In warmer/dry weather they鈥檙e a comfortable glove to use at all speeds and in the wet they do the trick which to be fair to Alpinestars these gloves are sold as a waterproof glove. However, when I used them in colder temperatures they weren鈥檛 up to much at all. It was dry but cold and within a few miles I鈥檇 reached that point that all bikers have felt when you come to realise you鈥檝e picked the wrong gloves to wear and your fingers are becoming painful.
As far as sizing goes I鈥檓 normally a large glove but went medium with these and I鈥檓 glad I did. They鈥檝e stretched as expected over time and the fit is good.
The glove itself is the usual Alpinestars quality, quality material, excellent stitching and nice levels of protection for the hands.
In summary if you want a thicker, waterproof glove these will do the trick but don鈥檛 offer much in the way of warmth which at 拢90 which is what I paid, I鈥檇 expect a bit more warmth from a glove at that cost.
