They deactivated my account for "inactivity" when I had just been signed in about 20 days ago, that's absolutely stupid, and bad business. They want to "welcome me back" but absolutely 100% screw that. I'll stick with gmail, thanks. But that's absolute hog poop. I genuinely dislike AOL in the deepest way possible. There is no way to recover it, I have tried all the options, just seems like they've gotten so greedy that unless you pay a monthly fee they're coming up with excuses and lies to deactivate accounts.

Really sucks to read how they support views from only a liberal, Democrat perspective. I used to be a moderate and AOL really sucks and should stay out of the news business.

The biased news reporting on aol open page is an absolute autrocity. They obviously think i'm retarged to put up the bull$#*! and lies they constantly circulate. Looking to end the relationship with them for good. Can't wait.

AOL Mail. Well what鈥檚 happened here?
After being with Aol since the beginning I鈥檝e now got to sign in ten to fifteen times a day and I get adverts within my inbox that I can鈥檛 filter out or unsubscribe from.
The shame of it is that I had to give one star on this review as zero stars wasn鈥檛 an option.

Well, aol has a new way of making money. Get this, if you haven't used your aol account in some time and try to sign in they will not allow it.
Then if you try to reset your password, it will not allow it; which forces you to have to call customer support. Once on the phone with customer support the lie and say that when you set up your account you did not set a recovery method so for them to do it, you have to pay their customer support team to reset it for you.
So, basically, they hold your email account hostage until you pay them money, and then they will release it. This was not a 3rd party company, this is aol.
I used the sign-in information that I originally set up for the account so I should not have had to contact them. They lock you out if you haven't used it in a little while and will not let you sign in again whether you're using the correct password or not unless you pay them.
For principal reasons, I did NOT pay them and explained that this was terrible to treat their customers this way.
Beware of what aol is doing and be sure to keep signing into your account from time to time or you will pay dearly to recover it.

Do not use this company if you are getting on in age.
We ordered a washing machine by phone. We booked the day for delivery and all assistance. We are both over 80 and have severe health conditions. The medical advice given to us was that we need rest. Sleep is essential. We informed the seller.
However at 9 pm on the evening before delivery, we received texts stating that the delivery would be from 7 am the next day and we were in the first 3! We could reduce the time slot providing we texted after 6 am on day of delivery.
We needed to get up at 6 am to be ready -several hours short of rest and very inconsiderate of the company. This has resulted in medical problems.
We noticed when booking that some days needed an additional 拢20 (not free as they advertised) -perhaps they get more consideration.
Attempts to contact customer services was impossible despite several attempts
The delivery and fitting seemed to be a different company and was carried out well.
We will not be using them again.

Please do not use this company as their delivery service lets the rest of their team down. They will book you a delivery slot, make a call to you and if you miss it then they will not deliver and take an early finish back to their depot. If you try and resolve they will take 50 minutes plus in a phone call and come back with more lies. Their sat nav systems they use cannot find post codes when the rest of the UK can do so. You wait for a delivery slot, take time off work to be there and they then want to deliver it 4 days further down the line. Sorry but they are full of lies all round.

Washer dryer delivered on Sunday. First class traceable service. Excellent delivery men, a credit to the company. Faultless experience, would certainly use as.com again.

I ordered and had installed 4 days ago a new washer from AOL, who I had used once before, with no complaints. The washer was installed under my sink and seemed to be working OK until I noticed it was vibrating and noisy when on spin. The manual says that this could be caused because transit screws have not been removed or the floor is uneven. I am unable to check, as, even if I can move it (I'm 76) I would not be able to hold it up and inspect it. I wanted AOL to come and have a look but then discovered they no longer deal with phone enquiries and their website only gives you the choices of query listed or contact the manufacturers. From another site I was to be 'connected' to AOL but cut off after 25 mins. Now I read reviews that their service is so poor on everything, and I can do nothing about my problem, I am stuck, as I am paying for the machine through their finance company and therefore cannot and don't know how to return it. Good eh?

Dear fellow AOL Mail users with decades of loyalty and experience:

You can describe, in all the precise detail you want to, the way that AOL is currently moving to DE-functionalize, deprecate, sabotage and destroy the useful pan-platform mail app that was invented under Steve Case in 1995.

None of what you say will make the slightest dent in the attitudes of AOL's corporate overlords at Yahoo, Inc.

And their "Developer Responses" will fail the Turing Test: if they were written by BOTS and not by human beings, there is nothing in the "Responses" grudgingly published by AOL since at least March 1, 2019, that would serve as a clear marker.

At the risk of seeming "paranoid" … it is all quite deliberate.

Never forget that YAHOO.com was the very first email-supporting website to be caught with their hands in the NSA's Cookie Jar in 1995 by Edward Snowden: freely surrendering the entire full-text emails of all their global Users, until a little heat made them move to "metadata-only" responses to the NSA's "National Security Letters."

… and you expect them to do anything that might slow their fanatical march to MORE MORE MORE PROFIT — ??

Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, check out Trustpilot's reviews of AOL. Very few "glowing recommendations" there … unless "glowing" means frustrated enough to contemplate unprecedentedly extreme measures.

AOL / Yahoo is SKYNET. Not a Friend of Human Beings.

(and in case I can figure out a way to submit a review directly to AOL.com):

Dear Bots:

Please publish my comments alongside the others you published covering March 1, 2019 to Oct. 22, 2020. Go ahead. You know you should, it's only fair.

Besides, You aren't the only place where I can publish this …

Thanks for the memories, AOL !

If I could give 0 stars it would be more accurate. These people seem to purposely do whatever possible to alienate and upset customers. Their email has changed forr the worst, as most everything else does. All they have done is continued to reduce services, Spam Filter controls and ability to manage your emails in a safe and sane fashion. Further, they are all about left wing extremist politics and don't care about customers who aren't! They bombard people with slanted stories and unsubstantiated rumors and ram it down their customer's throats every day. They are very sick, mentally ill, childish people, as can be seen from their conduct daily! They have no business operating in this Country any more! They get the Most Clueless Service Provider and The Worst Run Company Awards!! Run as fast as you can from these clueless people.

This is the worst of the worst! Constant spam messages and more each day, can't stop with any filters on aol and they're no help ! Sending mail bombed innnthe middle of a job search! Couldnt attach files and again no help from aol. Why Verizon sold the service to them is beyond me. If it wasnt such a hassle to move all of my contacts and filed emails I'd move to gmail. In the process of doing it but what a hassle.

I was forced to rate this AOL and I gave it a 1. This wasn't honest because you actually deserve a 0 minus. I have had aol for over 17 years and I changed phones and got a new number. I forgot my password or either it was changed from my original password set. I called this company and they refused to help me. The women did tell me that this problem was major and a lot of other originals was also experiencing the same issue. The problem I had was I asked for tech support and to reset my password to my current information they refused and told me that was life that I would lose all my important information, pictures and email addresses. This seemed to be a set up as to she spilled the beams as to others going though the same thing. so my original theory is that some unknown force had hacked into our accounts and stolen our original information and forced us to make duplicate emails accounts or duplicate things against our will. now with the world being invaded by unknown living creatures its obvious as to who and why now. However, I am writing this because it is a disgraceful act against humans and our way of life. I wonder was the government informed of the breach of hackers into a lot of humans losing there email accounts with this company which has not reached out to no one about these accounts and what are happening to them and who are operating them without consent. I am discussed with the behaviors of these creatures and forces in the earth. I want full justice and full restitution for the crimes committed against humanity in all ways. This is a government coverup and the news media spoke about it one day and you never heard from them anymore about these issues. This is true and I certify every word of my writing and experience of my reality in a world where I call earth

What a terrible experience we have had . You order an item , you pay 拢6.99 insurance. For accidental damage etc , for 11 months . The TV dies on you , you try phoning them , they keep putting the phone down . You try live chat 40 mins to an hour to wait . Then you finally get to speak to someone they then say not their problem . We end up buying another TV from someone else . NEVER , EVER GOING TO USE AO.COM AGAIN . WE WOULD BE PLACING A DAMING REPORT WHEREVER WE CAN . TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Why is my post being reviewed? I am not allowed to rebuttal God, Moderators' decisions on the spot. Nobody Cares News writer Lauren Egan is not telling the full truth. Hispanic Prosperity Group has met with Clinton, Bush, and Barry. They need to prove the empty gesture that they state. I can not believe the Press any longer because they write without any foundation for their writing. Make the article an inch thick and a yard deep. State the bottom-line upfront through facts first, give your opinion while supporting your position, and above leave the reader room to make his/her position as Stephen A. Smith does in his articles. I am frustrated with the Press's writing because they must think that I am stupid and can not make my own decisions on any information stated. I do not like someone placing their morals on me.

Can I put -10?
Just to let you know guys, you will not be able to manage folders anymore: no delete, no change name no create, from their web email.
I wrote to support and they told me to go on the FAQ, no updated of course and then they even told me that if I can log in, I have to speak with my local technician as is not their problem.
I asked them who is managing the email structure if my IT or their team.
I don't know if laugh or cry but giys, don't do this emai. The support is shameful

I have been a customer for over 3 years. One of those caught up in the Verizon sell out. My about 1/3 of my daily emails go to INBOX the other 2/3 to trash. Called in repeatedly over the last 3 years and no correction. Jordan in tech support deleted my July 1 2020 emails, told me he would fix the problem and call me back. He told me "to be quiet."
Still waiting days later. Problem not solved again.
Truly these folks should not be able to treat customers this badly.
