This lined up with what my stool test showed…high intolerance to gluten. In fact pretty much all grains including wheat. I suspected this for years and had pretty much eliminated most grains, but was sad to see oats was on my list of highly reactive foods. Also, I used to slather myself with coconut oil and every now and then break out into a rash immediately after applying. Yet because it is supposed to be so healthy for you, I never thought it could be the coconut oil.
Turns out it is a moderate reactivity for me. Many other foods and chemicals that these results confirmed I am highly or moderately reactive to I had often wondered if they were giving me problems or if it was in my head. Now it all just makes so much sense…its not all in my head! These things really were bothering me! So grateful for this test.

Thank you Allergy Test Australia! You have changed my life! I ordered the test, sent in my samples and received my results within 2 weeks. Since eliminating the ingredients on my intolerance list, my gut is pain free for the first time EVER! I had been to so many doctors and have been searching for answers for almost 30 years and am so relieved that your simple test has given me the solution. It wasn鈥檛 the dairy in ice-cream, it was vanilla flavouring… it wasn鈥檛 nuts, it was pepitas… it wasn鈥檛 sulphites, it was a glazing agent… you get the picture. I have recommended your service to my friends and family and highly recommend this test for everyone whether you have obvious symptoms or not. Thanks again!!

Took longer than 45 days for results to arrive.
Results were a joke. Instructions said Green items were to be avoided. In results document it said Green was balanced . Totally confusing and results not to be trusted.
Fortunately I only paid 拢29 . total waste of money.

I have to admit I wasn't crazy that it took a month to get my results, but when I called, they were helpful and explained everything. And I too, thought the results may be bogus, because 1) it took so long, and 2) the list of food intolerance included many items that I ate often for their health benefits like turmeric and avocado. Nevertheless, I followed their program and eliminated the food items on the list, and have included specific food and supplement for the vitamins and minerals that I am deficient in. It's been 3 weeks, and I am so very glad to report that my mood, and overall health has improved remarkably. No aches, afternoon exhaustion, or cravings.

I think a lot of negative reviews regarding results the company seems to be from the expectation that the testing is for allergies, though it is a test for intolerances. The test is NOT for allergies (igE testing, like you would have at the allergist, and this testing IS very useful, but is VERY expensive if you pay out of pocket, and it will NOT detect intolerances), but is meant to detect intolerances. Also, just because a person has an intolerance, it does not mean that they will have a noticeable physical reaction, but inflammation could still be occurring in the body. I went for the testing because I have granuloma annulare, a so-far mysterious skin issue "of unknown etiology." I imagine that inflammation somehow triggers it, and I have noticed that wheat has also been aggravating me more, though I have been reluctant to give it up completely. I previously have had true igE allergy testing and intolerance testing through LEAP MRT, but that was many years ago, and doctors have been looking into autoimmune disorders for some of my strange symptoms. The company did send my results back in the timeframe promised, and a lot of the results did confirm what previous testing showed, plus new info. It also showed me that I am in the red "Highly Reactive" to every type of wheat, whereas my previous LEAP MRT showed it as "moderate," but since my symptoms were getting worse, including digestive pain and coughing every time I ate any wheat, it makes sense that it is more reactive. My 23andme results also identified that I have a celiac variant, though I had been tested for full celiac and do not have it. Unfortunately food and substance intolerance testing is still being developed, so in general, if affordable, and if you are suffering in some way, it may be worth clarifying with more than one type of test. However, if you are worried about a true allergy, you really do need to consult with an allergist, since true allergies can be life threatening. I combine regular Western medical care with holistic and even some Chinese medicine as needed, so it helps to be open to other options, especially when my GI doctor and allergist both told me that "they did not believe in intolerances," but I know for sure I have some noticeable reactions to some things that are not explained through regular igE testing. Luckily, my primary care doctor is open-minded and she suggested an elimination diet and resources to look into symptoms and healing. Also, I had some contact with customer service, and I received a response that was friendly within 24 hours. the only drawback is that there is no contact phone number, so you need to email them.

To Duffy's review here, Buckwheat is kind of confusing by its name. It is not actually wheat at all, but is related to rhubarb and sorrel, and it is often tolerated well by people, even with gluten issues. Like I basically am Highly Reactive to all real wheat, but ok with buckwheat and other grains.

I have struggled for years with weird digestive issues and skin issues.
I already knew I was severely gluten intolerant and possibly dairy and the Allergy test nailed it. Also discovered my moderate allergies and some of the chemicals my body does not like….
I am healed when no doctor or dermatologist was able to pin point all my unique issues before . I highly recommend this .

about 1 week after purchasing this allergy intolerance testing, I received my results… BEFORE I even sent in my hair samples for analysis. This is obviously a scam! Adriaan responded back to me that a jr assistant had made a mistake and mixed up my order with a L. Wagner from Newyork… yes, that's the way he spelled New York!! and that she had forgotten to match names with the order numbers… hmmmm… funny cause my order number AND full name were on the analysis. this is a hoax! they just randomly send different results to people! I bet if I purchased it again and used a different address but same info and hair — or not even hair — they would send me different results! do NOT fall for this scam!

Well it would be a wonderful service if….they ever gave you any results. Heck they could just make something up and send it to you like the DNA testing people. But nope….nothing. Then when I emailed them….no reply. I'm amazed people are so unethical these days.

I was so ready to love this service but it took forever to receive my results. I had to email and live chat several times before I got someone competent enough to send them. When I finally did receive them they were not the easiest to read. They sent me a list of minerals and vitamins with the heading: food items you have a intolerance to. But I think they meant to put vitamins I am deficient in. I'm giving them 2 stars because I finally did receive my results unlike some other people. Honestly after reviewing the results and dealing with their customer service I can say this testing group is totally bogus. I don't believe in it. Don't waste your hard earned dollars or time with Allergytest.co

I paid 鈧?5 more than a month ago for an allergy test with the Intolerance Testing Group and never received a test result. I was sent a form which I returned together with my hair sample. The first address I sent to was to a Spanish department. The letter never arrived, or so they said. I then printed out the form again and sent it along with another hair sample to their UK address. Mysteriously enough, this letter also never arrived. At this point I wrote and asked for my money back, after which there has been nothing but silence. I know I am not the first person to experience this, so stay away from this company.
