I have ordered every year for last 4 years form this company. Last year, they delivered the glow sticks after my event, via regular shipping even though I paid for upgraded shipping. I had to call them 6 times to get the return approved. I returned the glow sticks, but they tried to charge me a restocking fee even though it was their error. This year, I ordered the glow sticks a week ago. No one contacted me to say they were out of stock until today (the day before they were supposed to be delivered). The offered to send other glow sticks, but they would arrive late. The company had the option to send them via overnight but wanted to charge me over $200 in shipping costs. They refused to Comp the shipping, even though it was their error. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is HORRIBLE.

I bought a can of spray paint from Cool Glow based on a video that accompanied the product information on the web page. The video made it appear that this is black light paint, but it is not. I explained this in detail to the company, but Cool Glow refused to refund my money. I would never use this company again.

DO NOT do business with Coolglow. I ordered a dozen light-up lanyards with light up sticks for a very special series of concerts with friends. They arrived in cellophane, battery tabs in place- all seemed good. The event arrived and at the first concert I had six with me. ALL of them turned out to have batteries in the sticks that had leaked battery acid and we could not use them at the show. Back at the hotel we tried changing the batteries and all but one of them had stripped screws so you could not change the batteries. FAIL. Even worse, when I contacted them they said it had been more than 30 days so no refund or exchange. Why would I have expected anything but good products when they were in cellophane and battery tabs were in place. BAD VENDOR!

had 1 question, shipping times for my location , had a hard time understanding her, first it sounded like her mouth piece was caught on a shirt and static, then got clear relay but the dialect or accent I just could not understand with out her speaking slowly , gave zip code, she got it wrong, then she wanted city, gave it and state, and zip again, (all business I work with have a link to fed x ups and usps to get ship times, but alas they did not , or she did not know how to find it, 8 min later I found the place I originaly was looking for GLOWORKS.COM got them 5 min later ordered and done much cheeper price also and quick shipping out the door tonight 1 hr before closing time! go to gloworks.com instead of coolglo you will be very happy

I wanted to buy something from this company. I signed up to receive their emails and newsletters. One offer was free shipping at $39.99 another was free shipping and 10% off. Neither worked. The on line chat didn't even connect. I placed a call and got a lady on the phone who told me if one item in my cart was on sale I didn't qualify for free shipping. Nothing in anything they sent me indicated sale items not included. They wanted to charge $25.00 shipping (to Ohio) for a $68.00 order. I will look elsewhere.

Per Cool Glow Amazon listing "BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! They will not refund my purchase cost as the product is garbage like the glow in the pigment powder I purchased 2 small bags on April 28, 2017, a cost of $14.80 .of their Glow in the dark powder from there Amazon selling page and they wrote, "100% NO FUSS MONEY-BACK SATISFACTION GUARANTEE on our Glow In The Dark Pigment. In the unlikely event something disappoints you, we will willingly return your purchase price or arrange for a replacement set to be sent immediately without hassle. You have NOTHING TO LOSE. They will not refund my purchase after I contacted them on Amazon and will not back what they wrote. So a very dishonest and false advertising policy!

They do not honor their own coupons. I was on their website and had items in my cart and a coupon pops up stating that if I checked out this same visit I would get 10% off. But it would not let me put it in my cart. I tried to call the company and they were closed. Called today and spent about 40 minutes and got nowhere. I even took a picture of what popped up.

I ordered LED finger lights for a glow in the dark egg hunt. My order total was $131.25. A few days later I received a call from one of their representatives. I was asked about the number of lights I had ordered (6000) and was asked what they were for. She then told me there was a glitch in the system and she couldn't run our card. She said she would call back in a few hours when the glitch was fixed. She called back to tell me that she confirmed my order, but we might save even more if we purchased them from them "wholesale". She would have to transfer me to another representative. I really didn't have the time. she told me that my order would be over $1000! She said that there was a price glitch in the system when I ordered them. I have my receipt that I printed out when I ordered it…. but they won't honor it. It sounds to me like a bait and switch. I told the lady it just sounded scammy and to cancel the order. I was then sent an email that stated that they tried on numerous occasions to confirm the order by phone and email but couldn't do so. Therefore my order was being cancelled. Stay away from this place….it reeks of a scam.

I bought paint and powder for a school event and was told that it would stay charged for 24 hours all I had to do was charge for 15 mins in the light. Unfortunately it did not stay charged. The paint also was not water soluble like it says it is. I called customer service and she was so rude and uncaring.

NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!! WASTE OF MONEY !!

Shipped Defective Glow Sticks, Wouldn't Issue Refund

I placed an order for glow sticks for a Halloween party and was very disappointed when the party started and they wouldn't light up. Cool Glow refused to issue a refund- their proposed compensation was 10% off my next order, but I clearly will never order from them again! There is no recourse for the customer when party products do not work, you can not go back in time and give us products that work.

On top of that, the representative and manager were both rude to me on the phone. The whole experience was very angering and frustrating.

I ordered a costume online from their website for my 5 year old son. It arrived the week before halloween. We recieved the costume to the character we wanted, BUT the costume was not the same hat or color as the one the website shown online. I had called and complained and they offered for me to send the costume back for a refund. Then I had told them I did not wish to send the costume back, but I don't feel I should have to pay the full 50$ price for their mistake. They told me I would get a refund of a percentage for the costume. I NEVER GOT IT. So I called back and Bianca asked for photos of the costume to compare. I sent and she sent me the label to send the costume back. This company is PATHETIC at reasoning with the customers satisfaction. I would not recommend ANYBODY to order from this website.

I called and ordered rocks glasses for our company. They took my order, then 5 days later called to say they didn't have them and tried to push item we didn't want. They contacted me later saying they would indeed have this item and would not only guarantee them for a 9/9 arrival, but would pay the extra shipping charge. On 9/4 I had a VM saying to call them. Called back on 9/8 when I got in the office and was told the items were stuck in customs and would not be here for 9/9 and once again tried to push items we weren't interested in. Still not convinced this was intentional.

I ordered 1-set of glow in the dark paints, but when I went to check out I was charged for 2. I immediately called and left a message and then emailed the company to explain that I did not want 2-sets of the paints, just one. The response a few days later was simply "too late, we've already mailed them both sets out." I again explained that I had not ordered 2-sets and asked how they'd like to handle the situation. Ten days later they said I could send the second set back and they'd charge me a restocking fee. I again explained what had happened and that a restocking fee seemed out of line. Finally they agreed to waive the restocking fee, but I'm left with the return shipping cost for an item I never ordered. I have no confidence whatever at this point that even if I pay to return the item they mistakenly sent me that I'll receive a credit on my card. I've never experienced anything like this before. Don't waste your time with these guys–either they just don't care or they're crooks.

Coolglow charged my credit card but never shipped my order. When I called customer service I was told they were going through a system upgrade which was causing some problems. Ok, that's understandable, but then the rep proceeds to tell me that if they ship my order today, I won't get it for another 5 days which is too late for the party I was ordering them for (I ordered them in plenty of time). So she had to cancel my order because they would not ship them to me overnight – said I had to "meet them halfway" to pay for overnight shipping. I was like, "Uh it's your mistake, so that's unacceptable." I was given an apology and a full refund, but I'm still upset. My daughter was counting on having those items at her party. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered $500 worth of merchandise that came in horrible quality. Decided to return everything and only got $143 back from the company for restocking fee and I had to pay $50 to ship the item back. Your company should be ashamed. This is not how successful business works in the day of the internet. You will get what is coming to you.

I placed an order March 26 and supposedly it would be delivered April 1..i received an email saying that they were out of stock of bracelets and that they only had 3 sets of luau stamps..I replaced the bracelets with erasers and they told me my shipment was being send out that that, which was April 1. I received another email today April 3 saying they were out of stock of the stamps. I called and spoke to a representative and to a supervisor named Trejon. Neither one of them seemed to care about my complaints which were reasonable. I wanted them to send my shipment so that it arrived Monday April 6 and they said they were unable to since I didn't pay rush shipping. They didn't care about the concept that I had received two emails and that I was suppose to received my shipment on the 1st of April. I cancelled my order and that was that. I told the supervisor I would write a bad review for this and that I would never order from them again and her answer was, "Go ahead if that makes you happy." No other company does this. I have always order from Shingdinz, Oriental Trading, Birthday Direct and Birthday Express and these things don't happen with them. They are reliable and professional. My suggestion….don't order from Cool Glow….They suck and so does their employees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buyer beware!! Not a fair and honest seller…even to return customers!! I ordered some 'Glow Eye Glasses" that you put together, but they wouldn't stay put together…as soon as you put them on, they fell apart. I opened one pair to try [6 pairs come in a bag]. I ordered 20 bags. I called to exchange them for another more expensive style. They told me that because I opened one, I had to keep the remaining 5! Then I was told that I would be charged an additional 15% restocking fee and shipping cost…even though I was willing to buy another style of Eye Glasses. It amazes me how businesses like this stay in business. Do yourself a favor…SHOP ELSEWHERE!!

Buyer beware. I ordered PInk uv contacts. According to the picture they're hot pink with or without UV light. What I received today is a very pale rose pink contact. When I called to complain and returned them I was told told that the pictures are inhanced and I agreed to that in the terms and conditions. I would have to pay for shipping and a %15 restocking fee. How about just selling what you advertise?

I ordered a product from CoolGlow, but never received an email with confirmation or tracking information.I called the company thereafter to get the information and they told me that the product had been marked "Insufficient Address" and was being returned to them.

We checked to find that the address was indeed correct, but for some reason the Post office had made a mistake. I called back to ask what my options were and they advised me that the only option was to accept a refund for the items and replace the order. They offered me a refund of the purchase price MINUS a $12.50 RESTOCKING FEE + ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST. My original order total was $47 and the company withheld nearly half of the total.

I paid $20.00 for products I will never receive.

Customer service was friendly, but not helpful.

I just so happened to already be speaking to the manager and no other options were offered.Try ordering from Uknowit for Halloween lenses and Party City for the rest of the cheap stuff they're sellling instead.

I placed an order and never received a confirmation email. Called the company to ask for tracking and they said the order had been marked by USPS as "insufficient address" I checked the address and it was correct. This was not their fault or mine, but the company offered only to refund the purchase price minus a $12.50 restocking fee and the original $8.00 shipping cost. I paid $20 for a product I will never receive at no fault of my own.

Customer service was kind but by no means helpful. I suspect it's a small department since I just so happened to be talking to the manager who offered me no solutions.

Don't buy. Try uknowit for Halloween contacts and Party City for the rest of the cheap stuff they're selling.

They are a great company! Ordered a pair of contacts (have before in the past and was very happy with my product) and though there was some shipping issues they were willing to work through them with me till we were able to get it right. Super friendly support (Kristin) and I can't wait to receive my contacts! Thank you so much for your time guys and your willingness to work it through with me.

They screwed up my halloween order. I ordered 50 or 60 green led necklaces. They sent me all white ones, when I tried to contact them, they basically said I had to pay for shipping again to ship back to them and then to ship back to be I was also told I had to pay a restocking fee, I know I ordered the right ones because the item number I bought was different then the ones I received. You are better off going to ebay or amazon if you still want to buy from them, they(amazon and ebay) will most likely back you up. Buyer beware.
