They do not reply to emails, their system does not work half the time, it took five calls I st cancel a package. When I asked an employee to mail me some info he said I don't have time. A joke of a company.

Awful. Bought prepaid SIM in Germany and never worked. Went back to store 2x and guy was an idiot. Would not return our money even tho he knew it didn't work. We were in T眉bingen. Buyer beware.

I was charged 225 euros at an international rate for calling a 1800 toll free international customer service line during which I was on hold for over an hour. I was completely unaware that they would charge for this because its 2020 and its unbelievable that a communications company would still charge for this. They refused to give me a one time dispensation over it either. Customer chat was very unhelpful in this matter. Go with a bigger carrier, its not worth the cheap rates when you get hit with a massive, unreasonable fine for something that has no business being charged for in modern times.

I don鈥檛 understand why people are so unhappy with congstar. Very uncommonly forthcoming service – give me stuff for free all the time. I got stuck in Spain during covid lockdown without broadband internet, they gave me several coupons for additional data (which normally costs a lot of money). Very flexible terms (prepaid and contract). I can only report positive experience with them. There are much much worse providers than Congstar (actually all of them are worse).

Gro脽e Entt盲uschung nach langj盲hriger Mitgliedschaft! Ich war eigentlich immer recht zufrieden mit Congstar. Ich wollte ungebunden (PrePaid) sein mit monatlichem K眉ndigungsrecht und das so viel gelobte D-Netz nutzen. Bisher war der Anbieter auch recht g眉nstig, bis ich auf ein Angebot zum 10-j盲hrigen Jubil盲um reingefallen bin, das man u. a. langj盲hrigen Kunden angeboten hat. Dort versprach man mir satte 10GB Datenvolumen bei allerdings gedrosseltem Netz mit max. 3G. Ein Haken: 24 Monate Vertragslaufzeit. Gute dachte ich mir, habe ja bisher immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht und habe mich drauf eingelassen. 1 Jahr lang lief alles gut, bis ich dann feststellte, dass ich auf einmal viel mehr zu meinem bestehenden Vertrag zahlen musste … das stand nach R眉cksprache mit dem Congstar-Chat wohl in meinen Vertragsbedingungen. Ich habe daraufhin recht ver盲rgert gek眉ndigt, auch aus dem Hintergrund, weil ich in kein neuen besseren Tarif bei Congstar wechseln konnte!!! Bei bisherigen Anbietern die ich kannte war das kein Problem. Seit Monaten habe ich nun nur "E"-Empfang mit dem kein vern眉nftiges Surfen mehr m枚glich ist, zahle mehr Geld und kann so mein Limit schon mal gar nicht benutzen! Leider bin ich noch fast ein Jahr an diesen Vertrag gebunden, was das Schrecklichste ist! Congstar ist f眉r mich die reinste Entt盲uschung. Auf Bestandkunden pfeift man offensichtlich und ist nur auf die schnelle Mark aus. Ich rate jedem nur keinen l盲ngerfristigen Vertrag mit diesem Anbieter einzugehen!

Very bad service ! I was talking to Stephanie Thiel today and I was expressing my disappointing as I top up 2 day ago and I was not able to use the service. The status on my app was always pending.
When I contacted the chat team this lady explain that she will pass the message to some service team. When I asked how long it will take I have been told 24 to 48 hours. In a very polite way I said I find this a little unfair as I was already without internet for 2 days, and waiting another 2 days with no Internet in a foreign country is not a best option for me. I said that I am sure that they can check the top up has been done and activate the data option.
Instead of emphasizing or apologizing (as the mistake was from their side) she told me that her colleagues are only humans not machine and therefore take time. This is not the best attitude and people like this one should not deal with customers, People like this lady should have another training or change job.

I would give zero star but there is not such an option! I recommend you not to make business with them! Especially not if you do not speak good German. Very unfair company.

Just because there is no option for zero stars.

Customer service non existent. They simply kindly answer the phone but cannot resolve anything.

Payments get lost because they cannot match them to your Congstar account and then they withdraw the amount twice from your account. You ask for a reconciliation, they agree but never get back to you, despite your follow ups.

SIM card had to be sent 3 times, because they couldn't send it to the right address (on the 3rd attempt they made it, even though the address was exactly the same as in the first 2 attempts).

Simply avoid.

one of the worst service providers. For a simple cancellation, I had to run from pillar to post. I went to retail, they refused to cancel. I called customer service, they could not even understand a word of English. I wrote to customer service. They asked me to go to retail!
They seem to be a bunch of useless customer service who cannot help with simple cancellation! I am paying monthly bill without using. They are thieves

I almost never experienced such a bad customer service.
The reception is bad and the price per minute super high so I decided to change…. after 1 month I am still on it. They charged you 25鈧?and of course you cannot just pay for the 25鈧? you have to charge 30鈧?but I had (who knows why) additional 10鈧?fees.
I am still struggling with the customer service. The 10鈧?are gone and I still don't have the transfer of the telephone number on my new card.

Had bought a Wlan-Stick to notice after installation, that this is not working with my operation system on laptop. Nothing was remarked on the homepage about that. Customer-Service recommended by email return with money-back guarantee. In general very slow message reply. So the product was sendet back in time, contract were quitted also in time too – all weeks ago without any further reaction until now. No messages for informations nor refund, after all; incredible bad behaviors and customer service with no money back. I CANT RECOMMEND CONGSTAR WITHIN THIS EXPERIENCIES!

– Hidden costs.
The named prices are without V.A.Tax .
By a 16 Euro contact, you will end up paying almost 20 Euro.
– It's no 4G (LTE) inclusive. You have to pay 5 EUR more to get it.
+ The app is easy to use and has the most information and services you need.
+ You can have 1-month rolling contract

Conclusion:
The 16 Euro contract was already a special company's offer.
Without I would end up paying 30 Euro for 3GB and LTE.
If you ask me the network ain't that good as Telekom Network neither. I had the both and the difference is mentionable.
It's may be good for short time travellers but for others it is easier to find a better deal in Germany

The mobile internet provider with the worst customer service in my opinion. Getting a replacement sim card was a real hussle for example. I cancelled my subscription meanwhile.

Got bill shocked when I found they were taking 1,49 / min for calls to the USA. Website has either no or very difficult-to-find information about default prices for foreign calls, only prices for EU countries.

Generic copy/pasted answers to contact requests.

Coverage is OK for Germany.

I am a visitor from Canada. I bought Congstar at a gas station and had
just a bad experience. Data super slow or failing. Registration complicated. Support centre not knowledgable. A company like that would not survive where I come from. I dumped the card and went with Vodaphone – no problem!

Lairs to many issues with THE order no one can help you FROM THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE . and do not expect your order to arrive before 2 or 3 weeks .. Do not recommend at all . STAY AWAY

Ich warte schon mehr als ein Monat und habe immer noch kein Internet. Erstens musste ich auf den Techniker mehr als zwei Wochen warten, dann haben sie mir einen defekten Router geschickt. Aber man kann sich nicht verbinden, sogar wenn man einen anderen Router verwendet, weil man congstar als Anbieter gar nicht in der FritzBoxeinstellungen w盲hlen kann! Und ich warte immer noch auf einen anderen Techniker…Die Leute in Kundendienst k枚nnen kein English sprechen, sind unfassbar inkompetent, und manche sind sogar frech und unh枚flich!!!

I am waiting for more than a month and still don't have any Inetrnet. Firstly, I had to wait for the technician for more than two weeks, then congstar sent me a defective router. But one cannot connect even when another router is used, since congstar cannot be selected as provider in the Fritzboxsettings! And I am still waiting for the other technician…The people at customer service do not speak English, are incredibly incompetent, and some of them are even impudent and rude!!!

This is no doubt the worst service provider of all in Germany. They do not have a good customer support over phone, their response is very slow. And when it comes to the number portability, their support is really really the worst. This is already more than 40 days since I have requested for number portability, and still it is not done. Whenever my new service provider request for the number portability, the request is rejected even though there was enough credit in my account. This is the worst service provider ever!!!

Wer mit Betr眉gern Gesch盲fte machen will, ist mit Congstar super bedient.

Bei K眉ndigungen werden Guthaben nicht erstattet. Ein typischer Telekomableger. Mu脽 ich bei denen eigentlich ALLES 眉ber den Rechtsanwalt laufen lassen?
