I would like to give a shout out to our lovely guide Lionel who made the tour interesting and entertaining. He is truly passionate about what he is doing and we've had a wonderful time during our tour listening to him talking about the history of the places we've seen. He is very knowledgeable and I guarantee if you have him as guide, you won't get bored 🙂 . My apologies for the late review, our tour was back in August and I am writing the review just now…but it needed to be done! Thank you!

Good morning the reason for this is to tell you that I was disappointed with the BIG BUS hop on hop off service in the city of London, since I had a 6 hour stay in the city of London on July 9, 2019 and I wanted to take the opportunity to visit the Shard building the highest in England and see the city from the viewpoint, the problem is that I asked the ticket seller at the bus stop number 3 and I assure that the bus passed in front of the building and I could get off at the bus stop number 15, as you will realize the bus does not pass by where I was indicated so I no longer visit the Shard and for me and my wife as architects was disappointing, so I request I will be rewarded in the way you want.
Since a seller of the Golden tours line warned me and even was much cheaper.
otherwise everything was excellent, this was my third time I took the tour in the city of london.
Many thanks I hope to continue being your client and be able to recommend them as I have done. attentively
I am aware that it was not malicious that the seller told me that, it was just a mistake, he was a good person.

We really like Big Bus Tours. We've hopped on and off in Chicago, NY, Paris, Rome and London. There were problems beyond BIG BUS's control in London and the traffic really slowed things down. I understand all of that and accepted it for what it was. However, the fact that stop 19 was temporarily closed and not noted on the app was frustrating. It also cost me a 20 pounds, and probably an hour of sight seeing to take a taxi to stop 18.

This proved to be an excellent way to quickly move around the city. The weather was ideal and the buses were timely. We saw so many sites that we likely would not have otherwise. I would highly recommend Big Bus!

This Big Bus tour was unlike my prior experience in another city. The buses were hard to find, the Orange route was only recorded and not informative or fun. The red tour had a live guide, but was underwhelming and it it was long waits st the bus stops. Other tour companies came by far more often.

Great way to get your bearings. Our first day we just did circuits on the different routes and figured out our plan for day 2. Our tour guide, Angus was very entertaining and informative. Traffic was hectic but that is to be expected. We took the boat trip to Greenwich and back which was really interesting. Great value.

I have always recommended this tourist bus however my last experience was disappointing. We lost an hour of time waiting at the Buckingham Palace stop and the gentleman representing you was rude.
Our tour guides on bus was excellent as always, Faye especially.

What a fantastic day we had, the sun was out and we were able to get seats on the top deck, which was great.
It was a late birthday treat for my husband and also my mum's birthday on 21st April (the day that we joined the bus) which is also The Queen's birthday. We were lucky enough to be on The Dream Team's tour which is Mike the driver and Kevin the guide. Once Kevin found out it was mum's birthday he made a real fuss of her, getting the passengers to sing Happy Birthday and making her feel very special.
The knowledge that Kevin has is amazing and his rapport with the passengers could not be beaten. We had a great time and i would not hesitate to recommend your company and i feel sure that we will join one of the other tours in the future.

Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a great way to see the city. What was nice was the discount tickets that they offer to see museums. Would recommend.

We chose the blue route which was the longest route out of three you can do over 24 hours. As a UK resident I learnt a lot as well as enjoying a great tour around the best sites. The traffic can be an issue but you need to accept your going to get held up somewhere and don't let it ruin your enjoyment. The staff were all very helpful.

I had the 2 day package, I believe it was "deluxe" and included the night tour. Day 1 was pretty much flawless. I never had to wait too long for a bus and the routes were easy to understand. The night tour was miserable. There were not many of the sites that were lit up well, and it was extremely cold (end of August). Everyone on the bus looked miserable and there were many comments about wasting the evening with little to see. Day 2 was okay at first but then there was 1 stop that was closed so I walked a good distance to the next stop in the direction I wanted to go. A new bus was supposed to come by every 10 minutes (20 at the most). I stood there for 45 minutes and saw 2 buses go by as "out of service" before the next bus came by completely packed with barely any standing room. It looked like they took 2 buses out of service to prepare for evening tours or something as we passed the 2 buses almost immediately on the street once we started going. The other tour providers had multiple buses go by us while we waited wondering if we should just walk or keep waiting. Walking would have been much easier on our feet than standing still and being frustrated for 45 minutes.

The tour was great. The drivers were helpful. The narration was very informative. However, when we got the to the Tower stop, we wanted to take the cruise on the Thames. We asked the man standing there if we could get our tickets for the boat. He waved us away and told us to go to the pier. We did so and were told we needed the printed tickets. We went back to the bus stop and were scolded for not being patient?! As a result of this delay, there were no spots outside to view the tour. Very disappointing and hugely frustrating.

Really good service and ideal for seeing the whole city's sights. The onboard audio tour was very informative and the free ferry ride was a perfect addition. The various discounts were handy but the buying of tickets for other attractions could have been a bit more informative. We were told that we would be able to enter Madam Tussaud's via the 'express' door but we were standing for 45 mins watching the other queues going in. However, this is not the fault of the tour.
I would recommend this tour to my friends & family. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the price paid for four of us was really good value. If you're only in London for a day or two it really is the best way to get around if you don't know how to get around on the tube or you're a stranger to the city. We constantly visit London but this was the first time we used the tour. It certainly won't be our last. Really well done.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Good narrators on the bus and on the Thames boat ride. HOWEVER, several hop-on bus stops are not marked in any way. Using their (poorly drawn) map, we guessed where the stop was, but were off by a bit. When the bus stopped, we ran over to it. The driver clearly saw us coming and waving, but literally closed the door in our face, looked at us and shrugged as he drove away with a half-empty bus. We had to wait 30 minutes for the next bus. Later that day, the exact same thing happened at another stop with a different driver. It seems that their drivers don't like their customers and prefer to drive off and leave you behind. This is inexcusable behavior. Their tickets are very expensive and of questionable value. You have a reason get to expect courtesy and respect. Big Bus Tours is the OPPOSITE of that. Take my advice – DO NOT USE THIS BUS SERVICE.

Very nice. Good content at the audio guise. I would advise adding a m贸bile roof in all buses since it rains every time at Lo don.

Fantastic experience when in motion. I took a 2 day pass and am glad that I did as one day would not have been enough. There were times that we had long waits for buses that were not running at the stated frequency. What was very frustrating was later in the afternoon when the passenger swop-out session happens at the Hyde Park stop. It would appear that Big Bus is trying to remove buses from circulation as quickly as possible. We were swopped from bus to bus three times, wasted 40 minutes and were subjected to disorganized chaos.
