I ordered sneakers that were presented at my door the next day – so far, so good. But I wasn鈥檛 home and got a notification from Postnl that they would be delivered elsewhere (at my request) the next work day. Then the trouble started: my sneakers – for which I鈥檇 already paid – got lost in a Postnl-depot for two weeks and were eventually returned to sender without explanation or contacting me. Not once did De Bijenkorf contact me about this, I always had to ask about it myself. Neither did they provide me with an explanation or solution when I contacted them myself – several times. Their final answer when I called them yet again was: 鈥榯he shoes were sold out鈥?which was obviously not true. I got a 15鈧?gift card as a compensation, but would鈥檝e rather received my shoes… Errors can happen but this is very bad after sales service. The only reason I鈥檓 giving two stars, not one, is I suspect it鈥檚 Postnl鈥檚 fault.
