Complained to Asda head office, received 拢25 in vouchers, only to receive a 拢27 mobile bill for calling their 0844 number. I won鈥檛 be trusting them ever again.
Staff are great, they know me by name and visa Versa, management are complete holes! Absolutely no loyalty to customers, very disappointed!

At Asda they do things differently on two counts. Firstly they will match an alternative product by price. I ordered Castillo Danish Blue Cheese, 拢1.50. They deliver Costello creamy soft cheese with chilli flakes , 拢1.50, matching the manufacturer and price, but supplying a completely different cheese. I ORDERED DANISH BLUE MATE !
On the second occasion I sent towels and bedding to my student son, ordering a charcoal bath towel and hand towel. Asda sell a few varieties and qualities. All I needed was a bath towel. They did not deliver one. No alternative was considered, SO NO BATH TOWEL.
I also ordered a 4kg box of their own brand washing powder. Out of stock so NO WASHING POWDER. Surely there MUST have been SOME Asda washing powder in stock, perhaps in a smaller size ? But please don鈥檛 leave me without washing powder. Bring any viable alternative so if I am desperate for washing powder I have the option to take it and not be left in the lurch. Asda have got this catastrophically wrong.
At Tesco you just ring the local shop and they sort things outquickly and efficiently. One man even dropped missing goods off for me on his way home.
Upon raising this via customer service I got a foreign person reading a script in a monotone and insincere fashion. Would have got more empathy from the speaking clock. I tried to explain that I desperately needed washing powder and would they deliver next day free of charge as I am not a rich person and ordering one item would incur extra charges. To offset this she agreed to give me a 拢6 e-voucher however, as a number of other reviewers mention, It did not materialise.
Asda, you have got serious problems. If I can鈥檛 trust you to deliver the things I need then I will go to your competitor who can

I do not recommend doing online grocery shopping/delivery with them. I just got my order cancelled for the second time in a few days. First time due to the power outage, which is fine, things happen, however I was promised to receive a evoucher as an apology, but it is still not showing in the account. Second time, last night they took the money for the order once and then they tried doing it again two times during the night. Thankfully, I didn't transfer enough money into my second account, otherwise who knows how many times I would be charged. Then this morning they cancelled my order again, saying they couldn't process my order as they haven't received the payment.. A joke. Tried speaking to their team on the online chat – a very unpleasant woman sent me their standard response: 'they payment hasn't been processed their end, please speak to the bank' and then she disconnected! Absolutely unacceptable.

Then things went downhill from there, we needed to return a kettle we bought with our groceries, I called and asked and they said we must bring it in store to get a refund. My hubby and I got on a bus and took it in store. We then waited 30 minutes before someone helped us and told us no, we have to phone again and tell them they cannot do this process in store which I don't believe as how are they going to get our kettle over the phone???? Anyway, we did our shopping and went home. Called the Customer Service again and they said we can give it to the delivery driver when we order more groceries.
So 3 days ago, i ordered some groceries, Last night I was supposed to have them delivered between 20:00 and 22:00 as i only get home from work at 19:30. Well, i missed a call from the driver at 17:00. In the voicemail it said, please call me back *IF*, you want to get your groceries earlier. Well, i didn't call back as i would not be home to accept them.
I got home, got my bags ready to go downstairs, hoping for some great service and hopefully return the kettle as a breeze. No, nobody pitched. I phoned the driver at 22:05 and he said that they will deliver tomorrow, when they can. My hubby is at home waiting for the delivery. I get a notification to tell me that my order has been cancelled. I phone the driver, no answer, I phone customer service and they said i can only receive my groceries on Saturday when there is an opening and I was given wrong information from the driver and that's all they can offer me.
This service is unacceptable. My husband now has to take a bus to ASDA and luckily we got a quick click and collect spot. Hope all goes well with this kettle.

Ordered my home delivery online, the delivery was due to arrive between 15:00 and 17:00. Waited until 17:30 still no delivery. Called customer services and was told driver couldn't find our address. I then spoke to the delivery office and was told the driver turned up at 16:48 which wasn't the case because we were waiting for our food so that we could give our 3 year old daughter her dinner. I was then told that our delivery would arrive at 21:00, I waited in for the delivery and it didn't turn up. Called again at 22:00 but was then told they had cancelled my order. At no point did anyone let us know that our order was not coming, a complete waste of our time and money. Sadly won't be using this service again.
In the end I had to go to the shops myself to buy food.
