Was told by salesman that coyld make claims on any appliance after initial 30 days. Plus was only month to month and could cancel at any time.
Made claim and was refused. Told by support staff that they expected all equipment to be in excelent condtion day one and they dont expect claims for several months after policy active. Great if one could perdict when an appliance might die, want to buy stock in those predictions. Also spoke with two managers with NO help. Told them I wanted to cancel policy and was told you have to pay administation fee to cancel. NO refunds on policy. Still have not had it canceled after several days. Also when I sent several emails over a week to get assistance was told these were treats to them. They never answer phone, you have to leave message and wait for call back. I have dealt with other home warranties as a A&E Appliance serviceman until I retired and would give AHW a -5 stars if possible.

Amazon has always been very responsive to my request. The tenhnicians sent have always been able to diagnose and fix the problem.

AHW has been nothing but trouble for me. I have pool and Spa, had two claims on them. AHW sent out a service tech (using term very loosely). He was to replace housing on 6 valve filter system. He did replace. Problem was he put the valve in wrong way and it wouldn鈥檛 work. I called AHW, it was a total mess with them, run around not call me back. I called claims several times, supervisor finally called, she gave me her direct Ext #3201, to get back to her, problem was the number she gave me had a recording that she I was on another line, please leave a message, sorry the message machine is unable to take any new messages, thank you click. I called several more times over a couple of weeks. The same messages on the machine time after time. Went back to new claims and girl I finally talked to told me she would send me a claim form for me to be reimbursed. She sent the form, I returned it, never able to get back to her, Never got reimbursed to this date for that claim. I had to call a tech that the manufacture recommended. He was here 10 minutes, put the valve in right, it worked immediately. Another $110.00. AHW never paid to this date, the company that they sent wouldn鈥檛 refund the money back to me that I paid to get the problem fixed right, but I鈥檓 not done yet. If I don鈥檛 get get this settled shortly.

Worst company ever, misrepresentation of what services and who they are. The salesperson told me that they were affiliated with AMAZON.Com and they are NOT. Submitted a claim for A/C issue, was given the run around, then claim approved for reimbursement and when it came time to reimburse me I was not paid, with me having an Authorization Code.

I have sent a formal complaint to your mediations dept and have yet to hear back. I will be pursing the next phase in order to remedy the disaster you sent to my home in the form of an unlicensed and fraudulent HVAC technician! I would not recommend any one do business with a company that takes your money, makes empty promises and leaves the consumer to pick up the pieces! You breeched your own contract so I'm no longer playing by your rules.

My heater stopped working during this last winter and they were able to get someone out there to fix it right away. I was very happy with the service that I received.

I trust them. They send good people for the work. They were efficient and it didn't take long to get my work done, everything has been done in a couple of days. It was really helpful.

It鈥檚 so difficult to talk to anyone and get someone to actually come for repair service!!! I鈥檝e been trying to for 2 months to have a ceiling fan repaired to no avail.

Put in a request on line and the next day my issue got fixed.

They were good. I used it and they came out and replaced the air conditioner. It's a great
service.

I wish there was a negative rating for them. The worst company to be with.Read this and save yourself the trouble and don't waste your money and time with them.
I was with American Home Shield and this guy Eric called me from Amazon Home Warranty and as a any sales man he gave his sales pitch and I fell into the trap. I was trying to do some cost cutting and fell for it, You Don't!! They are a rip off company. They have the worst vendors.
I called for 2 claims one they denied and the customer service lady was so rude on top it.
The second claim was covered for me, but the vendor when I called(technically the vendor should call for appointment once work order is received) I didn't hear back from AHW for 3 days and finally when I called the vendor for appointment he sounded sleepy and didn't care about it. Also claimed he didn't get any work order.
When I called AHW they were like oh we'll look into it and get back to you. 2 days passed and no call back from vendor or AHW.
Finally today I get a call from the vendor and he talks to me as if he's doing a favor by coming over. He wasn't even clear on the work order. I'm afraid he's going to mess things up for me. I'll keep you guys posted on more.

AMAZON HOME WARRANTY is the worst (of 3) home warranty companies I have ever dealt with! They have the worst customer service, their response time is always more than 10 days-2 weeks, and they never call you back or respond to emails. I only wish I had not let them talk me into a 3-year plan, so I could cancel them and go with a company that actually cares about their clients, and does their job. I would not recommend them to anyone at any price.

This is the worst company! Do not get this warranty! It takes 3 days to file a claim. Then they call you to set up an appointment. In my case the plumber came and amazon had to talk to me before the plumber could fix the issue. I called and called. I left numerous messages. It took 5 days for someone to respond back from amazon. This was terrible! I had to call a plumber my self and get it fixed. This was not paid for by amazon. I鈥檓 cancelling this ASAP.
