I recently ordered a US Air Force cap. I never received the item. I contacted Walmart (who I paid my money to) and they indicated that they would advise Army Universe of my issue. I received an email from Army Universe that basically blew me off by telling me it had been reported as delivered and for me to check with my neighbors or USPS/UPS, or call the Police if I think it may have been stolen. This is not what I consider acceptable customer service. I did my part by ordering and paying. I am not responsible for the logistics! I would definitely not recommend dealing with Army Universe.

Sent wrong size hat. Had to pay for postage return to receive product credit. Also, rude customer support.

Feb 29 2020, ordered a MA1 Flight Jacket from them.
Mar 1 2020, order confirmed, charged $48 from my debit card.
Mar 3 2020, msg from them saying order has shipped via USPS Priority Mail. They even provided a link with a tracking number.
Mar 6 2020, a new msg stating my order could not ship (???) because it's out of stock!
They also mention they canceled/refunded my order.
That's where I started my search online about that company and found out about all those VERY BAD reviews.
I should have done that before ordering…
Will be lucky if I ever get my money back.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

They will avoid accountability for their mistakes and actually lie about things that they do. Wow! They made an error in addressing an order and later lied about this and claimed they hadn't received it– even when the tracking number clearly indicates the item was received back by them. The degree and extent that they will leave you in the dark and skirt responsibility is unbelievable. Go elsewhere.

I should read the reviews first!!!!! All the bad ones are totally true.
Rude people (Except for Kevin) they don't care about its customers.
I was planning to get hundreds of their bags for a large group of people in another country. I am so relief I didn't.
My package was lost and they charged me for the shipping! When I requested my refund they said I have to wait for the "lost package" to get to them in order to get my money. They also took a lot of time to tell me the address was 'wrong.'

I ordered an ACU "ARMY COMBAT UNIFORM" digital for my commander as advertised by Army Universe. When it arrived, they were a cheap knock off of an URBAN pattern, not even close to Urban. They had ZERO accuracy of an ACU pattern. I contacted them and explained it, showed pictures and explained I did not want to pay any fees as the item was described wrong. After returning the item, they refunded me and Kept $10.25 for shipping and restocking fee!! They sold inaccurately described item, took it back and kept my money, even after explaining I needed it for a training Uniform and Identified my self as a soldier.
This company is NOT military friendly, are scammers, falsely advertise and sell cheap knock off Junk.
Military Brothers and Sisters…BEWARE, you will not be satisfied with the product nor Service!

After ordering some jackets from Rothco.com, a transaction managed by Kibo, I received an email saying they'd been dispatched, but none saying they'd been delivered. On checking the tracking number they were listed as delivered by the USPS, but were never received by the person I'd asked for them to be sent them to. So I sent several emails to Kibo, most of which were ignored, and with no help from Kibo, consequently complained directly to Rothco and was then sent to their supplier, Army Universe. Who will not respond to my emails or my requests for a refund. But the jackets have still not been received, nor have I had a refund, and Army Universe are being extremely difficult and obstreperous. When purchasing through Rothco's website, I was led to believe I was doing business with an international brand, Rothco, not a small business in Brooklyn with a strange set of terms and conditions. This has left me a VERY dissatisfied and out of pocket customer and I would be wary of doing business with Rothco, Army Universe or any company they are associated with from now on.

Despite to teach them slowly, gently and patiently, service support and sales staff did not accept to improve and amend their stupid size chart. I bought several clothes, paints, shorts, underware etc based on their chart and NO product was into the measures. All too oversized, I was forced to pay the mailing from Brazil to USA only to replace the order. In any moment I feel that ArmyUniverse is focused in caring and solving customers difficulties. I do not recommend ArmyUniverse to anyone.

I kept chasing them for delivery and they kept saying they are "following up" with the mail company – they kept delaying and playing games and when I finally asked for a refund they told me "sorry the 90 day refund policy has lapsed". I was ripped off.

I've been dealing with Army Universe for 2 yrs now and have only received high quality, affordable, heavy duty, exact to picture and description items that fit well, work good and look cool.
Customer service is outstanding and discounts for future items readily given.
If you have need for tactical, military, camping, backpacking, hunting or fishing items, Army Universe should be your first and last stop
Don't listen to the trolls or haters – they ARE the best Rothco distributor out there – bar none..

Army Universe, not really an entity, merely resells Rothco products. Army Universe is only a trade name. It's a fiction, and is only marketed online at, with and through Amazon.com, at one of Amazon's online Department stores. So, the true Retailer/Seller is Amazon.com. But, Holy Cow, if you buy at the Amazon website, the product information is scrubbed clean of any adverse and negative facts, like, for instance, the wool blanket is made in India where it was saturated in a harsh, toxic, dangerous mix of chemicals that will burn your skin and face, and disfigure you. The advertising is so false, the so-called virgin wool blanket is not, and the synthetic content is never identified. Moreover, Army Universe products are advertised with "Free Shipping" as are most products sold on Amazon. That's another lie. Well, Army Universe-Amazon will defraud you every time. Oh, didn't read the fine print on some obscure link? Oh, didn't know that their blankets are saturated in dangerous chemicals? And, if you try and write an honest, truthful review of the product to warn other Amazon customers, Amazon will deliberately suppress and censor your review, because making the true owners of Army Universe happy is all Amazon cares about. Screw the customers. The customer must be kept ignorant to be victimized. Worse, many of the products sold by Amazon.com including products from this despicable "merchant" are made using slave labor, which is why Amazon.com wants to pretend it's unrelated. "Let's insert 4-5 shell companies between us and the slaves". Consumers need to care about not buying slave made goods, and they really need to demand labelling that proves an independent organization has verified that slaves are not being used to make all these products.

Ordered a pair of boots according to their size chart, which is completely wrong. The boots were too big so I emailed them to exchange for a smaller size.
They responded by saying I had to start a completely new order for the right boots along with instruction on how to send the initial product back, which I followed to the letter.

I had paid $49 for the boots + $5.64 for the initial shipping + the return shipping fee. They refunded me $41. When asked why they told me they had a refund fee.

2 days after that email they sent me another one saying that if I would had told them it was an exchange they would had refund me for the shipping (in previous emails they say they don't refund shipping costs) and not charge the restocking fee.

In another words they blamed me for their inefficiency. I took my business elsewhere!

Re: Order #103-3180659-8501838

Dear Customer Service:

I am writing this letter regarding a product XXXXXXXX purchased from your company, ArmyUniverse.com.

Unfortunately, because of the way your company dealt with my son, XXXXXX in regards to his order I am not pleased one bit with your customer service. My son was deployed overseas at the time he placed this order. He needed the RIGHT bag to ensure that on his trip back to the States that he would be able to pack all the items he had collected during his deployment. Unfortunately, your company sent him the WRONG bag and therefore he had to dispose of some of these items, thanks to your HORRIBLE willingness to help him attain the RIGHT bag he had originally ordered. Need I even mention the fact that my son serves this country for your freedom and all he can get in return is an unsatisfactory result. Needless to say, your customer service is HORRIBLE! So, do me this great favor and credit my son for all monies he dished out for this item, so he may shop elsewhere for the RIGHT bag.

XXXXXX paid $82.55 for the WRONG product.

XXXXXXX contacted ArmyUniverse.com on April 18, 2011 via email, and explained that the product was unsatisfactory. Failure to receive an appropriate response to this problem has prompted me to write directly to you.

To resolve the problem, please refund the full purchase price of $82.55 plus my cost for shipping of $8.06 for a grand total of $90.61.

Enclosed are copies of my records, including Email correspondence.

We will wait 14 days before seeking further assistance.

RESULT OF LETTER: IT DID NO GOOD!! AFTER RETURNING THE ITEM, HE EVENTUALLY REC'D A REFUND BUT OF A LESSER AMT THAN MENTIONED ABOVE. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS UNIVERSE???????
