Why only 2 stars…The product is great, no queries about that…but just hope you wont have to need any support whatsoever…let alone trying to get a straightforward explanation about how to download any updates ( they will only give you the website steps which in turn are equally useless…I have had the same issues re updating for years now with the website. Completely useless. I have spent the last hour to try to get the latest update and on the verge of throwing that piece of garbage away!..So annoyed. Don't try to email them or phone them or talk to them…they are non existent…They seem to ignore you. I must have followed the guidelines a million times and no way of knowing if the update has been done or not. No version to be seen. It is one thing to try to be smart about possessing the latest gadget or some of them…but another to give the decent updates tool to keep it going without bugs etc. I actually wondered if this is the reasons why they removed the
cardo community altogether…too many complaints in there about this subject??? ..currently unsure if I finally downloaded the 5.7 version. SOLVE that issue and then any biker will be able to stop asking the same questions. If I had known this I wouldn't have bought this expensive piece which is badly let down by the silly updates saga and I certainly wont recommend it either . Very unhappy.

I had an issue with a unit that was just out of warranty but I was given a nice discount on another unit. Waiting on delivery right now. So much happier than buying from a dealer

we ordered the cardo refresher system. Directions were clear and helpful, I also checked out the video on you tube. I am giving this a 4 star because, the Velcro for the mouth piece did not work on the first application, neither did the new one I tried to apply. It comes off the plastic part of the mic. All the other velcros work very well.

been using these for a few years now and they work great for my wife and I. We mainly use them to talk to each other but they work great for music too. The best part is we can watch each other鈥檚 back when we鈥檙e on the road around these crazy drivers that usually have a phone in their hands. Would highly recommend

I have been using a Packtalk Slim for almost two years now. I had a small issue with mine that was very quickly and painlessly handled by Cardo support. My parents also switched from a competing brand and said that the quality and ease of use was instantly and unmistakably noticeable. We've all since upgraded to the larger speakers to get the best sound possible.

The micro USB connector broke in my PackTalk Slim. I had read some nightmare stories about dealing with Cardo customer service, HOWEVER I was very impressed with how professionally (and quickly) they replaced my unit. All I needed to do was send an email with a copy of the receipt (I screen-grabbed it from a Cycle Gear email), my address, and a picture of the serial number. They immediately responded and told me where to send the unit. I then sent them the tracking number of my package (ie. I didn't have to wait for them to receive my return), and they immediately sent out my replacement. The whole process took only a couple of days. My only mistake was that I lost the clamp to hold the unit (I may have accidentally sent it to them). I had to purchase a new clamp. My only complaint (and disappointment) were the clamp price and shipping. $20 ($12 for clamp and $7 for shipping!) for a small piece of bent sheet metal? Ridiculous! This is clearly where Cardo must make a lot of their margin!

Your system told me this unit wasn鈥檛 available when I tried to order when the real problem was I hadn鈥檛 clicked the calculate shipping button. Once I did that then I could order. You need to have an error messsge about the shipping button not being clicked rather than telling me there were no units bailable.

It took me 5 or 6 emails to get some type of satisfaction, even though I sent a picture of the broken part I need to replace in the 2nd or 3rd email. I received a 鈥渇orm letter鈥?response saying they were sorry their trouble shooting steps didn鈥檛 work, when NO TROUBLE SHOOTING STEPS WERE EVER SENT. I was really getting frustrated and almost ready to say, 鈥渟crew it鈥?and give up. When I thought one more picture might clarify what I needed. I guess my terminology was off. I was referring to it as a mount, when I guess it鈥檚 called a 鈥渃radle鈥?

Did research and decided to purchase the Cardo. Have not installed yet but am sure it will work well. Very happy with the communication and very fast shipping by Cardo I have a Sena now and decided to upgrade.

I purchased a pair of Cardo PackTalk Bold headsets on 19th of August. I had charging issues with 1 of them from new in that I had to continually move lead in order for the unit to take a charge. When I was away on a tour, I was charging the headset in the hotel 1 evening and when I removed the lead the internal charging port came out with the lead, leaving it a very expensive paperweight. I have many electric devices which use the same lead, and I am fully aware as to how to insert and remove the lead, so this was not a case of brute force and ignorance; I believe the soldier on the charge port was poor to begin with.

Having contacted Cardo directly via their website, I was asked a few simple questions and then left with no response after providing proof of purchase.

I bought this unit as our biking group had all agreed on the Cardo systems, but out of the 8 units, mine has broken and another friends unit had to be sent back for a base plate fault where the microphone wouldn鈥檛 work.

Extremely disappointed in a very expensive product.

My experience with Cardo has been horrible! Almost after three weeks of not receiving a tracking number or any correspondence from Cardo I finally found a email I could connect to. There鈥檚 no customer service phone number only one mail. When you did get back there was 3 people emailing me back asking the same question over and over again. I had no answer cause you never sent me the info you were asking for. After a week of useless emails, they finally found it and sent it express mail. Cardo is certainly and hands-down the worst company I鈥檝e ever dealt with!!

Customer service is outstanding. Unit reception is great. Radio to intercom transition is seamless. A must tool for managing large group rides or a music alternative without adding bulky speakers to the motorcycle allowing a no hassle transfer between different bikes.
