Without going into details, I had a problem with some frames and after having them only four months, I decided to exchange them. Their "12-month" warranty is a complete farce. They pretended to send me a return shipping label a couple of times, and I finally resolved the problem by dealing directly with the manufacturer of the frames. Meanwhile, everyone I contacted at BestBuyEyeglasses.com lied to me – that seems to be their corporate policy. Save yourself a ton of hassle by buying from someone else. You may have to pay a little more, but you will be sorry if you buy from BestBuyEyeglasses.com.

Ordered my prescription sunglasses on 25th January 2018 also paid for the order at the same time. Was told there would be a one week delay in getting them from the suppliers. Agreed to wait. This carried on for a further 2 weeks and I again agreed to wait as I was not in a rush for them. Finally on February 20th I received an email saying they were currently processing my prescription and it could be another 5-7 working days and they would ship them via courier. Received another email on 26th February stating they were being prepared for dispatch. On 2nd March I contacted them asking when I would get delivery. They told me they were unable to process my prescription and they cancelled the order without notifying me. It took them over six weeks to determine they would be unable to process my prescription. They have not mentioned anything about a refund. This is really appalling service. Would not recommend them to anyone.

I was hesitant at first when I ordered my glasses and then read the reviews. Usually I do the opposite. My experience with this company was great. My debit card was changed through the whole process so I contacted them and they handled it without missing a beat. I ordered my frames march the 3rd and got them on march the 18th not bad considering these frames were on back order. I think if my card wasn't changed in the middle of it, I would of received earlier. I'm very satified and considering getting a pair of sunglasses.

I ordered a pair of frames and they sent the wrong frames twice. They couldn't guarantee the they would send the right ones on the third try. They didn't seem to care that they kept screwing up.

I contacted bestbuyeyeglasses via chat to inquire about what brand presciption lens that they use (e.g. Essilor, Zeiss, Hoya, etc.). They responded by saying that they can't share that information. After extensive research, this is the only eyeglass retailer (brick & mortar or online store) that refuses to provide such important information. I will take my business elsewhere and recommend you do your research and not buy from them. If I'm going to pay over $100 for prescription lenses, this information matters for those who care at all about quality or what they're paying for. Bestbuyeyeglasses doesn't seem to care about that and have lost a potential customer.

I ordered a pair of eyeglass frames that were shown as 'in stock' on a Monday. The next day the order went to 'fulfillment', a process that according to the site will take 1-3 days before being sent out, and my credit card was charged the full amount. On Friday of that week I was notified that the glasses were back ordered and were now scheduled to be delivered 3 weeks later. Of course the site still shows the frames as in stock (how else would they lure other unsuspecting people?).

When I called to see why the frames were back ordered despite being showed as in stock I was notified that 'the supplier only stocks one pair of frames in each color and when those sell they have to order a new pair from the manufacturer. This obviously didn't answer the question, but I didn't expect a straightforward answer so I did get what I expected here.

The reputable online companies that I do business with a:) show out of stock items as such, b:) don't charge the credit card the full amount until they have shipped the products, and c:) they ship the products in a timely manner consistent with what they say on their website.

Buyer beware.

Awful, awful customer service. I've ordered from them before with no problems, but they have absolutely plummeted in their customer service. I've called them during their limited business hours, and no one ever picked up the phone. I've e-mailed them directly and filled out their form on their website, but no one ever responded to me. The prices are decent, and their selection is good, but in these times of such great competition in the market, I would think they would put in some effort in customer service. I would rather pay more at a brick and mortar store than deal with such atrocious customer service. They definitely lost me as a customer.

I'm buying from Australia. I was a bit hesitant at first to buy anything from here, but this was the only site I could find that stocked the sunglasses I wanted. (Michael Kors 'Cheshire') Price was reasonable but the price of the shipping was a lot because of them having to use a partner company (Bongo) which re-routes packages to international locations. I believe it did take one or two days longer to process the item and actually ship it off than was stated in the 'how long does it take' section of the website. Apart from this I had no issues with the item. The sunglasses were mint condition, brand new, plastic-packaged and came with the standard accessories – sunglass case and microfiber cloth bearing the brand's logo. I'm very satisfied with the item and I'm sure that it is legitimate.

"I am an Australian shopper who went online towards end of November 2012. I purchased approximately $250.00 worth of product that I paid additional shipping to ensure it would arrive before Christmas with their International courier company Bongo. The expected delivery date was no later than 20/12/2012. As I didn't receive them I contacted the courier company only to be advised that the merchant (Bestbuy eyeglasses) did not send them the order for shipping.
The company did not send me an email to notify me of any delays however was more than happy to take the money out of my account).
I am extremely dissatisfied with the company, and they have yet to respond to my email.

Do not BUY from them International buyers.. They clearly have no intention to improve their service, or have any integrity in their service."

This company has delayed and delayed my order, claiming this and that. Worse, they have told me it would arrive on different days and when it didn't arrive, I had to call and ask. There is no follow-through with this company. I have yet to receive my glasses and now I am afraid that if I cancel I will have to pay an exorbitant fee, as well as the fact that even if I do receive them, they might be fakes, or worse, they will be ruined. Also, the sales associate lied about their closing hours just to avoid having to rectify my order. To this day I have no idea where these glasses are being shipped to, when they will arrive or what type of shipping I will get (eg. same-day, two-day etc). She told me that there were 'no managers' available and that someone would call me back in a half our, except that nobody ever called me back.

Do not trust this company. I thought I would be saving some money and that a reasonable amount of delay would be worth it, but this company is a racket. If you research their principal Daniel Kandler, CEO of bestbuyeyeglasses, you'll find that he is not part of the BBB and that all of his businesses are rated very low in Florida for business and there is some question as to whether his business has licences and is bonded for eyewear glasses.

I did some investigation and Daniel Kandler has eyeglass "companies" all over the US, so I think what may be happening is that while the customer service operates out of FL, the "Lab" is operated elsewhere to avoid being bonded and licensed according to FL regulations. He had another eyeglass company that just mysterious 'disappeared' before the emergence of bestbuyeyeglasses.com. It is very likely that if this isn't some sort of scam, that at the very least he is operating a barely, legal eyeglass facility and that the lenses aren't up to FL state regs, hence the ability to get away with murder on sales and returns.

DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS. If you want to contact me to see if I am a 100% authentic customer, please do.

They don't tell you ahead that there is a 10% cancelation charge. They're prices are about 20% higher than some online retailers. Do NOT buy from BestBuyEyeglasses.com

DO NOT shop at bestbuyeyeglasses.com Their service is horrible! I got a pair of Ray Bans Aviator 52, which were too small, so I exchanged for 58. The first time they sent me a pair of defective glasses with scratches all over the frames, so I sent them back for a new pair. Unfortunately, second time around was still the same. Scratches still all over the frames, which convinced me they just didn't care about their customers. I haven't contacted them yet about the 2nd exchange, but I so frustrated with them because the representative, Heather, promised and ensured me that she would check carefully and ensure a "new" pair was sent to me. "New" was right, but it was a "new" used pair. I am not even sure if it's worth the time to be on the phone with them anymore. As an fyi, the customer service don't open on weekends and operates short hours, so it takes a lot of patience and time to deal with them. I ordered the original pair since early May and I am still struggling to get a pair of nice Ray Bans with the money that I am paying. The worst part is that I am not even sure if they are real Ray Bans as there were no laser sticker on the len just like the first time when the 2nd replacement arrived. STAY AWAY from them!

I purchased a Burberry frame priced at 169.99 USD, and paid 16.95 USD for shipping to Canada with UPS Ground Service as stated on the company's website.

When I received the product I had to pay additional 50 CAD to UPS, 8.50 CAD were for the standard Goods and Service Tax (GST) and the remaining 41 CAD !!!! were for brokerage fees to UPS in addition to the shipping fees already paid to BestBuyEyeGlasses. The Canadian Border Services Agency does not charge duty of prescription eyeglass frames.

I called BestBuyEyeGlasses.com to inquire about the additional brokerage fee charged by UPS and questioned them if they were aware about the extra fees I had to pay. The customer service representative first tried to convince me that it was duty and taxes, I stated that on the UPS invoice it clearly states that it is a brokerage fee. I had already spoken to UPS and the Canada Border Services Agency and had a good understanding regarding the fees. UPS had also informed me that by choosing UPS ground service, BestBuyEyeGlasses acquired unnecessary brokerage fees on my behalf and should have sent the product by air instead.

To make a long story short, the three customer service representatives from BestBuyEyeGlasses (and their manager) were unhelpful and uninformed. The manager informed me that they were aware about the brokerage fee and therefore has a statement on the web page indicating that the purchase could be subject to brokerage fees. Interestingly enough they did not consider important to state the amount of the brokerage fee on their web site and choose the most expensive mode of shipping.

I requested to speak to the owner of the company, but the customer service representative told me that she did not know who the owner was.

BestBuyEyeGlasses also omitted to sign the Certificate of Authenticity and the Certificate of Guarantee, which invalidates the 24-month warranty on the frame. This also raises questions about the authenticity of the product that I received.

In summary I would not recommend this
