Hi All,
I've read all of your reviews, and I'm deeply disturbed about how the employees at this company have been operating, riled up even. From the research I've done, people have been complaining about this company since 2014! Last week I was caught by the same scam, but luckily I didn't handover my cash until I did some research. I've worked as a lawyer and I'm going to seriously look into seeing what is required to get something done about this company. Please email me at [email protected] com if you've been scammed. Thank you.

Don't do it! If I could give minus 5 stars (-5) I would. They never stop harassing you, just as every reviewer has said below. I have paid nearly $2000.00 and I am still getting harassed. The sales techniques are all the same starting with very friendly person saying could you help the Police, Ambulance, Street smart or Children with disabilities etc. Being a proud Aussie, we all want to do our bit and they know it. You later get a call saying you agreed to something else (that you didn't) 3-6 months prior and your advert is now ready for approval. If you disagree they start getting very aggressive with one woman abusing, than hanging up on me. This is one big scam and they pick on people starting off in business. I have asked to be taken off their calling list to no avail. This has been going on for nearly 12 months now with the latest call today. Shame on you Countrywide Austral and your sales marketing staff!

This company misleads you. Their relentless. They have no higher purpose. They have no values. I got a call early this year, the caller was very nice, very well spoken gentlemen. He asked me a lot of questions about my business, what I do, etc. He said that profits would go to charities or sponsors related to teens and their mental health. He said it would be in the StreetSmart handbook for June. He said he'd send me an email that I'd have to reply 'I agree' and he'd send the ad proof. I agreed. And I agreed because I thought it was going toward a good cause. (This was only 2 weeks having my fb business online.) I was thinking that it was a good sign to get an ad. But then. I did my research. And the first thing that pop up are complaints, scams, facebook pages for people who have been unfairly treated. A few people that I've messaged that have been in a dispute with this company and their debt collecting agency for over a year! Ads not even getting into any of their handbooks. People telling me to ignore them, don't give them a cent. Which I'm glad I haven't. When I recieved the invoice again in the mail after having told them I don't want to use their ad service anymore. I was treated like a child. Unprofessional and did not care about your circumstances. Even during covid. I told them I don't have an operating business. I told them I don't even have an ABN set up. I told them I want to cancel this service the ad doesn't get printed until June. The woman employee did not care. Showed no remorse. Actually was angrier every time I told her I cannot pay you. The I agree email is basically a lock in contract to them but it has NO legal requirement for you to pay them. They've called me on different numbers and have for a lot of people. I don't know how they've managed to have a company after 20 years?! Its caused me a lot of stress and anxiety to actually answer my phone or email them. My business is no longer operating. Best thing to do is report them to ACCC and scamwatch. Write them an email saying that you do not want their ad service and block all their numbers.

This is a long review, I can't believe their getting away with this and can hound people for a few hundred dollars and even more. You can literally make your own ads on fb for $7!!! Huge mistake saying yes to them. Their greedy and they know it.

Has anyone had success in reclaiming their cash ….i was pushed hard to agree….and i mean pressured and couldn鈥檛 escape the arrangement and then after the call couldn鈥檛 get through to anyone to discuss cancelling, and felt obliged to buy …only being able to afford their lowest their of adds which was hundreds of dollars….as it was the Police asking….yes…. I鈥檇 have said no to anyone else….they implied they were fundraising and actual police….so i quickly agreed….to an ad thinking it was distributed NSW wide in print…to the police force in offices….i don鈥檛 even know how they got my number….i presumed that as I鈥檓 in the middle of a nasty court case i was on some police list….which made me also very pressured to say yes…I couldn鈥檛 get through afterwards to cancel….and they started sending very serious debit collection notices, and soon as i paid …half as i could only barely afford to in the current coronavirus pandemic finding my self unemployed….i went with out paying household bills to…they sent me a email with a bodgy add for my business…and then started to harass me relentlessly for the remainder of their money …it was a cut n paste in a email photoshopped digital pamphlet that could well have been and likely just sent ….to me …or the other few convinced to pay the hundreds of dollars to join the pages inserted in the pages…..i am so broke as a result of having to get them off my back …due to the pandemics effect on my business….but was genuinely worried bout the implications of delaying payment…I鈥檓 now concerned that an in house employee is scamming people and has hunted facebook….for new naive small business to pressure into paying ad funds to their personal account impersonating the police…and has utilised countrywides sales model and material to produce counterfeit digital pamphlets….with bodged up inserted ad pages to con small businesses..using all the debit collecting facilities of countrywide austral to threaten people and the sad thing is it would be incredibly simple to do so……dose anyone else have the same suspicion….now if I鈥檓 wrong…then I鈥檓 wrong….but there鈥檚 a lot of people feeling the same…and I believe this is going to impact a lot of others in my same situation and need to do something to find out if I鈥檝e been scammed….

Biggest scammer with a 'debt collection' company called Black Collect with no debt collection licence pestering for money for 'advertisement' I have never asked for. No proof to sign off on, no contract. They have about 20 different mobile numbers to pester people for money. I have asked local police,SES, fires if they support them. Much to my surprise..not, that the legit bodies have never heard or seen a cent from these theiving [email protected] DO not trust them and tell them to Farkoff.

SCAMMERS ~ Marketing scam, make you reply i agree to your details being so correct after inital call, then no other feedback proof or request for ad logo & design, they apparently" print your details in a very poor magazine for "streetsmart", there is no proof to confim the marketing, weeks later a surprise bill is sent just for $440 then debt collectors, call & tell them I said i didnt agree to the ad was never sent any proofs for an ad> when complained to ombidsman they finally sent a copy of the mag that they claim went to schools> ad is pathetic, no actual details for your logo or pics !! then they threaten legal action when you expalin you never wanted them to do an ad which as Im a local lawn mower man- is no use to me if the advertise NSW wide!!! SCAM SACAM DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS

I agreed to support 3 publications with this mob. I then received about 8 more calls regarding other publications saying "we've printed your ad in our magazine and you owe us $500" (or thereabouts). I felt compelled to pay as they assured me that I had agreed. This has cost me about $4000, and my business, being new, is not even breaking even. On top of that, I'm on a pension.
I'm appalled, and will NEVER agree to support organisations like this ever again. Wish I could get my money back 🙁
