The whole experience was amazing and met our expectations in every way.
from the hotels, food, bus driver/tour guide to all the scenic spots visited.

This specially designed package designed for myself and my granddaughter by Anastasia was perfect! Everything from the rental car to the B & B's and hotel was splendid! The food at our lodging areas was superb!! I needed to contact our customer representative, Anastasia, while we were in Ireland. She responded quickly and it was on the weekend! You cannot ask for better service than that, in my opinion!!! I will definitely book with this company again!!!

Megan did an outstanding job of creating a custom 3-week vacation based on the information I provided to her. We basically toured the entire island in a clock-wise direction. All of the accommodations were outstanding! Although this was a self-drive trip (which certainly is a trip, driving in Ireland!) but Megan provided numerous points of interest for each of our 11 destinations. I felt the tour was reasonably priced and it went off without a hitch. Megan's attention to detail was fantastic. I would highly recommend Authentic Vacations and I would definitely use them again for any future trips to Ireland or the UK!

My husband and I had always wanted to do a self-guided driving tour of Ireland but had no idea where to begin. Where should we go, how much time should we spend at each location, and what sites should we see were all daunting questions we just couldn't get clear answers to on our own. Amanda with Authentic Ireland made it effortless. She patiently worked with us for months as we put together our perfect tour and it was apparent right from our first location that she nailed it. Even more impressive is the reputation Authentic Ireland has and many times our hosts seemed to go out of their way to facilitate our needs. The accommodations were first class, the locations all unique and worthy, and our overall experience both worry-free and unforgettable. Thanks for an amazing vacation we won't soon forget!

We highly recommend Authentic Vacations. Heather was our consultant and she was fantastic. From the minute we stepped off the plane and got into a taxi and went to our first hotel to the 7th hotel and everything in between was absolutely perfect. We did not have one problem, concern or hiccup! Heather took care of every detail. She gave us so many tips and suggestions that truly helped us throughout our 11 day trip to Ireland. Our Ireland trip was absolutely fantastically wonderful. We enjoyed every last minute and everything went as planned. Our accommodations were very, very nice. We have only the kindest and fondest words for all of our hosts, and of course, some places were a little fancier than others. However, that was part of the plan. Our favorites were the two farm houses which were were quite different from each other, but both memorable experiences. It is so good to visit a country where US citizens are welcomed and treated so nicely. We very highly recommend Authentic Ireland for assisting us with our arrangements, as we are most pleased with our experience. Thank you!

Almost three years ago my parents and I sat down to plan a trip to Ireland for the immediate family. We got the map of Ireland out on the table and planned away. A couple weeks after that I sent out what I thought was an amazing, doable trip to Authentic Ireland. Within 24 hours I received an email back from Con our Travel Advisor. Con looked over what I had sent and without hesitation took that trip and customized it to the amazing trip we just recently experienced. Con was able to provide us guidance on the rules of the road and how far things would truly take to travel to. Con was always free to answer my questions and did so with a great sense of urgency.

We started out with 32 family members for this trip and over the last 2.5 years we got down to 17 travelers. This trip that Con organized was truly a trip of a lifetime. From the accommodations to the sites to the towns, everything surpassed me and my family's expectations. Everything was taken care of and there was absolutely zero stress for a family of 17, traveling to Europe for the very first time. Words cannot express the appreciation we have for Con and Authentic Ireland. I know that I can speak for my family when I say, that we will not only recommend this company to other friends and yes even more family members but we will be sure to come back to them for our next big family adventure! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We asked for a self-drive tailor made experience for active action seekers, and we got that. We had plenty of castles, churches, hikes, and sight-seeing during the day with fun pubs to close out the nights. Even stayed the night in one of the most haunted castles and had a memorable experience.

Most wonderful vacation ever! The people on the tour (to a one) and the people of Ireland were easy going, fun, and open to each other. We saw extremely beautiful places, heard about the history of the places we saw through a very knowledgeable and humorous Tour Director and Driver. The hotels and meals were the best! Would go back and stay longer at the drop of a hat. Our booking agent, Jocoya, was great to deal with and she took care of every detail of our booking and answered any questions or responded to concerns in a timely fashion prior to and throughout our trip. Everything we hoped it would be and more with beautiful accommodations and great sight seeing recommendations! Best part is, when you get there everything is paid for but your food and gas! Jordan with Authentic Ireland was just fantastic! Due to my husband's job, we had to change our dates several times and she was always right on top of everything and very patient. Our accommodations included beautiful hotels and castles that I could only have imagined and would have never dreamed of booking myself. The entire 10 days in Ireland was the trip of a lifetime and we are already planning another and will certainly use Authentic Ireland again.

Our trip to Scotland was spectacular. We worked with Con Jager to design and book our trip. We ended our 11 day stay in Scotland at Culcreuch Castle…blissfully peaceful and elegant, a perfect ending to a full itinerary! Con鈥檚 extensive knowledge of Scotland travel helped us to make decisions and craft an itinerary so full and rich in experiences. The memories of this trip will stay with us for a very long time. The haggis, hiking and history, the castles, cultural experiences and car driving, the Scotch and the ever-so-friendly Scots and so much more鈥攖ruly a trip to remember! My trip was a mother/daughter trip to Ireland. Heather came up with an itinerary that allowed us to see what we wanted to see. It was a self drive and by day 3 we were comfortable with that. We could have spent more days in DUBLIN and the Trinity City Hotel was a great location, accommodations and breakfast. The day trip to Northern Ireland was worth it to see Giants Causeway but it is a very long day. Unfortunately it rained in Galway and all during the Connemara day trip and the walk from Salthill to central Galway was long in bad weather. we drove to the Cliffs of Moher and spent a nice long time there then drove to Killarney. The Victorian House Hotel was very comfortable and close to everything. we really enjoyed KILLARNEY national park and wished we had more time to explore. The last day we drove to ROCH of CASHEL then stayed outside of DUBLIN. Checkins were easy and the day tours all arranged ahead of time we just showed up. So if there is a next trip we will know what we want and stay longer in those areas. Definitely a memorable trip and we were glad we did the self drive.

I absolutely loved using Authentic Ireland to plan my honeymoon! The predesigned vacations made planning so much easier alongside Alaina's excellent help!! We loved our trip and kept commenting on how perfect the location of all of our accommodations were as well as the design of the trip in terms of where we went each day and all the things we got to experience. By the end of the trip, we felt satisfied with everything we got to see and didn't feel like we missed out on anything. We never could have planned a trip like this ourselves and we're so grateful we found this website! We will definitely visit it again for future trip planning.

We just returned from 12 days in Ireland and we all agreed, it was the trip of a lifetime! We had 6 people in our group and we chose the luxurious private chauffeur tour. What a great decision! With Lonna鈥檚 expertise, we were able to map out a route that took us to all the places we wanted to visit. Our driver Mark Ryan was the absolute best!! He was extremely knowledgeable of Irish history and folklore which enhanced our tour greatly. He even knew the places we鈥檇 like best for lunch! He was very accommodating of our needs and interests and was particularly mindful of my husband who has mobility issues. Lonna鈥檚 guidance and recommendations on our hotel and castle stays was invaluable. All of our hotels and reservations for activities went very smoothly and the breakfasts were scrumptious. We love the Irish people who struck a heartfelt chord in all of us!
