I ordered a watch but was told that it wasn鈥檛 in stock, I then ordered a different watch to be told the exact same thing, so why advertise items which they clearly don鈥檛 stock. Now I鈥檓 拢500 out of pocket waiting for a refund , I鈥檓 not sure when I鈥檒l get back

ordered online , payment taken on credit card ,only to receive email 2 days later stating order cancelled. Disappointing as watch was a gift.

I wanted to buy a Tag the firm advertised. I paid by Amex on Friday night during lockdown. On Saturday the firm came back and said due to Covid supply issues they couldn鈥檛 get it and refunded my money. It was not an insignificant amount. I appreciated their honesty.

Alderley watches kept me informed of when delivery was expected and guaranteed delivery by using special delivery. I cannot thank them enough for their excellent service.

Great service, friendly & quick to deliver

I purchased a Baume & Mercier Classima for 拢3,450.聽 The watch has never kept time gaining 2 minutes per day and was sent back to Alderley Watches for repair under guarantee.聽聽 After 3 weeks their local horologist finally confirmed that聽something was wrong with the time keeping and the watch was being sent to Baume & Mercier Switzerland for repair.聽 It should have been sent to an authorised repair centre at the start.
After patiently waiting for over 2 months and just receiving vague replies that it would be returned and repaired soon, I chose to contact聽Baume & Mercier London聽directly.聽My suspicions were unfortunately justified.聽 Baume & Mercier advised聽 that the聽watch had not been sent to their Swiss nor London office and they had no record that聽my watch聽was in for repair.聽聽聽 Alderley Watches then admitted in writing the watch was聽actually sent to the United States and not to Baume & Mercier USA but a retailer from whom they purchased the watch.聽聽Despite continually聽requesting a reference repair number/repair details so I could track the whereabouts of the watch to determine if it was in the Baume & Mercier system, Alderley Watches refused to advise such details. 聽They just replied with vague, 聽no substance聽emails. I also checked directly with Baume & Mercier USA who also confirmed that it had NOT been sent for repair to an authorised deal within their USA network either.聽

I eventually got the watch back nearly 3 months later and it still gained 2 minutes per day. I have twice requested a refund which was declined. The watch is not fit for purpose.

Upon return of the watch I then asked again who the watch had been sent to聽in聽order to determine the real facts. Had the watch actually gone in for repair in the first place ??聽 Once again,聽such contact details were refused by Alderley Watches.聽 聽

Richard Castello and Alderley Watches then went totally quiet despite being contacted on a number of occasions via Amazon. 聽

With the benefit of hindsight I learnt that I was dealing with a husband and wife operation who work from home and rarely answer the telephone.聽 A very frustrating experience with a dishonest and untrustworthy retailer.

In my experience, Alderley Watches are jewellers with integrity. Premier-class service AND premier-class products at very competitive prices. Thank you, Richard, for the two superb Raymond Weil watches to celebrate my Golden Wedding Anniversary … and significant birthday.

I was initially hesitant about ordering a Raymond Weil watch online but glad I did I'm thoroughly happy with the watch it was excellent value and I cannot stop admiring it I will definitely order again from Alderley well done made my Xmas even more special!!!

Very prompt delivery kept you up to date with information. Sadly we did not buy the watch not their fault we didn't realise how heavy it was. They made a very prompt refund on receipt of the returned watch.

I believe that Alderley went out of their way to dispatch the watch, so that I got it on time. I am very pleased with the service and product – many thanks to the staff at Alderley, I am a very happy customer and would have no doubt recommended them to anyone.
