An order was scheduled for delivery to me on Friday Dec 18th. Nothing arrived except a message (without proof) that the delivery driver attempted to deliver. I called the courier service number and was told that the parcel would be delivered on Saturday Dec 19th. Nothing arrived! I called the courier service (Intelcom) again and was told that the parcel will be delivered on Monday! There isn't any way for me to complain to Amazon about such shabby service.

I'm expecting a package which has been days late. Expecting another package today and saw the linguistics driver sitting in the complex for 90 minutes, not delivering any packages. After all of that, the driver left. He did not deliver a single package to anyone that has been waiting. I called into Amazon and can't even get to a Canadian rep. The delivery service is going straight downhill so why bother being a prime member anymore when the employees won't even do their job.

They often are extremely late and their customer service is so robotic they've lost my items bunch of times and even sent me things I never ordered by accident just use Walmart or best buy they're infinity better in comparison

Bad deliveries. I have had too many "attempted deliveries", when in fact the Amazon delivery driver has made no attempt at all. When you are actually sitting waiting for the package to be delivered, it's pretty obvious that no "attempt" was made. The last one was when it was raining, and an email comes through that a delivery attempt was made, when in fact it hadn't been. I have cancelled a few orders due to the lack of delivery and having an email of delivery attempt

It is happening to me yet again. A legitimate review is being rejected for unknown reasons.
The review reads:
"Poor packaging
This is my husband's Xmas gift. I was surprised to see that a piece of electronics could be so poorly wrapped. It was shoved in a cheap yellow envelope and after it was delivered to our door, it had more rips than I could count."
I was told I did not adhere to the Amazon guidelines but they were short of mentioning which one. I am still scratching my head.
This was the worst packaging I have ever seen. Wouldn't you want to warn other people about it?

Once again, parcel dumped in the common hallway of a very large apartment building. I tried contacting them through chat, again, and again received the nonsense replies from India. "We deeply regret" etc. I don't care how deeply they regret, just get the drivers to knock on the door!
I then tried contacting by phone, and three times in a row got people with such strong Indian accents that I could not understand them. I'm in Canada, I want to speak with a Canadian, not an Indian who promises the moon and does nothing.

I had only one bad order witch i got refunded for, customer service is threw the roof good also really easy to work with, quick as heck delivery… I appreciate your understanding and appreciate how understanding u guys are! Amazon is the best and thank you for your services

It seems the customer is expected to sit in their condo for days waiting for a delivery. In this age of technology surely they can do better than this. Do yourself a favour and buy locally. Companies out there, use shopify not amazon to sell your stuff.

My credit card was compromised after I placed an Amazon order. I don't shop online so I know it happened because of Amazon. Then I was 'guaranteed' a delivery date and 4 days later, still no delivery. Asked for a refund but questionable now because I had to shut down that credit card because of the $1200. 00+ fraudulant purchase that someone tried to make after I did my Amazon purchase. Bad experience all around.

When I first signed up with Amazon, deals I could find where very reasonable. The last 2 years however I find after exchange and shipping costs the products on Amazon are 15 to 30% more. The independent sellers make a good profit pushing goods around on line. Amazons days are numbered now that most retailers sell on-line. Check with your Canadian retailers and Buy Canadian.
PS… I cant write a negative review on Amazon as it would get Deleted!

Although Amazon is more than happy to assist in purchases and usually refunds, it is very frustrating to invest time and money into a seller that is either not located in Canada or selling fake items. My most recent item, hair toner was actually used. That is simply disgusting. I wish Microsoft would create a company better than Amazon.

Amazon is the worst customer service company in the world in my experience. Amazon also does not match prices drop within few days of purchases.
Also, it is so hard to carry Breville Mini Smart Oven for a mile to a post office to return the oven because of damage and scratches. Plus Amazon charges 35 postage deduction. What a rubbish and unfair company Jeff Bezos is, billionaire of no ethics or sensitivities to seniors challenges.
Very hard to get in touch with Customer Service plus they transfer you around to no avail.

In speaking with friends, neighbours, and colleagues, I'm clearly not the only one who suffers the shoddy Delivery nightmares by the large well-known Carriers that Amazon Sub-Contracts their Customer Deliveries to. Damages which are the result of POOR handling by these Carriers are the stuff of legend; such as large items arriving at our doors looking as though they'd been rolled down a hill. Then we have the ubiquitous claims that we were 'Not Home' – when we were. For those of us in Hi-Rises, not even the courtesy of utilizing our Intercoms; allowing us to buzz them into the building. Often, they leave our purchases on Outer Lobby floors; for all to see and / or steal. They claim we 'Refused' our delivery; which, in and of itself, is rather hard to do; when they don't bring it to our door so we could. I feel we 'Valued Customers', or so Amazon euphemistically call us, hold their feet to the fire. Personally, I demand Amazon send my Orders via their own Drivers, or the Post; both of whom are reliable, professional, courteous, and DO NOT put us through the B. S. these large Carriers do. I've stopped purchasing Heavy Goods items from Amazon.ca because they are nearly always sent by the aforementioned twits, and the majority of the cartons NOTICEABLY damaged, Yet, these National Carriers have the audacity to bring these cartons to our door; shredded, dented, and ripped?!. Amazon did not hand these cartons to them in that condition… Clearly these Carriers DO NOT respect Amazon's 'Valued Customers'. Amazon ASSERTS how much they value their Customers but WHY does Amazon tolerate their Customers repeatedly being disappointed and put through this? Why does Amazon absorb the Losses, Returns, and poor Reviews? Why does Amazon not take proactive action and hold the Sub-Contracted Carriers accountable? Perhaps Amazon.ca is not concerned, and this type of disappointment to us, their 'Valued Customers', is just a cost of doing business and we, the Customer, just collateral damage? Is this is a familiar story to you?

I had a problem with a $100 gift card, I'm a prime and more than regular customer of Amazon.ca as I order at least 4/5 items a week… They never seemed to be able to help me, chat support is in India and they don't care the less, trying to finish the conversation and pass to the next… I went to escalation, it's email only and they wrote me only one time to have the proofs; I sent them and never heard back from them… basically meaning I have to sit on my $100 cash money… Disgusting and dishonnest practice…

They took extra money out of our account without our permission. They asked bank for permission to take the extra money and not us. No notice on what they were doing. I called and got the run around and got hang up on second call and how rude. Cancel our order and the first person I talk to said it would be 3 to 5 business days to get our money back and second person said 7 to 10 business days to get our money back. That's ridiculous! This make us not want to order from amazon.

I ordered a pack of 100 N95 masks that was supposed to be delivered by May 20 but it came on June 10, I wouldnt have had a problem if the package was just late, but aside from being 20 days late, it also came with only 10 masks out of the 100. It cost me about 23$. But I'm bothered because it could be only returned by May 30th, which would be impossible since the package arrived on June 10. And I wasn't able to contact amazon by phone, email, or customer service directly. I am very unsatisfied.
