Bosch is the worst refrigerator we have ever owned. It makes a high pitch sound periodically. When the motor runs it sounds like a car is running outside. Bosch warranty department did not listen to our concerns. Repair could not figure out what was causing it. Bosch does not stand behind their product.

Phoned customer services today and was met with a very rude woman. While trying to tell her what my problem was, told me to shut up as she was trying to note my details down, then when I proceeded afterwards to tell her that they had sent me the wrong part once again, she put the phone down on me. Ordered replacement bottom tray/basket as it has started rusting, send me the wrong "crockery basket" which I returned at my own cost, ordered the only other crockery basket available on their website for my model, wrong again, no space for the cutlery basket. She argued that that was the only part available and I had to fit my cutlery basket into that, to which I replied that I would then only be able to get half of the plates in that I do now, at which point she hung up on me! Shame on you Bosch, get some decent customer service staff!

Bosch WTW87561GB, Tumble dryer, (Cost 拢572) worked fine when we purchased it, now leaves clothes very damp after 3.5 hours, we had an engineer who checked it all out by reading data on an iPad removed a tiny amount of fluff, no charge, he went, we out the machine on to dry 2 hand towels 1 tea towel, 1 flannel 1 dishcloth 1 pair of pants 1 pair of socks 3.5 hours still damp, so we tell Bosch it still is not working correctly, the patronising manager told us even under warranty if they (Bosch) don't find anything wrong it could be a 拢99 call out charge, so we are stuck with a product that does not do what it should, or call an engineer and if he says nothing wrong, we could have a 拢99.00 bill from Bosch
unfortunately they have lost my goodwill and future trade because they don't care about the customer.

My larder fridge, where do I start. Bought after much research with new kitchen in new house. Crisper runners fell off just after 2 year warranty ran out. Expensive repair. You have to get Bosch engineer even tho you can buy parts on line. One year guarantee on work. You guessed it. Broke one year and 1/2 after repair. My Toshiba freezer has worked beautifully for in excess of six years, despite move and storage. Grrrrrrr

I last wrote on here 9-6-20 about a groaning noise with my tumble dryer, engineer came yesterday 18-6-20 to try and fix it, he greased the bearings and left, but still not fixed, booked a fourth repair for next week, if this can not be fixed what happens next? , had this machine for 8 months from new.

I purchased a Bosch cooker heating ring. Simple to install, however the oven would heat up then fail part way through cooking. I called out a local electrical repair company who took several days to attend. They confirmed there was an intermittent fault with the new heating ring. The cost of this was 65 GBP including call out fee. Bosch merely credited the cost of the heating ring, no apology, they refused to pay the cost of repair. Bosch stated it was not installed by their engineers at a cost of 99 GBP plus parts for a simple job! The faulty product has caused my family a lot of inconvenience, wasted meals and ruined baking.

Bought a Bosch washing machine just over a year ago and am having to get repair man out not good after such a short time,so therefore would not recommend Bosch to anyone ,in shop they kept telling how good the make was well they got that wrong.

We bought the high end line of Bosch oven and speed oven back in 2018. They both have broken many times. Service is awful. I do not recommend it!

The code relates to a blocked filter, which is from socks somehow escaping from the drum and blocking the filter, it is not overfilled and always happens at the same time of the wash.
Even though the filter is easily situated at the front you cant actually open it without an engineer
Engineers take 6-8 days to show up
This has now happened 3 times in two months
The machine is 18 months old and outside its refund period
So we have spent alot of money on a machine which is now repeatedly doesnt work and leaves you with ruined clothes.
In a few months time we will have to pay for the engineer visits too
In 25 years I have never had a washing machine so bad
We bought this as its a trusted name, but obviously now cheap manufacturing shortcuts are being made.
I expect such a machine to last longer than 18 months !
Never buying Bosch again !
It takes 30 minutes to get through to a help centre who will only stall the problem with cheap fixes until the 2 year warranty is up.
Bosch are an absolute con , trading on a name that used to mean something
Do not buy Bosch , very expensive mistake

People, don't buy Bosch! I bought one of their top dishwashers, terrible. It is quite as advertised but I would rather have a little noise in exchange for a better design and cleaning. Almost every time something remains soiled. It is made cheaply, the plastic on the covered wire shelving splits and is now rusted. The adjustable placements on the racks are weak and often fall out of place and glasses tip over as the openings are to wide to keep glasses up right.
Watch for my stove top grate review, it's even better (worse)

Expensive part failure when just out of guarantee . 拢205 plus callout 拢99 . Bosch 'Customer Service ' not interested in helping in anyway .
An expensive product like this is expected to last at least 5 or 6 years not 2 . I would recommend purchasing from a different manufacturer .

We built a new home and moved in about 6 months ago. I selected Bosch for all my appliances. They are very sleek looking and their dishwasher is advertised as one of the quietest dishwashers made. This however is false advertisement and borders on duplicity. My Bosch dishwasher operates on the average of 61dB and not 39dB, when the dishwasher is being filled with water it is even louder but that is to be expected. I called Bosch and they scheduled a technician (not a Bosch technician) to review the problem. The technician added insulation to the kick-plate, which did nothing to lessen the noise. He also said it sounded pretty quiet according to his 36 years of experience with repairing dishwashers. The technician did not have a decibel meter to confirm the decibel levels. My husband used his decibel meter and the decibels presented were at 61 on average. That is a far cry from 39dB that Bosch touts for this dishwasher. I have had other dishwashers, less expensive, that have been much quieter. I am also less than happy that the technicians do not seem to take an interest in solving this problem. I did contact Bosch customer service once more and this time they sent one of their own Bosch technicians to review the loudness of the dishwasher. Evidently, there is nothing they can do to ameliorate this situation. The Bosch technician said that you cannot expect to get 39dB in your home as your home environment is very different from the testing environment (He also did not have a decibel meter). Wow, really!! I bought my Bosch dishwasher not only for its sleek look but for its whisper quiet sound. I will add that the dishwasher does clean very well. So if you want one that is very pretty and cleans well but so loud you cannot hear the television over the dishwasher, then this is the one for you! Very disappointed in Bosch and shame on them for advertising something that is not true, because when tested in a regular operating environment (your home) the decibel output does not even come close to meeting their test results!!

I always though Bosch were synonymous with innovation, quality and service, however:

On 5th April 2019, I purchased a Bosch Rotak 37LI from Just Lawnmowers (JL). It was 拢369 and I chose it because I wanted a high quality item. I used it 3 times before the motor stopped. JL referred me to Bosch because it was 6 weeks old. The service centre arranged collection on 20/05. I had to chase the item up and was unable to get any updates. On 31/05 I asked to make a formal complaint but was advised by customer service not to bother because it would not make any difference. I emailed Bosch with the complaint setting out my grievance but heard nothing. The lawnmower was returned to me on 06/06. No information was provided to explain what the issue was.

When I attempted to use it for the first time after the repair (3 days) the motor worked.. but the box flap was broken. I contacted Bosch service centre (not open over the weekend) who asked me to return the lawnmower for a second time. I asked about a loan mower… no chance!! I was told collection would be today 11/06 so stayed home. However the promised email with the Fedex label was not sent overnight. I contacted Bosch this morning and was told Fedex had not sent out a number of labels (apparently that's not the fault of Bosch). Post Office Parcels are to collect on 12/06. Collection instructions were sent at 10am.

However, at 2pm today (11/06) Fedex arrived to collect the item. They declined to take it because there was no label!! At 3pm I was sent a Fedex collection email??

Come on Bosch, not only have I purchased a poor quality item, but the situation has been aggravated by poor customer service and complacency. Your service centre places as many obstructions as possible in front of customers to avoid complaints. My guess is most people simply give up. In addition to the calls and unanswered emails there are the days lost at home. I really should not have to come onto a website to get access to complaints.

I would never advise someone not to purchase from a company. Before you buy a Bosch Lawnmower think on this:

Price 拢369
Time owned – 3 months
Time used – 45 minutes
Time not available for use – 4 weeks and counting
Frustration level – Extremely high

Update from my previous review. I got my engineer today. He was efficient, very professional and arranged a big discount as the machine was only just outside its warranty. He enjoyed working for the company and I felt much more positive afterwards. It was a bit of a rollercoaster but in the end I feel Bosch redeemed themselves!

BOSCH – Series 6 WAT28450GB
Purchased this machine in April and it works well (as expected)
However, I emptied it today and noticed the rubber seals was discoloured. I cleaned it off and was shocked by the amount of yellowy grime that I got off with liquid soap. It is still slightly discoloured and I'll be contacting customer services Monday morning. Do you have to clean the seal after every wash? Never done it with previous machines.

We purchased a stainless steel dishwasher from Bosch. Overall it is a decent machine but impossible to remove scratches from the surface. Turns out that they use some unique coating on their stainless steel material, so we have ugly marks that cannot come out. We even called Bosch but got the rep that we spoke with had no clue as to how we could remedy the problem. Scratches, even deep ones, should be easy to fix but unfortunately some companies (like Bosch) apply a coating that is not necessary and creates problems like this.

Bought Bosch washing machine WAB28162GB April 2016. After 18 months it wouldn't go through a wash cycle properly and a Bosch engineer visited under the guarantee and the heating element as replaced. Now 15 months after the repair I have the same problem again. I e mailed Bosch because the machine is out of guarantee but no joy. My e mail heading stated Washing Machine Complaint but the reply from Bosch mentioned twice a dishwasher which I don't even own. Total incompetence! The worst washing machine I have ever owned and a poor reflection on a well known company.

Approx 5% still dirty dishes after a 3 hour Dishwasher cycle !!! (loaded properly鈥ell there鈥檚 only one way to put a cup in or knife in with quality tablets )
BOSCH SILENT PLUS + cleaning still dirty dishes in sink.
拢450 not well spent
I am not here to entertain the reader or carelessly slander Bosch this is an honest and factual experience had by myself…….a year later on and to Bosch鈥檚 Credit machine is perfect now but why the initial hiccup ?

I love it! I love my Gtec vac too, but this one is better and a lot cheaper.

I can thoroughly recommend it, it has done a really job at picking up cat hairs, cat litter and general bits. My Vax cordless one, which cost twice the price has been absolute rubbish, so don鈥檛 buy one of those. My one is on the way to the tip!

We have just replaced our 18+ year Bosch Fridge and not because it's broken but because we would like a new fridge now.

I have also realised that our washing machine is Bosch which is also 15+ years old and we also have a Bosch Dishwasher which is fairly new, must say we are happy as a family and do recommend the brand to others and will be sticking with the brand 😀

I have the fancy Bosch dishwasher the worst piece of junk . Run from this thing . I WOULD LEAVE NO STARS IF I COULD. A BIG FAT O. My wife had to have it because of the neighbors. I don't believe it's ever functioned properly yea its sound is 44 db because it wont run always giving error codes. OR IT RUNS THEN STOPS .Then you call customer service .What a joke I might as well ask my dog why the dishes are still dirty and the machine runs for ever Like i said save your money buy a normal every day dishwasher. This thing is way over priced FOR THE SERVICE YOU GET OUT OF IT.ITS going to become an artificial reef going to drop it in salt water maybe the fish can make use of it DONE AND DONE!!!!!!!!!

Incompetent customer service experience, multiple times. I called to book an engineer appointment for my washing machine and was given an appointment for 3 days later which I was happy about. Even though the person I spoke to was quite patronizing and keen to get me off the phone. Came to the day the engineer was due and after waiting in all day they didn't turn up. Called customer services who said the appointment was never booked in ….and that they would have an someone call me the next day to book in a priority appointment within the coming days with a specific time slot rather than taking the day off work to wait in all day again. I was reassured that all was fine and they seemed genuinely helpful and sorry so when I got off the phone call to find an email for a time slot at a much later date I ignored it thinking it must be wrong. Came to the next day and no one called me as they had said the previous day, so I called them again where I was told that 12 minutes after I called there was an update from the engineers to say they couldn't do the days they originally said on the phone (but no one called to update me of this and the email I received with the wrong date was before this time so they'd basically just booked it in wrong anyway) I tried explaining this to them on the phone but they weren't willing to take any responsibility and I was practically told that I was a liar because why would the customer service assistant have said these things and not written them down ….
