We arrived on a Tuesday evening from London and departed the following Tuesday evening. The bus pick-up from the airport was there within ten minutes and took us to the depot in 5 minutes, where there was no waiting around. I handed over my voucher from Zest and as I'd purchased excess insurance and top-up from them, there was no hard sell on extra insurance. We also go a free second driver.
I used my credit card for a deposit (important) and paid a deposit for fuel (the fuel comes out of your account and is later credited, the deposit doesn't). 5 minutes later I checked over the car (nearly new Hyundai i3 with 5000Km) and agreed to the small bumper scratch shown on the paper work (they don't want to know about any damage smaller than a rich-tea biscuit)
On returning, again there were no queues. The agent did a quick inspection and found no damage then asked me to sign a form and he returned the fuel deposit (in my account in 24h). The bus was there waiting for us and 5 minutes later we were at departures.
Only slight gripe is that they don't do full-to-full fuel. I had to return it with 90% full, which is hard to do, so I ended up filling it 100%.
Overall this was a very hassle free experience and I'd recommend using Zest and Centauro again.

When I went to collect the car I went through the Hire Document with another agent who told me there was one mark on the roof of the car but as it was already listed, I should ignore it.
The multi story car park where the car was located was pretty dark but I made a point of inspecting the car and immediately noticed that there were many scuffs and marks on the car. I went back to the agent to get these listed on the Hire Document only to be told that as they were only minor marks, Centauro did not worry about them and that all was ok .
However , when I returned the car 12 days later , the agent told me that a small scuff mark on an Alloy Wheel was new and caused by me . He was also able to immediately tell me that it would cost 300 Euro.
Of course I argued that the scuff mark was not caused by me and was not my fault but he held up the Hire Document and told me that if its not on the list then its my fault. I told him that I had raised my concerns about all the scuffs and marks before I took the car but he just stood there saying nothing.
As I had a flight to catch I had to leave without the issue being resolved.
Sure enough , Centauro charged 300 Euro to my CC.
300 Euro for a small scuff mark on a wheel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have rented many, many cars in my lifetime and have never had an issue with any other company.
First time with Centauro and this happens .
They are a bunch of SCAM artists – avoid like the plague.
They are an embarrassment to Spain.

But they were strictly checking people that did not have the full cover, so better take it.
Thanks centauro, I will use u again. (palma mallorca experience)

As a previous poster said 'do not give them your credit card' is a stupid point really, as you cannot rent a car without giving your credit card anyway.
