This moving company gave an initial estimate of $3700.00. Price was accepted and movers arrived to rural area home with a single axle box truck. During the process, the moving company charged another 1700.00 for additional boxes. this is not all: while waiting on belongings, company informed us that if they could not get a semi-truck into the receiving address property, they would charge another 1,700.00 for "shuttle fee", which means they would have had to move belongings in 1st truck, moved them to semi-truck, and then back to original sized truck. This is a sham. As a Vietnam vet and senior citizen, this is fraud, failure to disclose, and simply stated, business fraud. We will be retaining a lawyer to challenge these business practices. Failure to pay whatever they charge results in the loss of property to the moving company to auction assets. This entire process is criminal.
