We visited Italy and found a lovely Italian wine with one of our meals out which was superb. We searched high and low and found that Bernabei supplied this wine to the UK. We have had 3 orders of 12+ bottles each time. Superb service with prompt delivery and very well packaged. Highly recommended.

Always prompt, well packaged and very reasonably priced wines. I see a lot of angry reviews below but really I can't agree at all. I've order 4 orders of around 拢125 each and all have been great. That's to different addresses. Also they've always been delivered before they said they would be. I never write reviews but seeig people badmouthing this company and knowing i've had such a good experience made me actually sit down and write one. That's how happy I have been with them.

Another excellent, punctual delivery from the ever-reliable Bernabei. A great choice of interesting wines at very reasonable prices (delivery included), coupled with an outstanding service. Highly recommended- a pleasure doing business.

I placed my order I had no problem with the delivery.
On receiving the order I open the first bottle did not test any thing like it that was described.
I reported to the company no once but three time and each time I had a standard response that as nothing to do with my complaint.
I will not be use this company again and definitely do not recommend them.

i bought some Frascati Fontana Candida recently and when opened the wine was so much sweeter than i remembered. I thought maybe my pallet had changed but went into a restaurant and tried the smaller dumpy bottle variant and it was perfect! Raised the matter with Bernabei and got a response that i needed to send the wine back to Italy at my expense until they proved it was wrong. Onus put on me to do the work for a faulty wine. In all my years buying wine professionally i would never respond to a customer this way.

I ordered a case of Italian wine SPECIFICALLY because they were offering the year 2016. I received the order quite promptly but it was 2018. It took 10 days to get a proper response, which was that they had no 2016. I feel they deliberately misled me, they did not contact me before shipping and I have wasted a lot of time trying to get a response. I will not use this company again and definitely do not recommend them.

Ordered 6 bottles of wine (order 400012765) which got lost in transit (UPS tracking 1Z30E3366805827198) and Bernabei informed straight away. There is no update from UPS since 22 July and Bernabei did not ship a replacement or issued a refund. I've asked Paypal to investigate. No wine, no refund at the moment.. – "great!".

Did 3 orders in 4 months. For one of them 1 bottle was missed but they gave me a voucher to use for the next order. Customer service quickly answeres to my claim. No problems. Orders arrive in few days (place in italy) Frankly i am going to use them often

I placed an test order of 6 bottles the 6th of June and after a month time no information about the delivery. So I had to cancel it and thanks to Paypal I got a refund. Shame! Such companies must be forbidden to operate online.

I spent over 拢60 for a bottle of white wine for a special occasion, but we received a champagne that was priced 拢20.
I contacted the customer service but I never received an answer, either a refund. STAY AWAY!

Order 40001215. They sent incorrect 6 bottles of wine. Pre-paid return label provided and the return parcel received by Bernabei on 25 June. However, there is still no refund and they are ignoring my emails. I've started Paypal dispute to get my money back from them this way. Be aware- there will be problems with Bernabei when something goes wrong! Customer Service is awful!

UPDATE 14 July: Paypal closed escalated case in my favour and issued a refund! AVOID BERNABEI!!

RESPONSE TO THE BELOW: as i said (!), return parcel reached Bernabei on 25 June (UPS tracking: 1Z30E3369928658163). I paid with Paypal and the dispute case has been escalated for them to step in. Yes, I used correct email address to contact you!! – VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed an order for almost 拢200 on 1st of June. The website says they're still processing the order. Customer service gave me a 拢 10 voucher for future purchases, still no news about the delivery date, they don't even share a tracking number!

UPDATE: After their reply here, they still haven't got back in touch with a solution. The order on the website shows "In preparation". Joke.

First order with this company, didn't realise it was coming direct from Italy.
Received my shipment in 1 week, perfectly packaged, exactly the right wines that i ordered. Good prices, and fantastic Italian wine.
Will definitely be using Bernabei again, and recommending to others.

Scammy business operation for international shipping. I ordered 6 bottles, got three of them replaced by cheaper ones. I do get that stock management was not easy during that time, but it could have been replaced by bottles of equivalent value.

They never replied me, I won't fight over 20 bucks, and thye know it. That's how they operate. Avoid this website, go to your local wineshops and domestic websites, you'll pay a bit more but at least you'll get what you actually pay for.

I have ordered from them excited about the huge selection of wines they have. They said 5-7 working days but has been more than two weeks I'm waiting for the delivery. Also when I try to contact them I get no answer. Typical of italian stuff. great, good price very bad customer service.
