive next day – or at all. They failed to respond to emails – The number on my order went to JD Sports who sounded unsurprised to get my complaint and are connected to this company but did nothing except tell me to call them – I said I had tried but this was the number they gave out!

Eventually I raised a dispute via Paypal – and SURPRISE I got a refund within about 1 hour…. funny how they responded to that but not my emails sent to every address they provided hey?

No apology – no response – just the paypal dispute resolved – I initially planned to pay by credit card – their site failed – paypal was only option and now I see why they must keep good records with paypal and resolve disputes immediately.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME – Major hassle and wish I had never used them – as for JD sports – they are all connected and I will never use them again either!

Avoid at all costs. Zero stars.
This is the second review I have written about the same two orders – Trust Pilot, why can't we give zero stars? – but feel impelled to write again. What other reviews say is all true: Activinstinct just cancel your orders without informing you and keep the money. They say, after multiple emails, they are out of stock but wouldn't dream of telling you. This happened twice to me. Trying to get a refund is just as bad, More emails and they promised refunds for both orders. One arrived and I was assured the other would be in my bank in 3-5 days. I went on holiday. 3 weeks later, no refund.
More emails, more apologetic replies. I wait. Don't touch them. They are part of Mike Ashley's JD Sports after all. Pity as Millet Sports were excellent and I used them for many years.

I have placed 2 orders, both next day delivery, none of them turned up.

Then I get an email cancelling both orders.

Can't get hold of anyone, can't get a product, can't get a refund.

Very Very Strange! I ordered hiking shoes which were at a very good price, immediately received email confirming my order. However, later on I received another one informing me that my order was canceled – no explanation why. On the next day I received text message saying they are processing my order and will let me know when shipped. I waited several days but nothing happened. As the price was very good I went online again and ordered the same shoes again (still available on the website). I received again the confirmation email and later on the cancellation one. It is frustrating as this might ruin your holiday. You end up going to the local mountain warehouse for emergency shoes. I am not giving one star only because the refund is fast

I was worried to order from activinstinct because of the numerous negative reviews. I got ten cans of wilson tennis balls at an unbeatable price. They arrived in two days. So very happy of giving my positive review.

Having read other reviews about this company, I felt I had to write a review, having found a pair of walking shoes I wanted at a reasonable price on Activinstinct, I ordered, later to receive an email approx 4 hours later to say they have canx order (no reason given), following day the item was online a gain, again ordered and again 4 hours later same happened. They take payment but have no stock, the do return via paypal but this can take 3-5 days!!! Do not deal with company as if you have an issue you cannot even speak to anyone, you are at the mercy of email and twitter!!! When they did answer I was given 10% off my next purchase for my trouble despite their website currently offering 15%.

When I first ordered from ActivInstinct I hadn鈥檛 read some of the reviews on here. Then I panicked a bit. However I鈥檓 into my 3rd order now and all is absolutely fine and I have confidence now in placing orders with them. I even received a quick refund on an item ordered which was my fault as ordered an XL instead of a L.

Anyway, if you have any problems my advice is once you have emailed them, latch on to the person that responds. And if you have to return anything, send that person a copy of your returns receipt asking them to chase things up for you. I even had to chase Marks and Spencer for a refund recently which took them weeks. You would have thought a firm like that would have done it without me having to chase. Reality is you have to follow these things up.

So as things stand, I will be using ActivInstinct for my sports goods as their prices are very good and products are genuine.

Placed an order on the 9/7/19 for some Merrell Sandals at an awesome price . Paid for next day delivery (within the time frame) via Hermes as they were a gift for my partners birthday on the 11th.
Received a confirmation of order email and overnight a dispatch notice via email from activinstinct. All good. As the day went on there was no message from Hermes stating when they would attempt delivery, I have had several packages delivered by them and this is normal practice. There was no tracking for them on any communication.
At 15:30 I received a text from Activnews saying they would notify me of dispatch of my order!!
Difficult to contact, but sent an email explaining situation. Whilst waiting for reply starting looking at reviews….
I began to believe I maybe victim of a 'scam' sucked in by an amazing deal. They had already taken payment suggesting Sandals had been dispatched.
Got a reply within the hour assuring me that the item had been dispatched. And a tracking link for Hermes.
This link showed 'awaiting parcel ' and did so the morning of the 11th where I was ready to cancel order after checking activinstinct terms and conditions.
But I had to go out so thought I'd give it the rest of the day.
Glad that I did. Received a text from Hermes during the morning with there time slot for delivery. Fortunately I have great neighbours who are happy to accept deliveries.
I at this point I expected some problem with the order, but they were what I ordered.
Although the delivery was not 'next day' they made it in time for my partners birthday and he was over the moon.
So apart from some error on their part with regards to delivery and no real apology or explanation or refund (only 拢2 but principle right?) I was impressed by bargain price. But customer service should be easier to access.

Ordered Adidas ZNE Top for a to good to be true price and an extra 15% discount.
Got an email in a couple of days saying the item was no longer available and I would get a refund in 5 working days. So they hold your money for a week and offer nothing.
Terrible. Poor excuse and a waste of time. Denied another retailer a sale.
This is for Activinstinct.com

To their credit – item was delivered quickly. Only issue is that I'd made an error and ordered the wrong size. Normally not a problem but because I can only contact them via email or Twitter DM, nothing gets sorted quickly. I immediately tried to cancel the order (by both available options) but had to wait 12 hours for a response, by which time the item had been picked, packed and dispatched. I now had to wait for the item to arrive, so that I could return it. Inconvenient. As soon as it arrived, it was returned using their returns process (MyHermes-handled 'ReBOUND' service at a cost of 拢2.50 and requires a printer).

Now this is the nub of the problem with this kind of Customer Services: A issue with the return. My item is stuck with the courier at their 'national hub' and has been there for over a week. I log an enquiry with the retailer and they direct me to the courier… I check the tracking page and the courier supplies no contact details or a means of addressing my issue. They even state that if I have an issue with retailer returns that I should contact the retailer…

I'm speechless – what a shower.

Very disappointing, they offer prices that they will not commit and then cancel your order for no reason, I read some bad review and decided to try anyway but was disappointed. Never again, you should not be in business

Ordered a pair of Salomon waterproof hiking shoes for my wife. Paid for them and they arrived in good time.
Unfortunately the shoes are not waterproof!
I e-mailed the company to ask why they are advertising shoes as waterproof when they are not but have not had a reply! Checked the Salomon website and confirmed they鈥檙e not waterproof so the message is that you need to check what this company are selling before you buy! They provide misinformation to sell!

I ordered a pair of Salomons (hiking boots) on Thursday 16/5/2019 (with total of 53% discount), they cancelled my order without explanation the next day. After questioning they said no stock yet the same shoe and size and price was still available on Sunday 19/5/2019 so I ordered again, on Monday 20/5/2019 my order again cancelled, after this time they finally put the product OOS on the website.

All three of their apologies (this includes one from "actual" person called Jacqueline) felt copy pasted and in the response to my enquiry she also mentioned they update their stock every few minutes…only took them 5 days to update stock on this very well priced product.

21/5/2019 item back on website in stock, same price. ordered again. 22/5/2019 morning order cancelled, product completely off the site. 22/5/2019 lunch, item back on website with same price.

Please sort your stock out or honour orders placed. At the moment the item only looks like it's there phishing for new customers and their details.

I placed an order online with ActivInstinct, and it was to be collected in one of their parent company's (JD Sports) London stores. First time I went to collect the item arrived incomplete (a 2-part court dress+shorts, only shorts arrived in the package), so I asked for it to be sent back for a refund – which the store colleague kindly did.

The following week after placing a replacement order, as I was busy and a friend was going to be shopping around there anyway, she went to check (with my ID and confirmation e-mails at hand) whether she could collect the package for me – it was brought out to her at the store but then not actually given to her. Annoying, but I suppose understandable. Friend advised the store colleague that the package will be collected next day.

The day after, my partner (his name was on the parcel but I paid for the order) went to collect it and it was nowhere to be found!? After a few people looked around the store and couldn't find the parcel, they asked him to return later that afternoon. Still no package anywhere then! The store advised me (on the phone) they would be reporting it missing, yet the day after this whole ordeal customer care told me the store had sent it back instead? No explanation anywhere as to why that was done – and a lot of time wasted!

By this time I'd placed 2 orders, so as this one had been sent back by the store I had to reorder AGAIN. This time to be sent with Next Day Delivery. When the item finally arrived TWO days later, it again came incomplete with only the shorts in the package and no dress anywhere. Probably the same one sent out again from the warehouse that I had originally received and returned.

So – after 3 orders I am yet to even see the item I ordered more than 2 weeks ago. ABSOLUTE MESS AND A WASTE OF TIME. Never have I received such appalling service and wasted so much time on something that should be so simple – hence my first ever review on Trustpilot.

As an additional bonus – you can't actually call ActivInstinct, so the only way to reach them is via e-mail or Twitter. And based on my experience the Twitter team isn't exactly speedy, or helpful. I had some luck calling the JD Sports customer care team and one person there had been very helpful with getting a refund for the missing package. However, when I called back today after I received my incomplete order, I wasn't as lucky – a lady on the other end of the phone refused to help and was incredibly rude indeed.

When you place an order and give your email address, you'll be spammed by them – I started getting promotional emails a couple of days after placing my order, even though I explicitly specified that I didn't want to receive them. Illegal, so I hope the rest of the operation is a bit better. I'm waiting on my delivery; I'll update this review if I need to after it arrives.

Made my first order with this company last week, and read the reviews here before I did so, so I was somewhat concerned, to say the least. But everything went smoothly, order turned up as expected in the stated time, and the price of the walking boots was the cheapest on the internet that I could find. Will use again happily.

recent order – placed on Dec 4th for 'standard' delivery to be collected at local JD sports. no news for 9 days then finally after me chasing the item twice i get an email to advise that the order has been delivered to the store and it's ready for collection. we searched for it wit th store manager for 45 min! she finally called to find out what is going on – turns it it was only just dispatched nd wont be in the store for another 3 days. Dec 17th no delivered / no updates. and just an email to say if it doesn't arrive they will refund me – what kind of a reply is that? Seriously avoid – unless you don't care if you will receive your purchase. What a joke.

I sent an email to cancel my order within 5 minutes because I put address. Nobody cared, sent products to store & took money from my account. Since I cancelled my order & supposed to get refund.

I have been sending email for refund. Customer service team says store didn鈥檛 return products back in customer service so they cannot process my refund.

It鈥檚 been more than 10 days, I haven鈥檛 got refund yet.

I have never seen taking such a long time to refund.

I placed an order for a daypack – two weeks before a big hiking holiday. Plenty of time for it to be delivered 'click & collect' you would think… but no. I had to email twice asking for status updates – and eventually asked for a refund when the order didn't arrive in time. Plus side – their email customer service was friendly and reasonably fast to respond. But having to check with them so frequently shouldn't have been required at all – they need to improve their shipping processes. Avoid.

I returned my order with a return label I paid for and provided by MilletSports.co.uk and now called activinstinct.co.uk back in Jan 2018. I have contacted them ever since to chase for a refund, and I have so far got nowhere and it is May 2018 now. It is quite a story and full of twists!

Although the parcel tracking shows it was successfully delivered and actually it also shows on their website it was received, they claimed that they didn't receive it.

They requested lots of order details from me, even though the details can all be found on their system. We had over 10 email exchanges, and it just feels that they tried to wear me off so that I would give up in the end.

Eventually in April, they admitted that they lost the returned parcel. So surely a full refund to offer – NO! They could ONLY offer me a gift card which I can't even use on their website.

I accepted the offer. So surely it is over now – NO! After a month past and another 10 emails sent, I haven't received my gift card. Initially I was told that it was sent to me, so I needed to wait. But they ACCIDENTALLY sent one email to me instead of their own team, in which it clearly showed that they hadn't sent one to me!

Since then, they ignore all my emails and they don't have a phone number for customers to call. I will keep trying, but meanwhile I strongly advise anybody to stay away from them. Be warned – it is daylight robbery!

Most importantly, because their reputation is so bad, they have changed their name and webisite to activinstinct.co.uk. So don't be fooled.
