I received a red screen notice telling me I had a Trojan virus and my personal banking information, images, emails, etc. were all in jeopardy if I didn't have Microsoft fix it right away, and so he went through all the processes and even had remote access with his cursor! If I wasn't so terrified that he was telling the truth, I wouldn't have gone through with it…now I'm out nearly $200 US and there was nothing wrong with my computer!

I was trying to get into my ProSeries Account with Intuit when a strange website covered the screen informing me I had a virus. I had just taken my computer to Office Max a week ago for virus protection. When I called the number on the screen, I was told they were Microsoft and could help me. Office Max gave me your number which told me to go to this web sight. This was a virus scam they said.

Hello, I have also been scammed by Jason Wills. I was on my computer when everything went black and I was told to call 1-855-833-9547 within 5 minutes because my hard drive would be damaged due to a virus. I let Jason Wills, Emp ID: D2889, Extn No;1991 talk me into a lifetime security + 5 years unlimited tech support from Microsoft Team and easily transferable to a new computer for $499.99 so I paid it. Within a month I received a phone call from the tech support stating that there was a problem on their end, their system crashed so they were going to refund my $499.99. I was told to open my checking account on my computer so they could put the refund into my account. On that day I did not have my computer so I couldn't, he was very upset and wanted to know where my computer was (which was none of his business), I had loaned my computer to my daughter. He told me to get my computer back and he would call in a couple of days. On Tuesday, August 23 @ 1:23 pm I received a call asking me to open my checking account so they could put my refund in my account. I told them no, credit my credit card back. So at 1:25 pm, same day I was called back with the same request and I was told they couldn't put the credit on my credit card because their system crashed and they didn't have that information any more so I offered to give them that and they said they couldn't do that so I told them to send me a check, their response was the only way they were permitted to refund my money was to put it into my checking account. Even though in my gut I knew I shouldn't do that, I did it any way. My screen went black, I called my bank right away and I was told they couldn't prevent them from removing money from my account so I took my computer down. The man on the phone started yelling at me for doing that so I told him I was going to report them to the Attorney General and at that time he told me that he was going to charge my credit card $800.00 for doing what I did. I said I didn't think you had that information because of the system crash, at that time he told me he could. I called my credit card company and told them to reject any transactions from S.S. CHOPRA so my account was noted. I went to bring my computer up and I couldn't so I called them back. Being very rude to me they told me I would have to go to Wall-Mart and pay $800.00 to get a 10 digit code before I could have access to my computer again. I took my computer to The Geek Squad, they fixed my computer and I was told that the virus that Jason Wills claimed I had I was already protected from it. How do I get my money back? I'm retired and on a fixed income $500.00 is a lot of money to me.

I got a message on my computer that it had a virus and I should call 1 855 357 4747. I did this and foolishly let them talk me into following their directions to clear the virus.
