I don鈥檛 understand all these bad reviews. I never had a problem with them. I shop AKIRA all the time and always gets my items and no problems. They are good quality. I love that store. I wish they would carry more variety of plus size. I only have a small issue with an item I bought on sale buttons were loose and 2 broke off. But It was an easy fixed.

Overpriced. I got 2 pair of shoes at much higher price only because they were sold out elsewhere and one of them had the leather peeling but I noticed it after 2 weeks after I received them when I tried to wear them out. I contacted them to see if they'd offer an exchange or at least 10% discount on them since I saw they were sold out on their site already so I wouldnt be able to replace them. Most retail companies when they send a defective item they offer exchange or at least 10% off or something. They did not really care at this place. Wish I had bought these shoes from another site before they went out of stock.

THEY WERE VERY RUDE MOST ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER. I WAS QUITE SHOCKED. VISITED THE KENWOOD MALL LOCATION IN CINCINNATI, OH ON SATURDAY 08/29/2020. THAT WAS LITERALLY MY FIRST TIME VISITING AND ITS MOST DEFINITELY MY LAST!!

I purchased what was suppose to be a Vegan Leather jacket called "Ride or Die Vegan Leather Jacket" It arrived quickly however this is the most cheapest looking LEATHER jacket. Honestly I don't think it's even leather. The jacket has this shine & looks plastic, it also looks like a beginner seamstress put this jacket together. Literally there's thread hanging from everywhere. What you see in the pic posted for advertisement is NOT what you get. The collar looks matted too. I paid a little over $100 for a jacket that should have been $20 the most smh I'm sending this back for a complete refund. This jacket also runs really small. Here's the funny part of shopping at Akira they monitor ALL reviews sooo any negative reviews will NOT be posted. Which makes sense now on why almost all of their items have little to NO REVIEWS.

Do not shop at Akira clothing store. I ordered an online purchase $150 dollars. First problem was that they are selling merchandise that is not available. They refunded me for that item but now my whole order was 鈥渄elivered鈥?and left at my 鈥渇ront door鈥?meaning the front entrance of my building. The package was apparently left outside, anybody could take it. That鈥檚 exactly what happened! I never received my merchandise. I called Customer Service multiple times, no luck. After asking for a manger a couple of times I was asked to e-mail so they can forward my e-mail to their manager. Still no answer. I asked for a corporate number and was told that they do not have a corporate office! What kind of a company doesn鈥檛 have a corporate office? Akira doesn鈥檛 want to refund me or send me new merchandise because to them, merchandise was delivered. I am being told that since they have a picture from delivery guy they are not responsible for the package and if it was misplaced or stolen. Delivery company is telling me they can鈥檛 do anything because Akira should be resolving the problem. I have reported them to the BBB and also filed a police report. I can鈥檛 believe them. Do not shop Akira online! It鈥檚 not safe. Save your money!

Girl, don鈥檛 do it…it鈥檚 poorly made pieces from China. I recently purchased a few pairs of shoes and was disappointed how cheap it looked when I got it. According to the current store policy, it stated that I could return in store for a store credit. Great! I went in store to return it; however, because of the pandemic, they said that they are only doing mail in returns for $7.95 shipping (which would be a big chunk of the total return). I totally understand the need for policy changes due to Covid, but you HAVE TO LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW THE POLICY. Anyways, now I鈥檓 stuck with an ugly ass pair of shoes. Literally garbage…

I was very skeptical to order from this website because of the bad reviews but I went ahead and ordered a dress that I fell in love with. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast my order was shipped. I received a confirmation email, an email to notify me when it was shipped and when it was delivered. I received my dress in less than a week!! SO Happy with my purchase!!

My daughter bought 1 jewelry item while the buy one get 50% off was going on. I went back with her within 24 hours to buy the other item (so I wasn't asking for money back-I was going to spend more money in the store). And the lady said sorry she should have done that yesterday! I quietly told my two daughters to put the $300.00 worth of clothing back because I do not do business in stores like that!
Their receipt says one thing about returns and exchanges THEN the workers stamp a red "final sale" on the receipt!! Yikes! Who is watching over this business?
My girls were mad I said I wouldn't buy clothing from their. I told them, sorry place like that will be shut down in about 2 years!

Placed an order from Australia. Was skeptical about this company after reading all the very bad reviews online. All the negative reviews turned out to be correct. Spent a lot of money on my order, it never arrived and Akira is ignoring all my messages. Have contacted PayPal & lodged a claim to get my money back. Waste of time and money! AVOID!

I ordered some items about 2 weeks ago and made sure to update my address in the
Akira system. The last time I ordered from Akira clothing my address kept defaulting back to my old one and a CSR helped me but they had to charge my card twice.

This time I double checked it before placing my order and my items still went to my old address. To avoid this happening again, I went in and made sure it was correct. When I placed the order, it gave the correct address. When the tracking appeared today and said it was being delivered, I was upset.

Then I called in and talked to Vanessa for ten minutes who lied and said my address had been updated, however when I mentioned what the tracking online said where she changed her story. Even now my account is showing two addresses and it should not be.

Then she said they could not help me and I had to contact the post office because it showed delivered. I immediately asked for a manager and she never produced one, and she said sorry but you have to contact usps. Her voice became more and more faint and
then she hung up on me.
She took no accountability for what happened, especially when I said there was a glitch with the account address section on Akiras clothing website.

I have nothing to show for my hard earned money and I do not have access to my old address box. I have reached out to them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Yes, I called and the voicemail came on and no one picked up. The box said it was full of messages and I could not leave a message

When I asked for a manager which was an option, Vanessa promptly hung up on me. If you allow your CSRs to mistreat people and be unprofessional then you will lose customers.

I have attempted to contact them and have not received a response. They need to have it resolved and have my items redelivered. The fact that my money is gone, I do not have my items and Vanessa maliciously hanging up on me and lying about my package is unacceptable.

Order a pair of shoes online and my order was delivered today from someone in looks to be a employee personal car and the guys throw my merchandise over the gate as if it was trash couldn't believe it watching him on my camera. My son went out and approached him with disappointment and he never apologized and drive off. I'll never order anything else from you guys very unprofessional and disappointing on how you guys are allowing employees and their personal cars deliver and treat merchandise that customers purchased be handled with no care for the customers experience.

Terrible customer service. SHADY payment processor! Because they wanted to save money. They ended up losing my business. Terrible ecommerce checkout. When i tried to call customer service, they were not helpful. And they refused to help with the problem. Basically they dont want to help me with giving them payment. Their payment server is broken, they cant take a payment over the phone, they have a long list of things they can't do, including cannot speak to a manager to see how they can take my money! Not honoring the promotion they were running. Im seriously worried about how my items will be shipped and processed if i do give them my order. If they can't even get the ecommerce website right, cant figure out how to take my money, I seriously question their abilities.

so, usually i see the good in bad things but i just can't ignore the fact that i am pissed. so first of all, the shipping.. FANTASTIC recieved on the due date as printed.. here's the gag tho. as soon as i slipped my leg in the pants (that fit perfectly) the button flew off and the middle of the pants ripped. i also ordered a swim suit that looks NOTHING like online. my order was $90 and i will not be wearing a thing from here. so pissed. this was all for a trip.

Do NOT shop here. These people don鈥檛 return calls or emails even when you鈥檙e telling them you didn鈥檛 get your stuff. It鈥檚 been 2 weeks and I haven鈥檛 gotten a response at all. Save your money

I bought 4 items the sandals were amazing the jeans fit great and the shorts were amazing fit as well but they sent me the wrong size for the leggings and to try to get through to them was very complicated they don鈥檛 answer emails and when I got through to them on the phone they didn鈥檛 even apologize for the mistake when I was supposed to wear those pants which is why I payed extra for over night shipping and they are going to give me a free return label however they did nothing to make up for their error and didn鈥檛 care at all on the phone. And I was really upset when I went to try on my leggings I was supposed to wear and they were a size xs but I ordered a large and on the outside tag it said xl and on the inside it was sure enough xs. But basically bad customer service. I would like to shop more at Akira in the future but am worried of mistakes like this that cause a huge hassle who wants to go mail the incorrect size.

I believed all the articles about them but at this point I have to start thinking it is a scan.

Customer service is terrible

Horrible service!! they list online items that don't sell!!!
I ordered a flower Adidas jacket and they haven't informed me that that item was out of stock and they sent me a normal white Jacket..
I have asked for an exchange and now they told the the shipping to China is too expensive for a return, so it is better to keep the item.. I have paid 42GBP for that jacket and why do I have to pay so much for a ugly white jacket and keep an item that I will never wear it?

After 25 days I am still dealing with the (Horrible) customer service that for twice already told me that they gonna refund me 8GBP for that item.. as they think that I paid 29 GBP.. This is insane! please don't buy here!! it is all bogus!!
