Chamonix Estate are liars, cheats and have lined their pockets by failing to provide services. They use the lease agreement as a document to hide behind and then threaten you with action claiming that you are not complying with the lease.

Since thy have taken on our development, they have caused problems beyond imagination.

Their staff are rude, arrogant, liars and do not know the first things about customer service.

The directors of our development are also liars and cheats and do not allow residents to contact them directly.

The head lease holder has disappeared and is no where to be found although collecting his money from hard working residents.

We are sick of these crooks and they need to be shut down.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS!

I cannot recommend this firm. There are managing agents that offer better value for money for improved levels of service.

3 days to replace a faulty fire alarm. Completely illegal. Had a fire alarm going off in our communal hallway, day and night for 72 hours!

Rude, argumentative staff. Promised call back from manager which never happened. Just a shocking company to deal with. AVOID!

If I can rate 0 star, I won't give them 1 star.
They charge a lot but do little things. The only effort they make is how to make the most money from residents with least work.
When we report a problem, they reply late and also fix the problem very late.
We ask for email billing, they refuse.

What made me very angry was, they didn't send me the original bill and the first letter I receive was a bill with a recovery fee. And this letter was sent during the covid-19 when I was on isolation and not able to check the mail box.

This is obviously their fault! But they insisted, as long as I could receive the letter with bills, even though it's a followup reminder, even though I was not aware of that during the isolation, I should still pay for the recovery fee!
They refused to do email billing, and didn't send me the original bills, how could they blame this to me?

I argued with them, but they kept making things vague and didn't answer my questions clearly. Just kept chasing me to pay the recovery fee. One team pushed me to the other team while that other team pushed me back. They just passed the buck.

After one month argument with them, I got exhausted and didn't want to waste more time with them for just 拢42. So I gave up.

How come such a company survive in the market? So ridiculous!

The most useless company I have ever seen!! They just sit in their van all day parked up in estate and does nothing!! Charges ridiculous money for nothing I have never ever seen them doing something !!! Don鈥檛 understand how companies like this exist!!!

Awful company, charges too much and does nothing close to justifying it. Communication historically poor and never accept fault on their behalf. Avoid at all costs.

Mickey mouse company. This company pretend to be attentive to your needs but don't care less. They have Mickey mouse employees who come round and spend more time in their vans than onsite cleaning. They use cheap hoovers and bombard noticeboards with utter useless information. We're adults not children. Theres one rule for one neighbour and another for others. They pick & choose who they wish to advise nonsense to. They don't practice their terms and conditions. Their Mickey mouse cleaners are argumentative and aggressive. Utter waste of space useless incompetent company. Once every two weeks the neighbours do as they please when not here and we all don't care. we do as we wish.

have just seen the Chamonix Estate Management van actually parked half on the pavement in Queen Street Bude. But as I was wondering why they were there I watched as the passenger threw bits of rubbish out of his window before the driver pulled away!
really??? this indicates how little these people care about anything!

I wish I had recorded this……see how they deal with a fine for their inconsiderate behaviour!

Absolutely terrible and don't care about anything but ripping people off with large fee's and never doing the job they are meant to. Keep away if you know what's good for you. Worst company ever.

Do very little work on the estate that my property is part of, and charge more and more each year for the privilege, way over inflation. The information they provide justifying these charges is scant, and when you request more they say that you have to attend their offices to see it. If you are considering buying a property with these guys running the estate, avoid. Can't wait for legislation that scraps service charges full stop and puts people like this out of business.

If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. Absolute shambles of a company that we're now tied to using after buying a Taylor Wimpey home. In 12 months I've seen a van come to the development once! I've never ever seen them do any maintenance of the grounds or what they're supposed to do / arrange. You'll get Increased and uncapped charges without warning too. If other property developers are thinking about using this company – simply DON'T! Find an alternative because it'll affect your property sales in the long run. You'll email to complain and you won't get a reply or be made to wait ages. The customer care is abysmal. I wouldn't actually mind paying if you did what you're paid to do. Our estate is looking into ways to see if we can effectively sack these guys and find an alternative and escape this nightmare company.

Have had the delight of these clowns running our estate since 2011. To start off with we were getting billed for a play park that wasn't even built!!

After several years we the residents took over the directorships of the estate. Because after investigations it was found we were being charged 拢25k for the gardening of the estate. The gardening was being carried out by 鈥︹€?Chamonix estates and was of a poor standard.
So the company managing the site was employing itself to do the gardening and the cleaning of the flats on site. Any complaints were being ignored , including gardeners urinating behind buildings. They were so good at doing the gardening and cleaning that 2 guys could do both the gardening and the cleaning in 1hr which included 20min tea break in their van.

When there was a residents meeting Adrian the MD was that embarrassed he gave back the 拢25k. All was well for a year or so until residents started to resign from the board and Chamonix "Took back control" they didn't renew the contract of the cleaners and have since taken over the gardening again.

I went to work abroad in oct 2018. So asked if they could send the bill electronically via email at a residence meeting in front of the MD to which I was told yes. Come January the email didn't arrive so I phoned several times from abroad (Egypt Sinai Desert) but still didn't get the email, after being told they would send it straight away. As this had gone on for months now I phoned again and said just tell me how much it is. I paid it there and then. I have since come home for Christmas and New Year and find that next years 2020 fees have come with "Recovery fees" from last year 2019 for being late.
I contacted them and was told the girl that I had given my email address to no longer worked for the company. said I wished to speak to Adrian and was told I would get a call from him Monday have tried their office several times today with no answer.

The parking company that they employ on site has over Christmas been ticketing residence who have parking permits in the windscreens of the vehicles. When they complained they were told pay 拢60 now or 拢100 after 2 weeks.

Avoid at all costs. A joke of a company.

Awful! Have recently (joyously) informed us that they have been named as our Management company (despite us being told over two years ago), and despite the site not being completed for another 1-2 years.
Luckily they are already charging us for costs in setting up the company (which has existed since 2006) which of course they will add to our first bill in the future. Worth noting that their 鈥渟ecretaries鈥?consist of over 670 other companies all run by the same people to maximise screwing people over.
