I booked through groupon for a birthday so paid for several sessions for the group of kids to go together. However, just as out date was coming up we were told that they had been locked out of the field and were seeking legal advice, but asked to fill out a form to select a new date for 2012. I have not received any more information, they are not answering phone calls or email messages.

I feel that I have been totally conned out of a reasonable amount of money, as well as having a group of upset kids as well as the birthday boy who we had to arrange a back up plan at the last minute.

I booked with them through Groupon for a friends birthday. It was all booked and arranged until the day before we were due to go when they cancelled the appointment stating that they had technical issues with faulty harnesses. This they completely blamed on a manufacturer.
I rearranged our appointment for them to cancel again stating they had a new booking system and everything had to be cancelled. They also stopped taking bookings for weekday appointments citing complaints from neighbours of the site. The third time I arranged the appointment everything seemed to be going well. They then cancelled every single booking for the rest of the year siting bad weather (at the time of cancelling we were in a heat wave) and stating that they had been locked out of their field (yet again something else that is apparently beyond their control as with everything with them!)
They asked for people to fill out (yet another) form on their website stating if you wanted to hold voucher rebook for next year or refund. All queries they assured would be dealt with within 72 hours. Three weeks on and no reply to my 3 emails and no refund. Despite all of their initial problems they kept advertising on groupon without fulfilling their obligations to existing customers. I think they are con artists and I would strongly advise everyone to avoid like the plague.

I booked a body zorbing experience through Groupon.

Our time slot was 1pm. We arrived at 12.50pm, registered and stood in what seemed a very large queue. When I asked the young member of staff whether there was a delay she told me "oh no you will be up there in ten minutes." nearly one hour later we were still in the queue which had not diminished in size at all over this time!

We had soon found ourselves still stuck in the line for over one hour, when I asked the girl again she said "erm I can't tell you when you will be up there exactly but all those people are before you." As the groups were to take one hour each and we were behind at least 25 people in the queue we realised that we would be waiting at least another hour on top of the time we had already waited, meaning that our booked one hour zorbing experience due to start at 1pm was actually a 3 + hour queuing experience. After over an hour our patience ran out and we left.

The day was a complete waste of time, we were mislead and extremely disappointed.

I have since learnt that this company have had many problems. I would strongly advise DO NOT BODY ZORB WITH THIS COMPANY!!
