On the one hand, there is nothing special about it.
On the other hand, for me it is what helps me and what I need.

I love this web browser, the built in ad blockers and script blockers that you can enable really help when surfing the web. I recently subscribed to their VPN + firewall option, which is currently working well. This is also a cryptocurrency supporting web browser which rewards you with BAT for viewing ads that they recommend (mostly related to crypto).

I have been using web browsers since late 90's. None of these web browsers created a wallet for me and save $10 in 20 years. Brave did it in 3 months. Why should I complain? What can I complain really?

Adblocker extensions beg for a donation. No web browser ever paid you a penny once in history and you complain about Brave? This is silly.

I understand Brave has lack in extensions for now because it's new if we compare to Chrome, Explorer, Firefox etc. That's why if I need to use extensions, I can always use another browser but for watching tutorials, videos, movies, music etc I will go for Brave. Fast and Easy. Simple!

Complete scam.

Been a user since its early development, they don't care about the users feedback or how to improve the platform.

Whatever you make doesn't matter at the end cause it get's adjusted according to their budget every month. So let's say you've made 10 this month, by the time it syncs near the 6th day of the month you'd check them again and see they became 7 or 6.

Not only that, to withdraw your BAT tokens you need to spend a network fee of 5 dollars to uphold which is entirely new and isn't based on an actual expense, been using it for over a year now and it worked just fine before they introduced the heavy fee.

A lot of sneaky tactics are being used currently so they would milk the users even more, it's just too much details to mention.

I think the browser is about to die specially when you think about how nobody is watching those ads and users basically close them tabs as soon as they click them. It's a failed business model.

Ok first of all I dont know why theirs soo many bad reviews for Brave but their great for me, very very very fast browser and it really does block utube ads no paying 12 pounds for me bonus.

Scam you cannot withdraw the bat on your phone and it runs really slow.

I installed this to get rid of annoying ads. They really blocked it.

It's a s–t browser that takes too long to load. Only use it if you have infinite patience and like being inconvenienced.

Very poor developments over the last few months. This company is just doing as they please, without any regard for the feedback of their users.

No custom tipping amounts via their "wallet" in the browser. Only 3 options to select from to specify an amount, no ability to change those amounts so no one will actually use it on a large scale.

Their "wallet" inside the browser is provided by Uphold, and they require you to verify yourself with personal information before you can withdraw anything. In contrast to what was promised in the past, initially stating that only amounts above a certain worth in fiat would require this.

Also, in regard to the wallet they offer, you don't actually own the BAT that accumulates there. You don't own the actual keys, and they only provide a mnemonic phrase for backup and recovery solely for the Uphold account.

All in all, this browser had HUGE potential – but I am already looking elsewhere and can no longer recommend the use of this browser nor do I think it has a future among more widely accepted browsers.

No rewards = no longer using

Installed on iMac running Sierra, 16GB memory. On start up the very next day Brave browser opened then closed immediately, it then wouldn't let me quit. Had to force shutdown because the browser was still open even after quitting. What a load of tosh.

No lag, no ads, no freezes buttery smooth experience

The browser is excellent

Terrible browser. It froze 3 times while trying to put a password into Facebook within the first 30 mins of using it and it crashed, not responding twice and I only had one tab open!! Scrolling is speeded up to give the illusion it is a faster browser, but it is not. It's laggy and freezes.

Brave make a very good web browser.
I swapped over to them 4-5 months ago and had a good experience.
It is fast and from what I can gather, very secure.
You can add extensions from the Google store, which I am not sure makes it any less safe or not.
