The facility I am at is OK; however, they prices they list for their units are misleading. When I arrived to start my rental they required that I purchase an insurance policy from them. The policy is $12 a month and covers only $2,000. They administrative fee for the policy is $10.

I don't know if this is an industry thing or not, Cubesmart manager says it is.

Great experience with Store Manager Antony Avella at Store 5923 in Lake Mary, Florida. This location was recently purchased from an independent owner. My Company has been at this location for many years, have two units and needed a third unit very quickly for an office move. Antony was very helpful and was able to provide this additional unit very near the other units and at a great rate. It was a simple and professional transaction. Easy to do business with!

Hello…after my rental was broken into twice in one week at another storage place I walked into CubeSmart in Antioch in tears! I initially reserved a unit online but after seeing it was too small, Monica Berg showed me a bigger one for $10 more a month! Monica was very empathetic to my needs and what I was going thru. She made the transition seamless. I am very happy that there are two security entrances to get into my space which made make me feel my items are safe. I highly recommend. Thank you Monica for putting me at ease.

Price starts low but if you don't keep an eye on your invoices, they will keep slowly increasing the rate. I have a unit with them for a year with the payment on autopay and just today realized that they kept increasing the rate. Will never use them again.

I initially signed up for the storage unit online, I made a reservation for a 10 x 15. Once I came to the location to look at the unit they told me that they did not have any 10 x 15鈥檚 available even though I had a reservation. They did however say that they had a 10 x 20 available, looking at the storage unit size I could tell it was not 20 feet long. I told the lady that there鈥檚 no way that this unit is 20 feet long she informed me that it is, I had to go and get a tape measure from my truck to show her that it was indeed 15 feet long. She told me that they would have to fix it in their computer and then I can come back the next day and reserve the unit, which I did. While setting up my account they try to force me into purchasing insurance from them, only after inquiring did I find I can use my homeowners insurance. I requested that my account be set up on auto pay, after one month I received a notice that my payment was still due. I called the location and the lady was apologetic and told me she would get the auto pay set up for me. After the second monthly payment was due I received a past due notice for the previous month, I called the location and the gentleman told me that they cannot set up auto pay over the phone and that the lady I spoke to the first time was misinformed. He then told me he can waive the late fee in a tone which was not so friendly as if I was the one who made the mistake. I ended up calling the corporate number to get the auto pay situation resolved, and by the way the gentleman who said he would waive the late fee never did that. I went ahead and paid it anyways, if it was not a burden to move all my things out of there I would have done so immediately I will never do business with this location ever again.

I rented a storage unit from Shawn at store #230-8930 E Hampden Ave. Denver CO. He is such a great guy!! He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He and Mary keep the place clean and in good order. I am extremely happy with this facility, and highly recommend it if you are looking for a good, clean, storage space with outstanding customer service. Thank you Shawn!!!!!

Tina and the staff at the CubeSmart on Oklahoma Avenue Milwaukee Wisconsin is awesome great customer service place is always neat and clean I get everything fixed right away when people hit the garage door she always has free coffee available for us and always there with a smile I'd recommend CubeSmart to everybody

What a fine , clean, well-maintained storage facility! I was particularly impressed with the kindness, courtesy, and professionalism of the gentleman -( I believe the man's name was Brad) at the Pine Island location .( 2607). The gentleman took the time to explain all of the particulars necessary to make our decision to use the facility as we transition into south Florida. I will definitely be back, and I will definitely recommend your fine company

From the first day I walked in I was not only greeted at the door, the woman also rembered my name from a reservation call… I so sorry I for got hers again, this woman is hands down the best customer service person I have ever done business with. So I was a customer at this place for 6 years, originally AAA storage. Paid my fee on March 5th, had an opportunity to move my stuff out March 7th. Checked out and the thanks I got for being a multi year customer was, we do not refund the rest of the month that I did not use. The guy at the counter was real nice about it, and checked but nope. That's the policy, read the whole contract I guess or wait to move out until the end of the month. Was very disappointed as I paid more for the climate controlled bin. Hopefully will never need them again, won't go back.

I rent a storage unit at the Lemay store in St Louis. General Manager Prudence Purvis,
is the best. I can not say enough good things about her. She is professional,helpful,
and above all, she is a very kind person. You good Folks at Cubesmart

I would give them less than a one star rating. Basically what happened was, I called to make my payment at 530, the lady took my credit card info and then after a brief moment said ok your payment went through. Now usually a business will tell you before charging you how much you owe or what they will be charging- not this place. She said ok it went through, I of course asked how much she charged me and it was $110 above my bill. I asked why and she said because my payment was not received by noon and the system does it automatically. Absolutely ridiculous!!! They will not refund my $110 and apparently they have done this to many customers without their knowledge. Protect yourself and rent from a different storage company.

I recently had the opportunity to rent a storage unit at 430 1st St, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Scott, the manager, was knowledgeable, attentive and provided excellent customer care.

I rented a unit at 1830 E. Irlo Bronson Hwy in Kissimmee, FL. The store managers name is Fernando Reyes. I have to say he has the best customer service skills I've ever seen. He was very friendly, went out of his way to help me out.He treated me like I knew him forever and we were best friends. I can't say enough about how great he is. If everyone treated people like he does, this world would defiantly be a great place. I came back in and he even helped me set up my online access information. Fernando is the best of the best. I would recommend anyone to this location. Thanks Fernando for making my really bad day a 100% better. Evelynann

We paid for a service 24/7 , when I entered the gate for my storage on my way out the gate did not open back again, I called the phone number online because no one was on duty, had to wait for over an hour to get the gate open back again , customer service was the worse I ever experienced,

Great experience. Always easy to access, always clean and the staff (Mary and Shane) respond quickly and courteously! Would recommend to others and will use again if I ever need another storage unit.

I was completely satisfied with my experience with CubeSmart…It was my first time renting a space from them…but I couldn't have asked for a better, more courteous and knowledgeable rep Sam Rodriguez…He answered all my questions and was very patient with me. I truly love when the customer's needs becomes is put first..

If there is a GOOD review here it is an employee! They are in the business to RIP YOU OFF or STEAL and SELL OFF your belongings! TRUST ME …they sponsored all those TV shows showing people how they can come buy all your possessions from them … this is why you see all these new storage places opening everywhere.

ONE – you will be forced to pay $12.00 per month minimum for $2000 of insurance when most people have thousands of dollars worth of stuff in the smallest room …it just a way to steal another $12.00. TWO they charge $35.00 per month in taxes – three if you are late they charge $25.00 per week!

I've had nothing but bad experiences from this company. The elevators are often broken. I was in a storage bldg late at night, my unit on the 2nd floor. I was trapped in the bldg for about a 1/2 hour, not able to find a staircase and not knowing the elevators were broken. If I didn't have someone waiting outside for me, I would have never heard someone yelling & banging on the only exit door, for me to find the exit to get out of the building. At least 3 times, within a months time, were the elevators down. I had to once carry HEAVY furniture up the stairs to the 2nd floor, just to get to my storage unit. With several people moving in at the same time, they do not have enough carts/dolleys, only 2, and one of them is broken. The 1st time I was late (rent due 25th), I was told that my GRACE period would end on the 6th. I said no problem, I will pay within the grace period. It was actually 6 days, so I have a $30 late fee. Ok fine, I agreed to pay the late fee (total $208) on 02/05. The very next day, I get an email invoice for $386. I am so done with this company. I will never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I鈥檝e ever had. I had been a loyal customer since December of 2016. I called in to have my payment date moved ahead to the end of the month instead of being due at the beginning. Instead of moving my payment date ahead they moved it back. When I went to pay my bill they told me that I owed an extra $147 and that my stuff is going to be auctioned off if I refuse to pay. Then manager Clarence didn鈥檛 care about the mistake and was only interested in collecting his fees. I explained to him that I had been there for 3 years as a loyal customer and this was obviously a mistake on their part. His words exactly were 鈥?We are a month to month rental facility and we don鈥檛 have loyal customers.鈥?鈥淵ou pay by the month with no contract and if you don鈥檛 pay we will have to auction off your belongings鈥? So this company doesn't want loyal customers. See loyalty to me is keeping a customer that鈥檚 not in a contract. This problem was supposed to be resolved by the previous manager who left there in October. He was very nice and pleasant to work with but left my account a mess, didn鈥檛 fix it, and no one cares. All Clarence the manager wanted their money and fees. I feel I was robbed out of my $147 so I moved out of this Cubesmart storage facility yesterday. I鈥檓 moving my stuff to a facility that will take my $200 a month rental fee and not try to manipulate my account with fees and charges. I鈥檓 44 years old and have never been treated so terrible. The new management is killing this facility. I鈥檓 very disappointed.

Today (1/11/2020) was a big day for me at CubeSmart. I officially moved out of my storage. When I asked Mr. Delgado, the manager of store site#0429 at Winter Park South, Florida how long I have been a customer at this site, he stated, "since 2016." Boy, where does time go! He stated that based on my record, I have been a customer in good standing and he thanked me. I would highly recommend this storage place to anyone who wants to feel safe with their belongings that are being watched by reliable folks like Mr. Delgado. They keep up with maintenance and cleanliness of the surroundings. A pleased and satisfied customer. Gloria
