My experience to date with Bluehaven pools is disappointing. I have engaged their services last year and am still waiting for completion. For the past few months I have had (and still do) all the pool sand which was excavated, left as is after confirming that it would be either spread out or they would arrange someone to remove it at our cost – none happened. After concreting the pool and spa, nothing much has been done to date. I was told that it would all be completed before I went overseas end June, but it never happened. I have been back since 20 July and my husband has left several messages with no response to emails. Communication has been poor and I am considering getting the pool finished elsewhere. This has caused huge inconveniences as important birthday parties planned at our home, like my daughter's 21st, had to be cancelled as a result of the mess and unfinished pool.

Sales representative Andrew Nemes just made a call to our house. Apart from being completely unprofessional and unprepared he was offensive to the point where I felt violated in my own home.

I called to leave a formal complaint but could only get through to message bank.

After reading the several complaints below all naming Andrew Nemes I am surprised he is still employed by the company.

Worst experience ever! Whole process has been a nightmare from the beginning when sales person Andrew Nemes, turns up on my house on a Saturday morning saying that he is the sales manager and is short staffed so he has to work on Saturdays.

BE AWARE because this man is able to turn the $30,000 concrete pool they advertise into a $70,000 nightmare you'll regret all your life.

In contrast to all those five star reviews you find on the web, that you can clearly see are not genuine, this company has the worst communication and the poorest customer service.

This guys have a history of wrong doing for years, Fair Trading received 567 complaints in the period from 1 January 2000 to 1 July 2008. They've been taken to CONSUMER TRADER AND TENANCY TRIBUNAL a few times, so BE CAREFUL do your homework before signing anything. All is publicly available on the web.

They will be very fast in taking your money, they won't care about what is written in the contract you sign all they seem to care is about your hard earned dollars.

Billy, my project manager, even had the courage to tell me he won鈥檛 finish the job after I refused to pay my third installment because they were not finished with works meant to be done under that progress claim.

He verbally abused me and threatened me over the phone and I end up having no project manager assigned.

I've been dealing with CEO, Remonda Martinez, but even her doesn't seem to care about their customers either. They are on breach of my contract. Construction time was meant to be 12 weeks as per contract specs, but they're over in more than 8 weeks already.

I've formally complained in writing to them to get them to finish the job they started so long ago and that I've paid them to do, but still waiting.

Also sent complaint to Fair Trading and SPASA. People from SPASA called me to tell me they've contacted Ms. Martinez but even with that pressure nothing had happened.

Ms Martinez has promised three times that job is going to be finished but to date I still with a $70,000 pit in my backyard. Last time she promised that all was going to be finished by 18/11/2016 was on 11/11/16, but to date no one has turned up on site to finish.

For Your own sake, when looking for Pool Builders and Designers, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY YOU"LL REGRET IT.

He insisted on calling in at 6.00pm Saturday evening.

Same as the other reviews: a hard sell, offer of a dramatic discount & a promise to commence the job on the following Monday – all with one condition; immediate signing of the contract.

Demonstrating a sales technique not unlike that of a '70s aluminium home-siding shonk it was difficult to look beyond the comedy of it all. Nevertheless, I saw him off the premises telling him I wanted until Sunday to "research the matter".

He rang about 9.00am Sunday. I informed him of his & the company's less than credible Trustpilot profiles. "They all hate us, just like the big 4 banks", he bleated. I terminated with advice to him that at least said banks are not in liquidation.

Called blue haven for a quote, their manager Andrew Nemes turned up on a Sunday, high pressure sales man full of bs. When price was given he kept pushing for a deposit, when we refused and asked for more time to review all our quotes, he got ugly and aggressive saying we wasted his time. I got suspicious and asked my husband to keep him company while I checked him out on line. I came across this sight and read a review from another customer about the same man but he paid him $8,000 deposit, never heard from them took them to court won but did not see a penny as bluehaven was in liquidation. That is when we told him to leave our property or we call the authorities. Got off lucky.

This is a warning to anyone considering having an in-ground pool constructed by Blue Haven Pools, I wanted to get 3 quotes for an in-ground pool and the first company that came to mind was Blue Haven Pools, I filled out an inquiry on their website and a couple of days later received a call from them to arrange an appointment for a quote at my home, the person who turned up 14 December, 2013 was the Sales Manager Andrew NEMES of Blue Haven Constructions P/L (now in Liquidation), he was very high pressure and would not take no for an answer, even when I said that I still wanted two other quotes before I made a decision, he replied "I don't believe in this getting three quotes wouldn't you like to be enjoying your pool next summer", and "Blue Haven Pools can offer you things no other pool company can" and then he said "Alan what are you worried about you have a 7 Day Cooling-Off Period" and I took his word for it, needless to say when I tried to invoke that 7 Day Cooling-Off Period, he first avoided my phone calls, SMS and e-mails, and then when I spoke to him on my neighbours phone (only reason he answered me) refused to give me my money back.

Took the matter to Fair Trading NSW who tried to make contact with them but got no response at all, arranged a Conciliation hearing at NCAT, unable to reach an agreement with them and set down for a hearing 19 May, 2014 but nobody turned up from Blue Haven Constructions P/L. the NCAT Court made an Order in my favour that the company had to pay me back the full amount $8,050.00 immediately, which Blue Haven Constructions P/L completely ignored, I had the Order enforced by the Local Court all to no avail, the end result was that I later found out that the company went into Liquidation, and no money was available to pay me back.

I sent an email to the parent company about my experience but of course received no reply from them, they take no responsibility even though it was on their website that I requested the quote in the first place. If you come across the smooth-talking Andrew NEMES avoid him like the plague, he is just a rip-off merchant and a con-man.
