Very bad experience with this company and the gutter still leaks when under heavy rain. will need to get it fixed after winter.
I understand and have been told that they are still trading under Comfortable Marketing Services Ltd name now.
We need to bring them to face justice, Please stay away from these cowboys.
I wont even rate them as one STAR

My experience echoes all those below. celiing installed which has now failed and is at risk of collapse. No certificates. Electrics done incorrectly. etc etc.

Has anyone been in touch with companies house? This company has not submitted accounts for a period, that I know they were trading, as they did the "work" in my house. It is against the law not to submit accounts. Plus they were collecting VAT and have not declared it. Again this is illegal. even if you cant get your money back, there are things that you can do.

No contact after deposit paid until fitters turned up on our doorstep (late). Had minimal supplies that they cut corners. Tools kept breaking down. No building inspector in day 1, & after calling the office was told I'd get a call back. On day 2 I asked the fitter to speak to tell the office I was still waiting for call re building regs. Had to take extra days off work for electrician who didn't come when we were told; plus post installation when the building inspector was finally contacted to visit; then when CC had to come back to dig inspection hole. They wanted fitter & materials payment before job was finished which I refused to pay & quoted their contact with me back to them to pay on completion. Even though promised, still no guarantees for building work or electrical work.

I wasn't surprised to read all of the bad reviews posted here. I could relate a similar disastrous story. After my 'job' was done I registered to receive updates from Companies House on this company and received an email today regarding a 'Compulsory Strike-off'.
I'm only sorry that I didn't write a review of my terrible experience after my job was done over a year ago. It may have helped ward people off this dishonest company. The experience made me ill and I was so stressed that I just couldn't face reliving it via a review – I just wanted them out of my life. So sorry to read these reviews. The people at the company responsible for committing these acts of deceit to get your money and who cause such distress should to be hauled over the coals big time.

Disgraceful bunch of people, all linked – Comfortable Conservatories ceased trading last March, then replaced by Comfortable `Marketing Services Ltd who filed as a dormant company in January 2018 so shouldn't even be trading. Telephone numbers don't work anymore, nor does their emails and they have closed their website down. Seems they're connected to TCR (Tiled Conservatory Roofs) who are also in the process of liquidation. They just keep closing companies and setting up new ones!!! How can that be legal?
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they lie about building regs (you DO need them if you are having a tiled roof) and you will be left having to get a Regularisation certificate retrospectively at a cost of up to 拢800 – and that's without any remedial work that needs doing. If you have paid anything on credit card claim in back via section 75 and also let Trading Standards know.

I have just been left in the poop, by having the work done (only time will tell to what standard), and being left with no paperwork whatsoever. No receipts for payment, no building regs and no electrical certificates. I have just made a complaint to BBC rogue traders (Watchdog). PLEASE EVERYONE DO THE SAME AND LETS GET THESE @RSEHOLES BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. They shouldn't be allowed to con anymore customers out of money. How is it legal to just keep setting up companies, conning people and then liquidating them with no come back. Fuming!!

Shockingly bad, now apparently in liquidation so this review seems a bit pointless really but let me get this off my chest. We got a roof (of sorts) through the skin of our teeth I think. We paid the deposit in good faith in July then nothing, no contact whatsoever for weeks then months so alarm bells started ringing as they were almost impossible to get hold of, and never rang back or replied to numerous emails.

Foolishly we had paid the (large) deposit by bank transfer so decided we would be best to hang on in there as we would not get our deposit back. (Sorry for all the clich茅s but I'm so angry and upset I can't think straight.)

The start date was changed 3 times. Then they didn't turn up. Then they did but lots of things were wrong so they had to reorder / remake some parts and still they were wrong. Eventually we got a new very badly finished roof. A door that would not lock. Electrics that did not work. A gutter filled with rubbish and plastering a five year old would have been proud of.

We have no paperwork at all. No receipt, no electric P certificate, no Fensa certificate and no Building Regs or Building Control which they were meant to arrange re making it a useable space as opposed to a conservatory. No guarantee of any sort. An insurance-backed guarantee would have protected us in the event of the future problems we fully expect considering the shoddy workmanship and now their liquidation.

Apparently they used to be Comfortable Conservatories Ltd which went under. Then they relaunched immediately under the new Comfortable Marketing brand but with a fabulous website still called Comfortable Conservatories. Please be wary of anything resembling them from Milton Keynes that might pop up offering replacement roofs in the future as I think they will soon be back with a shiny new website to con more people.

Customer service OK until they have your money. I have cracked plastering and a tile has fallen off. Originally Louise said she was passing to installation team to get sorted. Not heard anything and now the 0800 number has been disconnected. They will not answer my calls or emails. I paid deposit on credit card but because the name on credit card statement is not legally connected to name on order form I cannot Claim under section 75.
They have not given me any receipts or guarantee paperwork. They are a rip off company. I cannot believe Adrian the salesman could work for such a company! Trading Standards confirmed company is now in liquidation.

Not recommened

The company history suggests some short term trading has occurred in the past.. My initial experience of the company was fine although the literature I was given included staff who I now discover had already moved to another job. The website is nice.

The price was competitive The work was completed quickly although the original spec could not be met. After a week or so it was clear to me that the installers were of very limited experience and ability. The velux window went in the wrong way round and leaked. the roof looked very amateurishly installed and no one on the team was able to install guttering , admiting that they had only been on a 2 hour training course for fitting soffits and gutters. This all despite having what they referred to as their best installers led by the then ops manager. Luckily I had not paid anything other than the deposit so they sent another crack team to put things right. This team said that the original work was not very good and stripped the roof. All seemed well for a while. I had been concerned that the lead flashing had been put under the tiles and that some of the tiles had been pinned right through but I was assured by Terry that it was fine and that he guaranteed there would be no leaks and that the work was guaranteed anyway.

I suspected all was not well after the winter snow melt where it looked qs if there was some ceiling staining. This summer's storms proved that something was really wrong with a flood and severe staining. There was one section of the roof which was very cold and had not been insulated.

Time for a service call. this was one of many with many missed promised visits and a multitude of excuses. 3 months have passed with nothing being achieved. Charlotte, Daniella both promised visits on 5 or 6 occassions.I took toime off from work and waited. No one came or called to apologise.. Emails went unanswered.. Charlotte eventually told me to get the repairs done locally and the company would reimburse me. She was sending me an email confirmation at that very moment which never arrived.

I have employed someone to put things right and to help him have looked at a 10 minute video on you tube put on by Tapco whose tiles comfortable used. It is clear that they had not looked at this as not one of Tapcos recommended procedures has been followed..

I hope to get my roof right but it will have cost me dearly both in financial and mental resources.

I could not recommend this company If they are still trading do as many independent background checks as you can. The internet tells its own story

NO STARS
They are liars – the website looks so professional and we had a qualified surveyor measure up on 11 August 2018. The next surveyor said the job was accepted and the 'office' helped me transfer the 拢1,000.
Then nothing despite calls from me and a succession of changed appointments. Broken down van and broken promises until 3 sub-contractors turned up saying they were instructed the night before, looked at the job, went to buy materials and we never saw them again. No communication from them to today 25 Oct 2018.
Not even to make up another excuse.
I am reporting these people, don't use them and don't end up like me.

They were fast to quote and try to beat other peoples quote, and quick to get booked in for the build. The build itself was not bad and the workmen friendly. There were however a catalog of issues which are still not being rectified 6 months after the build.
* they broke a floor tile and has not replaced or compensated me for this
*the build process was completely different as described by sales team – they don't have a clue, just want a sale. This would have changed my mind and I would have gone for a different company
* the sales team forget to add things to the quote (such as lead) and then tried to charge extra – they did not in the end
* After the build the workmen do not leave and hovered over me until I made a payment over the phone to a colleague in the office – even though there are still snags they need to fix.
*The lead flashing is lifting off the roof – which has not been fixed 6 months on
* The lights do not fully go into the ceiling because the insulation is too close meaning the lights are touching the insulation – still not fixed 6 months on
* 6 months on and I still do not have a building regulation certificate, apparently Comfortable conservatories did not arrange for the council to come during the build which is one of their promises.
I have been trying to arrange another appointment for the buildings regulations and to fix the other items of the build and I can not get through via phone and am not able to leave a message.
When I eventually did arrange an appointment they did not turn up and did not tell me they were not going to come – I now can not get through to them.
* just a small thing but I am not happy about it during the build – the work men walked up the carpeted stairs to the bathroom with dirty shoes and left skid marks in my loo

STAY AWAY GO ELSEWHERE

Don't know why I had to give 1 star to write a review because I would have given Zero if the choice was given
Salesman Mark came to the house to give a a quote, 拢5800 was the price for a 12sqm lean too pitched conservatory tiled insulated and plastered. Got a couple of extra quotes that came in slightly cheaper and questioned Mark on the price. Mark imediately nocked the price down to 拢4800 ???? , obviosly i bit at that ( wish id read the reviews on here first) paid 拢1200 deposit to secure the job a further 拢3100 payment on completion of roof and 拢500 after for plastreing, got fitment date of 18-19 October plastering on 20th and they turned up and started work. Wife took a couple of days holiday of work, when I came home the evening of the 1st day they had done all outside accept for the tiles and got as far as completing the plaster board inside, telling my wife that they would only have 2 hrs work to finish following day. When I got home from work the first night I was shocked at the quality of work and that I wouldn't be paying for completed job unless rectified. They had to strip plaster board out and start again, fitters estimate of 2 hrs on second day turned out to 6 hrs to rectify the shoddy workmanship. Low and behold no one has turned up after waiting in all day for plastering of ceiling, phoned other providers for a quote who are coming in at 拢200 …. no guesses what I'm gonna do…

Watch this space, will update when it leaks as I'm expecting after reading the reviews here

10 year guarantee is non existent and don't even ask for a payment receipt… all calls ignored and when you do get through on the phone your gonna get called love or darling or babe

Well done Samantha great customer service…. not

Comfortable conservatories 3rd review. After paying a deposit of 拢1200 and ordering a new roof in July comfortable conservatories failed to turn up to install my roof on two consecutive appointments no apologies just did not turn up.I lost six days off work as both appointments were for 3days each.I cancelled the contract with comfortable conservatories and eventually after many phone calls received an email from the director Samantha Jones informing me I would receive a cheque in 14 days. And so it goes on 18 days later still no refunded deposit have phoned them again and they said they would phone me back and 2days later nothing.

Presented well and quoted cheaply so I gave them the job. Then the issues started – no show on day 1, botched the job then left the job unfinished. Demanded cash was paid before the end of the job and I was left seriously out of pocket once someone else came to finish it off.

No response to calls and emails.

Worst service I鈥檝e had for years

We had our roof replaced in Nov 16. Tiled and plastered finish with a 10 year guarantee.

2 months after the replacement roof was fitted, gaps opened up along a number of the new and original joins of the walls and roof to the house meaning the roof no longer was watertight.

Comfortable Conservatories sent out a team to carry out the repairs and admitted fault for the issues.

A few months ago, these same gaps started appearing again, and have continued to expand. I can now see daylight in the gaps and the roof and the walls are no longer watertight.

I called Comfortable Conservatories once again to ask them to come and carry out repairs under our 10year guarantee.

After weeks of chasing I received a letter stating that Comfortable Conservatories were in liquidation and had been brought by Comfortable Marketing Services. Their stance was now:

"…they will not be fulfilling the service or repairs under the original guarantee…" they went on to say "…the number of service calls now exceeds the terms agreed when Comfortable Marketing Services took over…"

They informed me that if I wanted them to carry out any reapirs I would now have to pay for them.

The contact details they gave me were for the new director: Samantha Jones (funny how the original Managing Director of Comfortable Conservatories was Andy Jones).

Every time I have contacted (or should I say, every time I have had to chase them) them I have spoken to the same people (Charlotte, Daniela) who were there with Comfortable Conservatories.

Have they just put the company into liquidation to get out of making all the repairs that people are now asking for and started up a 'new' company with the same people, same logos, same website?

I am waiting on a response from Samantha regarding this situation… which unsurprisingly she has still not contacted me about after weeks of chasing her.

I am currently in discussion with Trading Standards and the CAB regarding this situation.

My advise is do your research and see the huge number of complaints and reviews that people are posting regarding the quality of the work, the customer service and the non fulfilment of repairs.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY.

If, by chance you can get hold of anyone they will lie, make excuses, say they will get back to you and never do and do anything to avoid even speaking to you. I was eventually promised an engineer to come and view installation issues on three separate occasions, no one ever turned up, despite taking time off work to fit around their schedules.
No one answers calls back, they will push hard to get a sale and your cash…that's where the customer service ends.
The review should be NO STARS but that option wasn't available.
WORST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE WAS USING COMFORTABLE CONSERVATORIES and issue still not solved or even looked into 2 years later!!!!!!!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE….. AVOID

We had a roof done early this year had a leak and it was repaired but now gutting is leaking and facia board has come apart after numerous phone call getting fobbed off and two appointments book they never turned up. Once they take your money they don鈥檛 want to know. They say they will ring back but never do. This is the worst company I鈥檝e ever dealt with. Half the phone numbers you ring have now been disconnected. AVOID

New warm roof fitted in April. We found the sales process low pressure and the fitting was done within the agreed timescale. Mark the roof installer was excellent. Materials seem decent quality and overall we were please.
What let's this lot down is the terrible after sales service. Once they've got you money it's non existent.
Have never received my guarantee or receipt even after many calls and emails and promises. Even spoke to the senior sales guy who came to our house initially…..he copied me in on emails he sent to Samantha Jones…..Director asking her to sort it. Then I have a copy of the email she sent to the office telling them to sort it…..6 weeks later and nothing.
Once they've got your money that's the end of it. Shocking.

Never arrived on the date agreed, apparently let down by local contractors. After weeks of pushing, a couple of lads turned up and completed the roof installation. The plastering works is worse than poor and the roof is leaking in both corners. No one willing to help, even though I have a worthless guarantee. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Terrible service! I was unhappy with serveral aspects of the service I received from comfortable conservatories from an uneven ceiling to a complete mess from plastering. But the biggest disappointment I had with this company is the customer service or lack there of. Very unhelpful and when I felt the need to write a complaint letter something I have never done in my life! It was just ignored even after a phone call and 4 emails! Still no response. Any company that treats their customers like that is not to be trusted. I would never recommend this company!
