Have had CP for the last two years. Recently my washing machine broke. I called and received an immediate approval. I love that I can choose my own repair company. They came out and diagnosed the issue and CP approved the repair. Love the zero deductible and the fact that they paid our bill quickly.

I called Jacky to make sure they would cover my refrigerator and microwave repairs, however they declined both. The microwave was an older GE model that was a built in when I bought the house 6 years ago. The technician said it needed a new magnetron and diode that would cost $300 with parts and labor. The tech spoke with Jacky and advised her that a new microwave of the same type but newer model would cost $1200. Jacky said because it was old she would not replace it but give me $125 for a new one (Hahaha like that will cover the price). Then the tech said my refrigerator needed a new condenser, compressor, evaporator, heat exchange, dryer filter, and Freon. He advised that the cost to repair would be $2,800. He told Jacky that it would be worth repairing because a new one is upwards of $10,000 for a subzero. I was standing next to the repair tech when he was discussing this with Jacky. I then got on the phone with Jacky to discuss if they would fix it. She said they would not fix it because it was too old and the tech told her they no longer had parts to repair it (LIE). I advised her that wasn鈥檛 true that the tech was on the phone with subzero checking on all the parts which they said they had in stock. She then said it鈥檚 too old, so they won鈥檛 repair it. She said they would issue $500 toward a new refrigerator upon purchase and submittal of the receipt. Don鈥檛 wast your time with this company as they make they鈥檙e own decisions when to make a repair. I realize the company that came out to assess the appliances wasn鈥檛 great but I asked Jacky if they had any referrals in my area that they recommended, however she said they did not.

I called in for microwave repairs and unfortunately the closest technician they had listed wouldn't make the trip as we were located further out of the city limits. In response CAP allowed me to find a replacement but had the same results so they authorized me to fully replace the microwave for allotted reimbursement. The process was very effortless and reimbursement was received in a timely fashion. Be sure you know what your warranty allots reimbursement-wise prior to purchasing any replacement appliance.

I would prefer not to have the company that was sent out They seem to have problems with communication between the office and service people. There was confusion about appointment times and failed to call 30 minutes ahead as requested.
Also, despite the fact that I mailed the receipt for the dishwasher some time ago, I haven't received the check for reimbursement.

This company has always responded positively, professionally and speedily to any issues we've had with our appliances or pool equipment and in the past few years there have been many. Unlike most home warranty companies their contractors never charge a service call fee and on the rare occasions where they didn't have a contractor the company has always sent our reimbursement check for someone we had to call outside of the network in a timely manner. We think it's the best home warranty company out there. #loyalforlife

Hi I am very sorry!! My girl friend heard me complaing about My CAR protection and confused them with CP.. Every time I call them They are there! If there is any complaint it whould be that they dont have enough people to fix all the problems!! A few times I had to find A repair man on my own..
