I paid $65,000 for a new composite Trex deck and in less than 6 months it started having white spots appear all over it. I waited weeks to get an answer from "Vice President" Zack W. on how they planned to handle this warranty issue…he has yet to give me a straight answer so I contacted Trex myself. They quickly told me that it was a warranty issue and I let Zack know…but he never responds and to date has not let me know what they plan on doing to replace my deck; a deck that even Trex says has a quality issue. My interactions with Zach have proven he is a "VP" in title only, but he has no real-world skills that would enable him to be a problem solver. In addition, his customer service and follow up skills have shown that he has no desire to resolve this matter in a professional manner, as I've tried to do from the start. I've also filed a Consumer Complaint with Tennessee State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I would recommend others to do the same. Please feel free to contact me if you have experienced similar issues with this company as I will undoubtedly be seeking legal action in short order.
