ComputerPirates

Computer Pirates offered the cheapest price for my laptop (拢880 vs 拢1100+), so it was an obvious choice to buy from them. They had only one of my product left in stock, so I emailed them just to make sure there was one left before ordering, and they replied to confirm this. All was well.
I had to try to order the laptop a total of 6 times, each refused for some bizarre reason, on top of the crazy 2% surcharge for paypal/mastercard payments. Sofort Banking payment is available for free, but they require ridiculous amounts of personal information and I decided it wasn't worth the risk.
Because I paid by card, there was also an additional 1 working day's wait.
On top of my extra day's wait, there were 3 days when my order was simply 'shipped to warehouse'. There was no additional information about where the warehouse was or when they expect it to leave the warehouse (so that I can guess how long it might take). I sent two emails which were both ignored. Email contact form just returned a 404 error and any attempt to call any of their numbers (well within working hours) didn't get through.
On the fourth day, I was finally assigned a tracking number and the order status changed to 'complete'. The tracking number did not exist on the courier (DPD)'s system so I had to call them (a premium line), and was waiting for half an hour before they got to the phone to give me the real tracking number. I now have to wait a further 2 days for delivery by DPD from Amsterdam (I was never informed that it was even out of the UK).
The quoted 2-4 days stated on the CP website has ended up taking nearly 2 weeks, and I was ignored when requesting help.
I am writing this now because I am bored out of my mind after waiting in for the delivery for the past few days, and need to nag about it a bit. Ok, rant over, let's just hope it arrives in good condition (I won't hold my breath)
