This time more cautious in my choice and checked other opinions than Caravan Club and Varta seemed to be well rated by users.
Alpha seemed to be the only supplier who knew much about the Hobby and so placed order with them yesterday and received battery today at noon. XPD delivery advised expected delivery time both by text and email and delivered as promised.
In view of previous experience have put battery on test, monitoring discharge rate at 3.5A. So far has run for several hours with no drop from initial voltage, but early days. Will repeat at 8.5A after this cycle. Varta may be interested in the data as they don't seem to make it available nor answer emails! These two currents are the levels we would normally draw in our motorhome overnight depending on equipment in use
Ask me again in 4 years (warranty period) how we got on!
