Wow really strange reading bad feedback having decided that the service I received was so great it merited highly positive feedback so came to Trustpilot.
I ordered a 50m extension cable and everything was terrific – price, NO p&p (which for the price of the item was a huge surprise), communication re progress of the order and within 24 hrs it arrived. So I am sorry to read other people have not been so lucky but I can only give this company 10/10 and thanks.

Awful experience. Almost two weeks they can not send/ship my order. I as a customer did my responsibility in that sales contract – I paid in advance. They as seller should do their responsibilities: to send my order, providing a tracking for it. They got my payment and did not send my order – providing no info. I have to call begging/asking them for info…!? Unbelievable! Even "garage" online stores do it better.

Ordered a fan, which arrived on time but arrived very broken. I've been asked to package it up and that a courier will come to collect it – hasn't happened. I've raised a PayPal dispute to get my money back.
Avoid!

Sold a cheap knapsack sprayer by using the photo of a more expensive one. Agreed to refund monies and then failed on 3 occasions to collect. Finally collected and I'm still waiting a refund six weeks later.

Low quality products and lacking in customer service. I bought two products from CPC – one Spear & Jackson Anvil lopper (order code SI15683) and one tree pruner (order code SI15416 on their website)

The tree pruner turned out to be nothing like the picture – very cheap plastic head which broke almost immediately. It was green and not the one in the picture and not the 'carbon steel head'. The anvil loppers lasted a little longer but the anvil sheared off when cutting a hedge due to low quality metal.

I tried e-mail for the first item and got no response so had to claim via Paypal instead. They insisted on receiving the item back (despite putting in photographs) which meant I had to wait in for UPS twice and then wait for the refund. I did eventually get the money back, and they did get quicker at responding via Paypal, but there was no indication that they were actually checking their supply lines to ensure quality – I suspect the loppers were cheap knockoff.

Quite frankly, the hassle and the lack of apparent concern regarding their poor quality items mean that I will be going to Toolstation instead.

whilst ordering and delivery is not questionable as item was quickly despatched and received I do have some issues with the level of customer services.
Whilst emailing to find out why my product did not work (which was my error) I recieved a rather abrupt email back and wont use this company again

Needed a cranked aerial mast, found this at CPC, immediate despatch, by tracked (Excellent) courier, here next day. Superb service, excellent item/value.

I ordered 3 lithium batteries for a child's toy base on the stated size (31mm) but the batteries were 38mm – too big to fit in the toy. This would have earned just 1 star but the customer support was good and they immediately rectified the problem as best they could, so I have increased this to 3*.

Worst company i have ever dealt with. Thick as pig skin the lot of them and they have conned me out of 拢200. If i could strangle your director for a few minutes i may put it up to 2 stars. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

Unable (???) – rather unwilling! – to make minor amendments on the submitted Adobe design to compliment the selected business card options. We are talking about changing a line in the contact details or removing a specific title from the name-line.
Received in writing that company "only prints" what it gets provided and is not prepared to guide, share expertise or advise of best suitable card for given design. All I got was: "we can't do this and we don't do that". Instead of suggesting alternatives, as any good sales person would do, I was only ever told what is not possible! Wonder what the large button "FREE ARTWORK" means when a simple Adobe file text change is too much to handle!…gave up at that stage!

Rubbish; sent me the wrong stuff (prepaid obviously), never got back
to me to put things right, they closed my account and ignored any
contact with me. As I say, RUBBISH.
Pretty damn poor for a public company.

Really poor after sales service. Bahco tools are nothing special these days and the hinge on the box broke within a day or two from normal use. Got a standard reply and no follow-up after complaining about this, Two lessons learnt-1. Spend a little more and get a better tool kit than any of the new Bahco offerings 2. Avoid this company

1st time I have used this company. Bought item (fridge thermostat) that I no longer needed when new item delivered (very quickly, free postage). Return readily agreed and payment returned to my credit card promptly, and confirmed by letter shortly after. Excellent.

Ordered items on a friday for express delivery for a job on a tuesday .As i am out working from 8am till 7pm . I asked on the special delivery notes for the package to be left in a secure place .
I returned home monday night to a missed delivery note and that they would be back the next working day . The special delivery notes blatantly ignored . had a job that i needed the items for the next day .
I had to ask a favour of my brother to wait in and sign for me to then drive an hour from liverpool to manchester to deliver the parcel .
I opened the delivery to find one of the crucial items needed was missing . This was very frustrating for all the effort gone through to get me this allegedly simple order and delivery .
I rang the customer service to be told that its not their fault and that i should have been in to accept the order . I deceided to return the items as i cannot complete the job i have been contracted in to do . Now this is the kicker …… for me to return the items ….. i have to again wait in for someone to collect the items …… the customer service representative was very unapologetic and unhelpful in helping resolve the missing items ( apparently on back order ) . So if you want items delivered to your house that you pay for ….. they wont leave in a safe place directed by you ….. if you have to return an item ….. its your problem to take a day off work and wait in perhaos all day to wait for a courier to pick uo the items ……

I have used cpc for years and never had this problem before …. what happened ?

Be vary aware if you need items that they take the order and payment online for yet have not the stock .

A very unhappy customer . Sort out your courier and customer servies department .

I have used this company for over 15 years, I would say 99.9% of the time they get it right, and if there is a problem they correct it right away. My last order was a pair of replacement bass speakers for my 40 year old Pioneer system. They arrived within 2 days and again great product great service. 5 stars.

Submitted online order, company took full payment from my account then sent me an email saying they couldn't process my order without a phone number and that I should try to buy again using a phone number. They wanted me to attempt another payment of over 拢100 (I checked my bank account and The money was gone!).
I consulted a solicitor who told me it's illegal to take payment if orders need authorised before being accepted.
Their web customer service was rude and told me to go ahead and report them. This purchase was for a birthday gift the following week so it left me without the gift OR the cash to purchase it elsewhere.
I am now in process of going through small claims and have submitted complaints to advertising standards and trading standards.
Unprofessional and unscrupulous business.

Don't know why they sell appliances with non-UK plug to UK residents and ask them to return on own cost. Poor!

I have used CPC for many, many years. They are a company I would trust. Huge range of products with fantastic delivery. I noticed one reviewer stated they sell cheap products. Not true! CPC sell a very wide range of products and some are economy, some are top-notch.

I bought a foot pump from this company and then received an email telling me the item would be delivered in 3 months. I waited 3 months only to be told by email that the item had now been cancelled due to my debit card expiring. On phoning this companies customer service I was told that I would have to go online and re-order the product. On asking if I would have to wait another 3 months for delivery, the member of staff got very abrupt and said " didn't I just tell you it was in stock!!!!! " rude company, cheap and nasty products just like the staff..

your range is fab,post is good and prices good.Huge range = terrible online catalogue though! Still would recommend though-
