Very easy to order, fantastic quality! I like the minimal packaging, i wasn't home when my delivery arrived, i got home an hour after and everything was super cold still, would have happily left if for another few hours with out any worries. Can't wait to order our next box!

Excellent meat quality and prices. Only frustration is that you send 2 x 拢5 vouchers yet you can only use one per order

Excellent quality produce, always fresh and tastes amazing. Very easy to order and good customer service. The only thing we find difficult is how much packaging there is. As a family of 6 we already have a lot of rubbish and recycling to contend with and the Bear Groceries boxes add a lot to our already overflowing bins. It would be good to somehow offer the option to unload the box when it arrives and send the packaging back (although I'm aware that wouldn't work with the current courier service). Overall though an excellent company.

I have bought several bear essentials boxes now and I find them very handy particularly after a busy week or to be delivered after a holiday. I like the mix of fruit, veg meat fish and a piece of cheese. I would like to see a bit more seasonality though and for the veg to change through the year. Also this time I got 2 enourmous onions. Sometimes bigger isn't better and I'd rather have had 6 smaller onions. Everything was fresh as usual and we have particularly enjoyed the braising steak.

I can't fault them the meat is lovely and tender and compared to butchers and supermarkets you get so much more and better quality for your money the veg is fresh lasts ages very happy with purchase 5th time I've ordered

I just had my first delivery of meat and veg. The quality of the produce is great. Delivery was prompt and everything was very fresh. Will see definitely order again.

First class as usual no complaints from me on quality. Dragon sausages were great taste, the beef joint just melted in the mouth when cooked and no gristle that you get from the supermarket.

I have had a dozen or so boxes from Bearfaced. I usually order a meat and veg box, but ordered a fish box as well this week. As always the boxes are well packed with plenty of ice packs which would keep product chilled all day, and probably the next day too! It's lovely to open up the box and find so many lovely goodies! Meat and fish of excellent quality and good value. I wouldn't normally buy fish from the supermarket, as it seems expensive and I'm unsure of the freshness, but this was good value and very tasty. The fish had a 5 day life, the meat about 10 days – so plenty of time to use it, and it freezes well. It would be good to be able to use two vouchers at a time to pay as I have piles of 拢5 vouchers to use!

Ok, so this is my 6th order from Bearfaced and up until now I have always been happy with everything from the selection of produce to the delivery. However, upon opening my family fish box this time, I was disappointed to see an out of date packet of trout fillets from a well known supermarket. I order from Bearfaced due to their ethos of sourcing produce from alternate suppliers to provide fresh 'better than supermarket' ingredients. When I highlighted the mistake to Bearfaced, they refunded me 拢10 for the inconvenience but gave me no satisfactory explanation of how I ended up with a packet of fish from a supermarket in my Bearfaced order. Disappointing, but I for one can no longer trust or recommend Bearfaced to anyone.

These Cajun Chicken breasts are the nicest marinated chicken we have had. My husband is a bit of a fuss pot about meat and he loves them. Very moist, good sized and taste gorgeous. Not too hot but well flavoured, deep and well rounded, they don't leave you gagging for water to cool the mouth. Would definitely add these to my boxes in the future.
