Spent $8500 in 2 months on their website, 3 months later broken TV,(reported in December a few days after having it) still waiting on replacement, 1/2 of a table that was ordered in Jan sitting in my kitchen with parts all over it. Worst customer service ever! Will never shop there again, Filed BBB and emailed corporate offices. We'll see if anyone cares. Next stop legal and the media! Check out their BBB and other reviews – Do Not Shop at this company!

If I could give this store ZERO stars, I certainly would. To start, upon the initial delivery, half of the items to be delivered were broken & were not even brought off the truck. The second delivery was then scheduled for a WEEK LATER, bear in mind this is in a brand new home. The delivery was then delayed another several days. A text message alerted me that my delivery was then to be believed a day earlier & the delivery guy indicated it was for a PICK UP!!!! How can you run an organization this way? Poor customer service, poor all around . I deeply regret anything from this organization & will NEVER purchase anything from this organization again. My couch was purchased from Coconis, just down the road & clearly we should have purchased all the other items there too. Worst purchasing experience I have had in my entire life.

We had a GREAT experience at the Big Sandy Superstore located on Polaris Parkway! My husband and I have been looking for a new mattress for our bed and went to the mattress stores in the area and just weren鈥檛 finding anything we liked and weren鈥檛 impressed with the sales pitch we were given store after store. Driving toward the mall, we happened to see the Bog Sandy Superstore and thought we would stop in on the off chance that they might have some mattresses. We were right away impressed with the wide selection of mattresses that we came across and how helpful all the information presented at each bed was for us to read over. We were approached by a salesman, Tom, and he asked what we were looking for and how he could help but then actually let us continue searching and try out the different beds without hounding us with the usual sale pitch we had encountered at every other mattress store. When we had a question, Tom was right there to answer and researched any and all information we needed and was extremely friendly and helpful! We found the bed we wanted for the right price and couldn鈥檛 be happier! Tom did a wonderful job helping us find exactly what we needed! We will definitely be going back and refer our friends and family as well!!

I bought a recliner from Big Sandy. It lasted 3 weeks and the mechanism underneath broke now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a replacement part and then schedule a technician to come fix my chair. If it breaks within a month I would think they would just gave you another chair I will never return to Big Sandy

I had the most awesome customer service experience at the Big Sandy Store at Polaris with Tom in the Mattress Department & with Brandon at the Dublin Location. Tom was very compassionate in helping me with my needs of getting a mattress and a adjustable base within my budget and the style of mattress I wanted. Unfortunately, the mattress & adjustable base I wanted was not within my budget. During my time with Tom, I shared some very personal experiences (divorce) and Tom gave me some encouraging words. After further conversations with Tom. He said let me call our Sawmill store and he talked with the mattress salesman named Brandon. Tom ended up emailing Brandon my mattress & adjustable bed wants and he sent me out to the Sawmill location to check out close out mattress & adjustable bed frame that were still available at that location. When I entered the Sawmill bed department, Brandon greeted me and again I received the same compassionate outstanding customer service. Brandon was able to get me a mattress & adjustable base to my liking within my budget. In fact the mattress exceeded my expectations. These 2 guys, Tom & Brandon should be awarded for their AWESOME COMPASSIONATE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I look forward to repeat business with Big Sandy.

We bought a Flexsteel sofa and loveseat with power reclining on September 9 2017. Over time the seat on the loveseat that my wife sat on began to sink down around six inches. We contacted Big Sandy's service department and a repairman came out. The repairman said the seat would have to be replaced. And that Flexsteel will not replace the seat. I contacted Flexsteel Customer Service and was told there is a repair kit that replaces springs and adds Foam-Enhancing Pads. I sent a copy of the Email with a repairman to give to Customer Service. Eventually a repairman came out and told us that no such repair kit exists. The repairman added poly fill not only to the loveseat mentioned above but also to the sofa seat that I sit on. Both seats are very uncomfortable. Poly fill will eventually wear down so it is not effective for the long haul. Big Sandy contacted us several weeks ago and said the parts (poly fill) were in.That is the last time we have heard from them.

Courteous staff to help find exactly what we needed, not just wanted. There was a lot of info to search with and plenty of payment options to fit our budget. One-stop shop so we did not have to go to multiple stores!

Very happy with my big sandy experience! When I went into the store to purchase my couch the employees were so friendly and very helpful. They also told me they could get my delivery out the next day! The drivers were awesome, they were fast and very polite. I would definitely recommend big sandy to friends & family.

I just bought a brand new Kitchen Package from my Big Sandy Superstore in Parkersburg WV. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and patient as we looked at several different options. We had been to a couple other places and we could barely get anyone to even talk to us. Plus the prices at Big Sandy seemed to be by far the lowest and I Got a Free TV with my new kitchen! I will definitely be back for my new living room furniture in a few months!!!

Had a great experience at the south point Big Sandy store. Got a great deal on a lg kitchen package and they even guaranteed my price through Black Friday! Everything was delivered and hooked up on Saturday and went just as smooth as my experience in the store. Thank you for the great experience.

I will never again buy another product from Big Sandy Superstore,Lancaster Ohio ! We purchased our washer/dryer set on May 7 through their customer service representative Doug Green. We qualified for white glove delivery service in our package and thought we would be getting our set the next day. That never happened. Not a soul contacted us from the store for several weeks. I called in to speak with Lori Spicer their Operations Manager. She apologized and promised that her customer service guy would call us. They refunded us a small amount for our trouble on 5/19. They only had the dryer available because the washer was STILL not available 12 days after purchase. So we had the dryer delivered on May 26 at 630pm. Today is June 5 and we STILL have not heard from our customer service rep Doug Green or the Operations Manager Lori Spicer. I called her tonight and they still don't have our washer available for delivery. It has been 30 days and we still don't have the damn washing machine. They now call us and say the soonest is Saturday for delivery. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LIARS and CHEATS. THEY do not do customer service and they could care less about your delivery.

I decided to return to Big Sandy Superstore after having a favorable experience furnishing our living and dining rooms in 2016. We ordered a bedframe through the Lancaster store through a different salesman. Upon delivery, we were disappointed to see that our headboard was not present and that the footboard was significantly damaged. As we had paid over $100 for white glove delivery service, we did not accept the order. We reached out to our salesman, Bruce H., who informed us the bedframe was on backorder, and would likely not be in for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I was the one who reached back out to the salesman, and was surprised to hear that it was in stock (I felt that he should have been the one contacting me at this point). Finally, our bedframe arrived in good condition, but had additional bed rails and an additional headboard attached to the order?…An additional 4 days passed after delivery, and I received a call from our salesman, Bruce H., stating that our headboard was now in stock. I should NOT have to be the one informing him that our delivery has already occurred! Unfortunately, we will have to seriously thing twice about returning to Big Sandy in the future or recommending it to friends or family.

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH

We shopped the chair they said was their top brand. The sales person said that it will become an heirloom, passed from generation to generation. It certainly looked the part and was comfortable indeed. But the chair delivered was anything but comfortable. The seat was hard and not at all like the one in the store. When we complained they sent a young man out to change the pad but nothing changed. When we told their customer service representative we were told they could not change it again unless we paid a $50 fee. The chair cost nearly $2000. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will not deal with this company again and I will speak all the ill will I can about them to all who will listen. I invite all prospective customers to take their business elsewhere.

My husband and I had been looking into upgrading several items in our home (couches, bedroom set plus mattress) and decided to see what Big Sandy had to offer. We found bedroom and living room sets that we loved, and compromised on a new King sized mattress with power base. Paid for warranties on all of the electronic components (the couch we ordered had power reclining), accepted the mattress cover that the saleswoman Mary Ellen insisted we have- we aren't hard customers to work with. Our purchase was finalized on Oct 31st, and delivery of our couch and loveseat was made a week later on Nov 7th; our bedroom furniture was to be scheduled later once all of the pieces for it were in stock (supposedly by Nov 10th). Called the Dublin, OH store on the 10th to check the status and spoke with Mary Ellen. She said she would have to check on the items and would call me back on Monday the 13th. Monday came and went…finally became frustrated enough to call back a week after our initial call on Friday the 17th and spoke to our other salesperson, Nathan. I explained that we just wanted to know if all the pieces for our bedroom set were in and, if so, schedule delivery. He said no problem and we were scheduled for the following Saturday the 25th. Come delivery day, the deliverymen arrive promptly and get everything assembled in our bedroom; the furniture is beautiful, mattress is amazingly comfortable, no complaints there. We go to sign off on the delivery and the deliveryman mentions that our receipt shows that we bought a power base to go with our storage unit bed frame (it has drawer storage underneath). He tells us that not only does he not have the power base on his truck, but that his superiors just had a meeting about pairing storage beds with power bases and how they aren't always compatible; supposedly Big Sandy's employees were also a part of this meeting. We called the Dublin, OH store again and my husband spoke with Mary Ellen about our concerns: 1.) that we were not made aware that our bed frame may not be compatible with the power base, and 2.) that we were under the impression that the base was to be delivered with our remaining furniture. Her response was an off-the-cuff remark about how the delivery drivers are not salespeople and have no idea what they are talking about, and that she would look into the issue with our power base delivery and call us back the following Monday (Nov 27th). I am now writing this on Dec 12th, two full weeks after we were told we would be contacted. My husband and I agreed that we no longer cared to have the power base for our bed (it is comfortable as it is) and I called and had it removed from our order by a gentleman named Toby. We are hoping that he, if anyone, will actually follow up as he said he would and send email confirmation that the power base was cancelled and the charge removed from our credit card.

Long story short: we love our new furniture and are happy with it, but the impression we have walked away with is that, once they have your money, the salespeople at Big Sandy don't care in the slightest about following up on any issues. Very disappointing as we like their products, but may need to look elsewhere for future purchases.

Unfortunately, our LG tv (1.5 yrs old) stopped working purchased from Big Sandy in Portsmouth, OH. We have the Big Sandy extended warranty – so I called to get the tv repaired. It has been over 5 weeks at this point and the tv still does not work. Between being short staffed on repair personnel and ordering electronic parts it will probably be close to 7 weeks by the time the repairman comes back out for the third time. We are very disappointed in the length of time they expect a customer to wait for repair service.

Had a great experience at the new Zanesville Ohio store. I went in to get a certain kind of bed for my mom. Met Randy Karns , a very knowledgeable person of the bedding department. This fellow knows a lot about customer care. We had a problem with the bed, nothing big, but he came out on his time and took care of the problem, Immediately. This store has great people.

We ordered a mattress with the power base on July 24, 2017. It was from the LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. The salesman Matt didn't tell us that the base was on backorder. So as of Monday August7,2017, I called and that's when we were informed that it wouldn't be in until the middle of August. So we actually UPGRADED the base ourselves so we could have a bed. They didn't offer us any discounts or anything. They set a time for it to be delivered today, 08/10/2017, between 10:00 -2:00. They called us at 8:00 am to tell us they were on their way. We told them we had just woke up and to wait until the scheduled time. They kept calling us asking if we were ready. They arrived at 9:40. They were so rude. We paid to have our old mattress taken away. It has been sitting outside under trees and in a driveway for a month because of waiting on our order. The 2 boys took them out to the curb and then said there were bedbugs on it! The edges had gotten really dirty because of the timeframe we waited, there was a gnat on it, at that point i became really discussted that they would assume that it was a bedbug. So i even agreed to throw them out myself so we would just have a bed! They said they wouldn't take them back and was just going to leave the new bed and base in our living room unassembled. My husband and I were really upset at this point. So much for "white glove" delivery. So we refused it. They started getting really mouthy with us. I them tried to call the store 3 times with NO ANSWER AT ALL! So I called the corporate headquarters and all I got was a women named Kathy on voicemail. I left a message. I then called 740-574-2113. I got this number off the internet for CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR, left a message, again no return calls. It is now 3:15 pm and have not received any return calls. I went to a local furniture store and bought a better mattress and base and it's being delivered TODAY! So they just lost a customer that has already spent $3000.00 on a washer and dryer set. I should have learned then because the delivery on that was awful to. My son and husband ended up installing that. This has been the most disappointing buy I have ever gone through! Especially when we were willing to spend more money than the original purchase and didn't get any deductions for our inconveniences. We haven't had a bed for almost a month because of the store. I am disabled and really needed it to sleep on! Now they have my downpayment, and all I have is a mattress cover that has not been used. They still will NOT ANSWER THE PHONE! I assume they have caller ID. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING LANCASTER, OHIO.

We had the worst experience ever at the Dublin, OH store, we went in and spent over $4800.00 this past Sunday and then the next day I found the washer cheaper then what it was sold to me and we back tonight and they would not honor their deal of buy the washer get the dryer 1/2 price deal like we done. This store is a joke, do not go here. Their match it guarantee is a the biggest joke ever! I made them give me all my money back and they lost that sale. Don't ever deal with the rudest salesman ever in appliances, his name is Shawn I think. I will be blowing their corporate office this morning explaining what happened. Please again DO NOT go to this store! It is just like getting haggled by a used car salesman. I have never been disrespected by a salesman like this place did.

I recently purchased an expensive mattress and adjustable base from the Dublin Oh Big Sandy. The sales person seemed to be very knowledgeable and I ended up spending a little over $4,000.00. She was very insistent that I purchase a Ver Tex mattress protector to go with my new mattress stating all the reasons it was so wonderful. The pad was $200. I was a bit taken aback when she told me the price but she insisted it would make the bed even more comfortable.
I had to really struggle to get the pad on the bed. With the adjustable base there are brackets and the pad would not go under the mattress on the corners. Next I attempted to put sheets on the bed. The edges of the mattress pad are so slippery that the sheets would not stay on. I was so frustrated that I put the whole thing back in the package and decided to return it.
Imagine my surprise when I was told that mattress pads are not returnable. I DIDN'T EVEN USE IT! The sales person neglected to mention that I was paying a rediculous amount of money for this item but could not return it.
Now I have a very expensive mattress pad and have no use for it. I bought a new one at Costco. I got the wrong size and had to exchange it. No questions asked. It works great and it only cost $27.00. Lesson learned.
I am a very unhappy customer and intend to let everyone know about my experience.
UPDATE
I sent this review to Big Sandy headquarters. I quickly received a response and was told they would make an exception to their "no return" policy. I took the pad back to the store and received a full refund.

I would just like to share with anyone paying for white glove delivery service.

I had several holes drilled in the bottom of our cabinets when they tried to install the microwave, then they drilled a hole through the center of the cabinet to plug in the electric cord, rendering that cabinet useless (. Also the installer left sawdust everywhere.

The refrigerator was in place but not plugged in. All it took was taking the adapter off the old fridge plug and plugging it in but that must have proved daunting. After I plugged the fridge in, we tried to use the water tap and no water. I went to the basement and water was everywhere as the tap line was leaking I tightened it and turned the water on. There is still no ice being produced even though there is no kink in the line and the ice machine is on.

The delivery men also put a large gouge in our back hallway wall along with dislodging the threshold leading into our garage from the laundry room.

I have called Big Sandy Customer Service twice in two days and have left messages with the District Manager with no return call. I asked today if there was anyone else I could speak with and Cathy the operator said no one else was there. I find hit hard to believe a company this size have no executives on site.

We have purchased 2 bedroom suites, a living room suite, big screen tv and a kitchen appliance package from Big Sandy's and both times we had to remind the sales staff that we were due a promotional gift card. The second time I had to involve the store management to receive the promotional items promised in the store's flyer.

Be forewarned of shopping at Big Sandy's Superstore.

Wes Lockhart and Donna were exceptionally helpful with my boyfriend and I as we had a confusing mix up and had to cancel some items from another store and pick new items out. They were very patient and helped us get everything we wanted for the best deal! Definitely recommend shopping here with them at the Ashalnd Ky store!

VERY DISAPPOINTING! Big Sandy and their manufacturers have done little to solve my problem. I purchased a leather Catnapper brand sofa/recliner and it is HORRIBLE! We have NO children and NO pets and only one person sits on this who weighs about 220 pounds. That is hardly out of range for an average adult. Anyway, the cushions have sagged and sunk so badly that it has caused hip pain and chiropractor visits. We bought the extended warranty plan and have now had our FOURTH visit with a repair technician in just over the one year purchase. The last visit was 2 months ago and parts were ordered. Of course these parts, after 2 months, are still "on their way" and not scheduled to arrive until July 7. Big Sandy said there is nothing that THEY can do but that it is up to the manufacturer. I disagree . . . I believe Big Sandy has the means and wherewithal to give me a merchandise credit to buy something of value at their store, rather than this piece of junk! Then they can haggle with the manufacturer. Surely with the volume which Big Sandy does, the manufacturer would work with them.

My boyfriend and I had gone into the Portsmouth, OH Big Sandy location in search for a couch. We are first time home buyers so it was very stressful looking at all of the options. Ashleigh Bender was the associate who made our search less complicated, and we were able to leave that same day with a brand new couch. Thank you Big Sandy for your wide variety, and Ashleigh for you're genuine costumer service! We will be back for any other household needs!

I've dealt with Eunice on numerous occasions in Chesapeake, Ohio and she hands down is the best sales clerk you have! She goes over and beyond for her customers! Highly recommend dealing with her to our family and friends!?
