PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE CROOKS!
In August I tried to find nystatin for an ameraucana that had a bad case of vent gleet. I googled nystatin and up popped California Pet Pharmacy. I filled out the online form and submitted it. A notice popped up saying that I needed a prescription from my vet so I just closed out the website. The next day I get an email from California Pet Pharmacy saying that they could not process my order because I didn't provide a prescription from my vet so they canceled my order and because they canceled my order they did not charge my credit card. Fast forward one month. I get my credit card bill and there is a charge from California Pet Pharmacy for $10.00. Well the nystatin cost more than that so I call the company to find out why they charged me the $10.00. The bubble head that answered the phone said that the charge was because I canceled my order. I said, no ma'am I didn't cancel the order, you did. You refused to sell the product to me. She says, yes that's right we had to cancel the order because you didn't provide us with the information on vet. She says that she can fix this if I provide the information. I asked what information and she says the information on your vet. I said, lady I don't have a vet, if I had a vet I wouldn't have needed to order from you. In essence this company has charged me a restocking fee for a product that they never took off the shelf. Needless to say I have now opened a dispute case with my credit card company. Beware of this company. What a shame you can't give zero stars. They don't deserve any.

Have bought from them before. Tried to place an order this morning and haven't received my email with payment details on. Tried calling and number is out of service and no one ever answers me on the automated chat that's why I prefer (presspharmacyshop.com) because the are legit.

They charged me $10.00 because the prescription I had was from a doctor, not a veterinarian. Said their terms and agreements allow for this. I complained and they insisted on charging me. Now I have to file a credit card dispute.

California Pet Pharmacy has the absolute best customer service. They are super quick to respond to any concerns and communicate any issues almost immediately. Super fast shipping and very nice people working here!

The staff at California Pet Pharmacy are friendly and helpful. I couldn't find a better price for the medication my dog needed than what California Pet Pharmacy was selling it for. They ship quickly and I always get my order within a few days.

I used California Pet Pharmacy for several years. My dog's medicine was $30 more per month from my Vet and I was so thankful to find them. My pup had Cushing's Disease and his medicine was expensive. I appreciate the low cost Pharmacy I found in CPP!! 🙂

Second time I ordered a medication for my pet. First experience was ridiculous; could not coordinate medication order with my vet so medication was held up and arrived late; I had to pay overnight charges. Would not have ordered med a second time but had difficult time finding online pharm that carried it. Second time was not good either; I selected 2-3 day delivery and then sent it standard 5-7 business days from California! Finally found another supplier and had to reorder overnight from them. Also, they take take 48 hours standard processing time at a minimum even though your vet gets script approved same day. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you don't mind being jerked around.

California Pet Pharmacy has a great website, easy to search and navigate with a large product selection. I haven't needed their customer service often, but the one time I had a problem (not CPP's fault) they were helpful and professional. Their prices normally beat other vendors' as well. I've been a customer for over two years, and plan to stay with CPP!

I have a pet with Addison's Disease, who requires a number of specific meds, in addition to flea and heart worm meds and California Pet Pharmacy is my go to place for everything!! I definitely recommend California Pet Pharmacy to everyone I know. It is so convenient to just order whatever meds I need for my pets and they contact my vet for approval. I have used them for years and will continue!

I am writing from Hickory, North Carolina. That's at the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, North of Charlotte, home of The Panthers, NFL. The last time I was in California was in 1969 at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego.
I have to say CPP gets our Miniature Schnauzers (4) their meds in less than a week. To me that's very important. CPP gets the meds here quicker that the company up north on the east coast. I don't give out 5 stars very often, so you know I think very highly of CPP.

Our dog was prescribed medication that is used by humans as well and the first time that we filled it, the bill was nearly $400. Someone referred us to CPP and we spend about $40 per month. We are so grateful for CPP.

I have been using California Pet Pharmacy for over 6 years now. I order syringes for my diabetic cat and they have the best prices. Customer service is great and my orders always arrive earlier than expected and packaged well. I would highly recommend CPP to anyone .

I order meds for my horses from them every month I've never had a problem with the product or delivery. In fact, usually I get the prescription deliverd earlier rather than later.

Rx faxed TO Cali Pet Meds from my veterinarian on a Saturday and the following Friday it is STILL not filled yet. I have called numerous times, return phone call requests were NEVER done, ridiculously long hold times for speaking to customer service, poor attitude from customer service when I tried to resolve the problem. No offer to expedite shipping secondary to the delay caused by their incompetence. Spoke with a "supervisor" Gina who was not only NOT sympathetic or apologetic but she refused to transfer me to ANY other manager or someone who might actually care about being professional and provide good customer service and problem resolution. Chewy is far superior in customer service but unfortunately they don't stock the medication that I need. But ANY other mail order pet pharmacy will be better than service that you may receive from Cali Pet Meds unless you get entirely lucky in the ordering process and by some miracle have a good outcome. My husband and I have used California Pet Pharmacy for a few years now and have never been dissatisfied with the prices or shipping process of this company. In fact, we bought a year's worth of flea medication recently for our dog because it was a great deal; however, our dog unexpectedly passed away before we could use the first month of what we ordered.

When I emailed Customer Service to inquire about recommendations (because we understand that getting a refund would likely not happen due to it being a prescription), the response we got back was surprisingly cold, without any sort of acknowledgement that we have been customers for an extended period of time, that our dog just died, etc. It's not the biggest thing in the world, but customer service, I would hope at the very least after the death of a long-term customer, would entail a smidge of humanity or compassion.

If and when we have another pet, we will not do business with CPP again, even if the prices are comparable. I've heard incredible things about Chewy's customer service and will swiftly make the switch.
