These are people who were too lazy to start a real business, so have decided to become parasites off the prison-industrial complex. I submitted a Christmas payment to my incarcerated loved on, and the screen froze right as I was about to 'pay' and I received no payment confirmation, and no confirmation email, so I submitted the payment again, and received a confirmation. Then, I received another confirmation and found out I had paid twice. When I tried calling customer service, they were unsympathetic and said there was a "no-refund" policy, which I don't think should covers faulty website service that leads to accidental double-payment. All I wanted was the second payment refunded, not the first. To all who use this service, if you get a frozen screen when you try to pay, wait an hour to make sure it didn't go through before paying a second time. I tried disputing this with my bank as fraud, and my bank agreed that this was a fradulent double-payment and would try to remove it, but I don't think my bank was succesful. Just because this company serves prisoners doesn't mean it shouldn't have to follow to the guidelines of the law, but I guess in reality that's exactly what happens. Dealing with this company in the free-world, you have all the rights of an inmate by default. Thanks Connect Network GTL, for treating me like an inmate and taking double my money because you can!

You guys should consider this pandemic crisis going on and No visitations to our loved one behind bars. Its so expensive just to talk to them! Atleast do something to help families affected by this pandemic! And not being able to see them for a long time! This is a torture and abuse!

I authorized a $25 payment from Connect Network for an inmate with my debit card. They took the money out twice for the Pin Debit. I also authorized $25 + the required service charge for the trust fund for the same inmate. That went through fine. I called and asked for their mistake to be corrected. They told me no. What recourse do I have? They tell me none.

This is the most stupid and unprofessional system ever to find inmates and access their money! This place should be taken out of all prisons and bails and rid of! I have no clue why the prison system would hire these imbeciles

I am 84, a veteran, ill stroke, cmt, melanoma again for notice money taken for an inmate. I NEVER DID. And reported them before and was promised not done again, Also, hard hearing.email best Again this is fraud and stolen money.

I put money on my inmates account but he was never able to use it. I've sent emails for months trying to get my money back with no response. Every time I call the person can barely speak English and say they don't even see the transaction on their end. How can you verify my information and everything else but not money linked to the account.

These people are over charging innocent people that have to shovel to communicate with their loved ones. It is absolutely criminal for them to limit the amount of time we can talk to our friends and family. And where does the money go that they make? It surely dont go to paying any kind of customer service, they dont answer, and the app is total garbage. More people need to speak up about this. They are taking advantage of your mother, your grandmother, sons and daughters. They are some sick $#*!s

I have called numerous times trying to get a $15.00 refund because my son was incarcerated for 4 days. I put $25.00 on the phone log minus the $6.79 fee for using their service. When I called the toll free number given it indicated I had $22.00 left. I have called over and over again and unable to get my refund. They had no problem taking the money but obvious it's a big deal to get refunded. Pray that I never have to use their service again. They are foreign speaking rip off artist.

I have contacted this company several times to address my messages never making it to my loved one which I feel is the officers fault as well as Connect network. How can they set up a policy that allows the guards to take however long to deliver the messages. Ive actually tested it and had messages one through 4. I never received 1 through 3 only 4. Either our messages never arrive,, or they are so out of order you can't even respond properly. I have also scheduled 13 visits and the guards leave me waiting for 40 minutes and then cancel my visit. Reevely is the supervisor of illinois river correctional center communications at the Facility and he sends messages as he gets ready.

This "company" is a fraud! They took $50 out of my inmates account for no reason. I called numerous times and when I did get a hold of someone they would either transfer me and it would disconnect or if I did speak to someone they would never give me a direct reason this happened. They said it wasn't their department. This place should be shut down. Regardless of what you do I guarantee you will never see the money returned. If you read the reviews there's probably 80% of people who will agree with me. I also contacted the BBB . SCAMMERS

I am so fed up with this company! Besides the fact that you have to pay to fee to send money, pay a fee to msg, they charge you for a visit that drives you f*****g crazy! My husband can hardly ever hear me, resolution is terrible! I sent a complaint and it took 4 months to get a reply of oh sorry.
The emails can take days to get to him!
Why can't we get a choice of providers?
Customer service doesn't give a f**k and will hang up. This is ridiculousl!

You guys do not deserve a start , this company is only stealing money from people , it's not okay, when you finally get customer service they don't speak english, since they don't speak English they hang up on you , I just hope that someone do some thing to shut them down I'm out $200 and my brothers hasent got any use to it, sadly this company are thief's and steeling from everybody, I'm very dissatisfied .

Can't get resolution to update phone number ownership. My numerous emails have gone unanswered…going on 60 days now!! Their system shows my new prepaid phone number belonged to someone prior. I can't post funds (that somehow is negative??) and my juvenile son can't call me on my phone number. I sent proof of my phone number and even screen shots of my info from their website connectnetwork.com showing my phone number and other profile info. I had another number that has a $30 balance that they won't transfer to my new number. I have sent them proof of both phone numbers!! No response. I feel like this inmate phone company is a scam! I am frustrated there is nowhere to turn for help. This company is profiting off inmate families and they do not care about resolving any phone issues. They will keep your money and not respond. It does not help that the customer service reps are mostly poor speakers of English as a second language. The websites I sent emails were at both [email protected] and [email protected] I am angry that they are getting away with ripping people off!!!!

My card got declined when there was more than enough money on there. I tried other cards but they were declined as well. I called my bank and they said it's the facility rejecting the payment. Then they put a block on my account because it's says there was fraudulent activity on my account which is bull because they declined my payment. It's nuts. I've called so many times and no One can help me out. Saying I need to wait 3-10 business days before this can be resolved. That is absolutely absurd. I can't talk, message or add funds to my loved one because of a glitch in their system??? This is insane an I think this is the worst company because they have no sense of customer service. Right now with everything going on you would think they would be trying to be more sympathetic but they are not.

I spoke to a lady on the phone was very rude , not able to help me process a payment , I called customer service ,cause I couldn't get the website to work .
Very frustrating after she hung up on me I am not very happy or impressed.

It took hours to navigate their website to try to put monies so I could text a family member. I did it by phone, but the money never was credited. I was about to do it finally through the website. I send to emails and had no indication they went through. Before I had any money in the account my family member knew I had opened an account because they sent a message. If my website ran like this I web be out of business. I only sent $20 so the loss is not as bad as I read in the other reviews. I will be contacting my credit card for a refund.
