Very poor quality of their bags. After just a short time of use, the seams went up in many places outside the bag. Had reckoned that it could handle more than 3 months of use.

TL;DR
It's not waterproof and you can find a similar bag on AliBaba for 1/4 of the price.

I've had the bag for a few days now and today it's been raining. I put the backpack on my back and rode my Vespa home after a day of work. That's a 20 minutes ride. The inside of the biggest compartment got wet with water entering from the sides. I also found an almost identical bag on Alibaba (just search for "Laser cut backpack") for 1/4 of the price these guys charge you.
Unfortunately I'm reading these reviews only after the purchase and it seems like it's not as sturdy and resistant as advertised. It's definitely not waterproof and this is a big problem for me, as I use it to hold my PC as well. I'm afraid I should be expecting to see it falling apart within the next few months, although I really like it.

I ordered a 45L backpack, was very happy with it for 6 months. It offers great storage and compartments
CON:
after 9 months the backpack is slowly falling apart. Seams are ripping up, inner lining is coming apart, belt and handle are not built to last.
After contacting customer service I was told the order is too old for any compensation (9 months old) and after that they simply stopped replying. Although it's shipped from UK, when I ordered brexit was not signed and I should have received a full 2 year EU warranty.

Conclusion: cannot recommend, not built to last, bad Customer support experience.

This was brought as a Christmas present in 2019 and ripped in Sep 2020.

Bulit for Athletes have stated I can't get a replacement as its over 90 days.
So they should amend the product description to say " Lasts 90 days then you're on your own.

Inquired about the white backpack on their social media and was told off by the person running their social media in a very rude way. I was interested in purchasing the product, but in no way can I support a business that is rude when I ask a simple question about product stock.

I have ordered the 45L Hero 2.0 Backpack 1.5 weeks ago. To begin with they typed wrong delivery adress and since then I am still waiting for the parcel to be delivered. In addition both the service and the delivery company are barely answering their emails so it is frustrating and complicated to change the adress. The delivery company is not even answering the phone calls so it is almost impossible to contact them. Now I am just waiting and "praying" for the delivery to happen especially since I paid a decent amount of monwy for this bag. Finally I would not recommend this company as it is too much stress to receive the items and very bad service from both the company and the delivery company.

Unlike other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with amazing customer service from Built for Athletes. I ordered a backpack for my boyfriend which then went missing in the post. My emails were answered quickly and a new bag was sent out to replace the lost one at no extra cost to me. They chose to send with a different courier to make sure the mistake wouldn鈥檛 happen again and it arrived within a couple of days.

Ordered a bag, looked great and really durable. That was until 3.5 months later the handle of the top started to give way and the whole bag is starting to come apart.

I've emailed customer services several times and been told that because it is out of their exchange period I can't exchange it. I don't want a refund I just want a bag that isn't faulty! They claim to make the most durable bag on the market and then only give it a 3 month warranty… I think that speaks for itself.

The backpack is really nice – I like it a lot.
But their website and customer service and the reviews on their website are real fake!

They asked me to write a review, which I did. I gave 4 stars and listed a few cons next to a few pros.

The cons were:
– extras are quite expensive
– backpack is quite heavy (1.6 kg when empty)
– Hermes is used as delivery service
– not all zippers are YKK zippers

Pros were:
– lot of storage space
– great padding
– great choice for travelling / gym / hiking
– good compartments

They have deleted the review after a few hours. When I asked them on Instagram why they did that, they immediately blocked my account without giving any answer. I then used another IG account to share their behaviour with ~4000 followers and they blocked that account also.

This behaviour is really unprofessional!

You also notice on their website: If you sort the reviews by 'most recent', it is only showing 5 star reviews, even though there might be more recent reviews with a worse rating.

Ordered the 25L bag, came with a smudge on the 鈥楤uilt for Athletes鈥?patch, I contacted customer service and their response was to just wash it off! Never mind that the paint is already sealed in! They offered no collaboration on the issue and for the price of the product you鈥檇 think they鈥檇 be keen to help. Don鈥檛 make the mistake of ordering from them.

I'm very disappointed, I receive the bag and it was smelling as cheap plastic, didn't look too sturdy and the quality was not that good. I was making a review on the website, give them 4 stars and a comment, they deleted straight away. After I was order 2 patches from the website builtforathletes and I didn't receive my package, I call them and they told me it was a problem with yhe delivery company and they will come back to me, never happen. They are not serious and the bag doesn't deserve this amount of money, you can get a much better one from the north face,

The best bag you鈥檒l ever have.
Well made, sturdy, waterproof, well planned compartments. It鈥檚 great item.
45L is too big for everyday use and would most probably use it on a camping/trekking trip.
Ps.And no you can鈥檛 get it better on alibaba because what you鈥檒l get on alibaba or amazon is a cheap knockoff that will break by the time you put it on.

Gets their bags at alibaba for less than 10 bucks, sells them for 100 with a stupid patch sewed on. They ban anyone who talks about it on their social media.
