AutoNation Honda Chandler

New 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5T 鈥?I purchased this vehicle from Autonation Honda in Chandler, Arizona 6 weeks ago. I have not made the first payment yet on this vehicle and according to the dealership, the transmission is defective and needs to be replaced. Not only does my vehicle have a defective transmission but the hood cover insulation had a major stain which leads me to believe that this vehicle was also leaking something from the engine. I do not feel safe in this vehicle nor will I risk my family鈥檚 safety on a car that has major defects such as a transmission failure. As a family we take many road trips and I don鈥檛 want to imagine what could have happened if our brand new car failed on us in the middle of the desert with no cellphone reception. I did my research online and I thought that it would be a great purchase since Honda has a reputation for reliability and this car in particular is supposed to be one of the best. I no longer want this car and I am requesting Honda to please refund this purchase. Thank you!

We have been visiting local dealerships looking for a new car. In getting down to "the dreaded bottom line", all the dealerships showed their dishonesty by sneaking in thousands of dollars in high profit margin "Add-Ons" like Dealer Preparation Fees, Paint Sealant, Window Tint, VIN etching, Nitrogen gas in tires, fabric protection, etc, Very dis-concerning to us.
First thing we looked for, at AutoNation Chandler Honda, was what was posted on the invoice as "Add-Ons". Surprise! Only Window Tint, which we wanted anyway. One surprise after another awaited us. Friendly "cards-on-the-table" staff. An offer to give a nice Veterans discount. Wait – could it be? A friendly Finance Manager? (yup). Then a wonderful experience learning the vehicles systems. Today, the phone rang and a friendly voice asked "hows it going with your new car – Anything we can do to enrich your purchase experience?".
Think we will recommend AutoNation Honda Chandler? YOU BET!
