Only giving a 1 star rating because there is no zero rating to select!! This company states they have not received my damage claim which I sent numerous times & made followup phone calls. I even sent copies of my emails to the supervisor, yet still no resolution & this is almost 2 months from ny initial attempt to get a resolution or refund. Very frustrating company to deal with; I feel scammed!!

I used Bongo for years until fedex took them over.
After that their whole service went down hill and the fees skyrocketed.
I found 2 decker pack saddles on ebay.com bought them etc to australia. When they arrived customs asked for proof of purchase which I duly sent. Next I hear is they sent back to the states and were discarded. Bulldust I believe someone there received 2 free decker pack saddles. I complained before they were sent back, no reply and for over 6 months until I have a small percent refund. I lost equivalent to $1000 au.
I use another company now.
Before fedex took over no complaints now I would not use them.

I paid express shipping and after the item arrival to my country (it was a medical item for my ill mother) they want me to go to pick it up at the airport?? try to call them on the phone waiting for over 1 hour listening to the music and how "important are costumers fr them" and nobody answer the phone!!! NEVER AGAIN I WILL BUY FROM THIS PLACE,

I lost about EUR 75 with them (Fedex Cross Border)
I ordered an item from Overstock US for a delivery in France. Normally, I don't use this kind of global shipping company which includes customs clearance at the destination country, as I prefer paying an invoice with details for customs clearance issued by a local delivery company who really paid customs duties, etc to the French customs office, but no other options were offered. So, I placed an order with Fedex Cross Border.
Of course, it did not arrive on the scheduled day. I waited a few days, and finally, the tracking said it was delivered. As I did not see any delivery man, and as did not find anything in my mail box, I called their customer service in USA, and they told me my item was lost. So, I followed their instructions to make a claim. A few days later, I got their email saying that my claim was refused as the item was delivered and signed for. So, I asked for a proof of delivery with my signature, but of course I have not heard from them since.
For me there are 2 possibilities.
1) Someone at the delivery facility scanned it as delivered (and signed it) and stole it.
2) They delivered it to the wrong address (and the wrong person signed it)
If they delivered it without signature to someone else. Then, they started by lying that it was delivered and signed for. And, if it was really signed for, they should be able to find the person who signed it, and reclaim the item and give it to me.
I have bought many items since many years from USA, China, Europe, but this is the first time that the tracked item was lost.
And they refused my claim, whereas I paid a small amount for damage and loss. I will never use this company again, and I recommend not using this company.
PS: Finally, I got my money back from Paypal. Thank you, Paypal!!

They threw my stuff away even before the due date and refused to compensate, they said sue us if you can, I hate this company. I have suffered many losses due to him.

I had to get one big box with all my bought items in one place, but instead of that I got two separate boxes in different delivery time and with different invoces.
And because of different invoices I had to pay to my local customs huge amount of money.
You should give me a compensation for paying twice for customs fees!

Well, I was dumb enough to text bongo and I had no idea it cost 5$ per message and that's all the credit I had left on my phone I'm actually upset now because I'm not the richest person ever and I don't have enough money to get another topup I wish I could take it back but I can't I'm seriously upset??

Update: I've upgraded this review from one star to three. A few hours after this post, and me sending an email to their support department, FedEx Cross Border Customer Care Team contacted me and asked the appropriate and intelligent questions regarding my bitcoin transaction. I responded immediately and am very grateful that they were the first to address inquiries I made to each party, including Overstock.com, Bongo International, and Coinbase. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved promptly. I'll sleep better knowing action is being taken. Kudos to FedEx Cross Border Customer Care Team!

I've been a customer of Overstock.com for more than a decade. I love their option to pay with bitcoin. I have never had an issue with them. Unfortunately, they use Bongo International as their third-party shipping to Costa Rica. I completed the order, filled out the required shipping information, and read their terms of service completely before processing a payment of more than $4,000 (total order, shipping, and port fees – door to door) for a total of $1,200 in merchandise. Bongo International accepted the payment of 1.58855200 BTC and even provided a pop-up stating the payment had been detected, but that processing could take up to an hour. It's been seven hours. I have neither received any receipt nor does Overstock.com have any record of the transaction taking place. All of my items are still in my shopping cart. I found their Facebook page and sent a message and was given an email to create a support ticket. I'm told it can take up to 72 hours to receive an answer.
After reading these reviews, I'm terrified. I've been saving up for this purchase for months. My money is gone. No one has confirmation of receipt. There is no transaction ID or order confirmation. I'm hoping Coinbase can help as I've reached out to them in hopes they can confirm the transaction.
How does this happen? How can a website like Overstock.com trust this company?
My best best for now is to stay in touch with Coinbase. This is a horrible service. If a company processes a payment, they should at least send a receipt. So disappointed.
My ticket at Bongo International is #55892794E-3A05D7AD. I will continue to follow up with this post until the issue is resolved.

This is a Big fraud company! Suddenly they can't ship to Greenland, as they used to and refuse to return our goods to where we ordered it. We just lost our money and they couldn't care less! Of course, they know we can't touch them so they don't give a f…!
Hope they are proud of them selves!

1. I got notification of item received on my mailbox 338885. I paid the shipment to my country and less than an hour they close my account without notification (they suspected me doing fraud!!)
2. They need my seller to call them and ask to return my item.
3. My seller call them and send label *******33610 (FedEx Ground) on Nov 22, 2016 for return package.
4. They never return my item and they won't reply your email !!!!

It was a Christmas gift to my wife, quite expensive made-to-order art tool, found only in US. Ordered in advance it arrived to my BONGO account just in time. I got nice pics of the item, that was great. I paid on-line the shipment to France where I live and was really happy when I saw the expecting arrival date as Dec 16th. Everything was easy and fast. But wait
Next day my bank said the payment was successfully cancelled. I called Bongo for explanations. The person didnt know why they cancelled, as they usually didnt explain (who they?). He promised to check and get back to me (of course, he did not). I thought that I used my Russian credit card while in France, that might cause the alarm. I gave it another try and paid with my French card. The delivery date became Dec 19th, ok, still enough time before Christmas
After one hour Bongo blocked my account I called them again. The person said they might found something suspicious in my activity and blocked my account.
Well, I opened a ticket asking to reopen my account and provided all proofs of my identity, my address and even a copy of my credit card I used for the payment. No response. When I called them again it was said that they usually dont reopen accounts. The only option was to ask the e-shop to send a return label then Bongo could send the product back to e-shop. If not, after 30 days they destroy the parcel. What the hell?
Your NAME on the box you ALREADY purchased, your NAME in the shipping address and payment by your NAMED credit card may look so suspicious to Bongo that they block you.
Their member service is absolutely not professional and looks totally disconnected from the rest of the company (outsourced?). They always refer to some magic they.
Think twice when choosing them. This is worse than a lottery. In a lottery you at least know the rules.
Now I am negotiating with the vendor about this return label and feel totally defrauded.

I have purchased number of items and forwarded to bongo. They have signed and received all lightings. But few items lost when it deliver to my house.

It takes times to search again and again but my items still not found.

I am open a case claiming lost now and thats not totally the meaning of money. Its about trustful and safety. The basic need of a freight forwarding company.

How come the photo of box shown on the delived items but i cant see it when it arrived?

Tried to search for summary of invoice for breakdown of charges but couldnt find it from their website except final charges. This breakdown was shown to you before posting…but once you posted it for shipment..this breakdown is no longer can be retreived. Luckily i managed to take down notes on some info/charges made. I've made 3 purchases and delivery was made to Bongo on different days. After all 3 parcels arrived..Fedex/Bongo shipped out these 3 parcel together from US to Malaysia. Actual weight for each item is 2.9 Ib, 1.0 Ib and 3.3 Ib respectively. However dimensional weight is used for each parcel to derive much higher weight of 5 Ib, 3 Ib and 4 Ib respectively instead of new combined weight or new dimensional weight after all these 3 parcels are packed together into new box…a whopping 67% increase in weight charged by Bongo/Fedex. What a rip off.. shipping charges of close to USD200 is almost as expensive as items purchased. Thats not all..they did consolidate it and pack it into just one box with additional 0.5 Ib weight for this new box..and yet charging me using each dimensional weight. I dont see a point of consolidating all purchases into one shipment later if they are still charging me using each parcel instead of total weight or final dimensional weight after repacking it into a new box. On top of this charge..there are USD5 charge per box stored at their warehouse which i am not aware when signing up as a member. This would my first and the last time i'm going to subscribe this service and wouldnt recommend it to my friends.

Here are my reasons:
1. The do not publicize that they offer NO other shipping options other than FedEx express, so you end up paying 5x the cost of the item
2. When you try to ship the item to a competitor in US, they close your account (without notification), claiming it's fraudulent
3. When you try to ask them what happened on FB, they push you off to another department, which send you an email, but when you respond to this email there is nothing – no attempt to resolve the problem.
4. When you finally establish that a return procedure for the item you purchased exists, it requires (this is funny), that the SHIPPER contact BONGO to arrange a return (this is with return form attached to the package).
5. They won't respond to any messages from you, apart from social media, as the account is "Fraudulent"
To conclude: never. ever. have I seen service SO bad.

P.S. Bongo subsequently did help me file a return rather professionally. But that's the only adequate interaction I got from the company.
