From the beginning of our experience we were so happy with our choice and made to feel so at ease.
We went to the furniture mall at Bijlmer Arena and after a few shops we went into De Bommel and Branca was so welcoming straight away. She said explained that any item we want can be made to our requirements and if we need anything to let her know. After this we continued to other stores so that we could see what else was available but no shop or indeed sales assistant made us feel like we were welcome or valued so we went back to De Bommel because of Branca and also the furniture that we had seen was more to our taste.
She went through every step with us (in English) and the process was so pleasant and smooth.
That same evening, she contacted us immediately to inform of a mistake which we appreciated!
We had such a wonderful experience and now that our furniture is here our house feels more like a home.

Terrible customer service. 48 h before delivery I tried to change appointment and the customer service refused to help. Finally my son missed class to stay at home for the delivery. I will never ever buy anything else here

Very happy with the items we purchased. However, we did need to wait a long time for both the chairs (despite being told that they are on stock) and the sofa.
There were incidences of miscommunication, we were told that our sofa (ordered in Aug) will be delivered at the end of Oct, then was emailed to be informed that an additional 3 weeks of waiting is needed due to COVID.

But then, when the dining chairs were delivered mid-Oct, the sofa was delivered as well. Since it was so large, we needed to remove the front window to get it in, this was a major inconvenience.
Moreover, the delivery men did not wait for this to take place and therefore what we were promised and what we paid for 70EUR delivery and unpackaging and removal of package material… none of them happened, just the delivery. We had to unwrap and take an extra ride a dump to discard all the packaging material. Ok, service but really 70EUR for this…? I am not sure this was a good deal overall.

Moving homes and buying furniture is stressful but these guys made it so easy. Really amazing service from start to finish. In the store we received amazing help and advice, and then the guys that brought the delivery were so cheerful and helpful. They really took the time to set everything up properly and give advice on care for our furniture. Would recommend 100%! Thank you De Bommel! Everything was so great. :鈥?

We ordered a standard (not custom-made) coffee table from De Bommel. We were told it would take 6 months for the delivery. When we tried to cancel our order prior to delivery, we were told that we could not get our money back.

Here's where it gets particularly ridiculous: if you pick in store but order online, you CAN get your money back. If you order in store, you CANNOT get your money back. We were obviously also not told that there was no right to return the items when we bought the table.

I understand no right to return any items that are custom-made, but standard furniture for a premium price!? I will obviously not shop there again, and I will most definitely always order online from now on to get basic customer protection. Very short-sighted for brick-and-mortar stores to push customers online, but that's the Bommel strategy, apparently.

Terrible service. I had to pay an extra 250 euros for a lift because the delivery men wouldn鈥檛 try more than 1x to come down stairs with one piece of the couch. They were very rude, laughing at me when I suggested to turn the piece a different way because the previous tenants had the same couch and got it in/out without arranging a lift.

Will not be purchasing from this company again or recommending them to any friends/family.

Had a great experience buying our sofa, so much so we went back and also bought 6 of our dining chairs with De Bommel Meubelen.
The service was excellent, very informative and friendly and all in English. Our daughter fell asleep while we bought the sofa and the shop assistant kindly let us to just have her sleep on one of the display sofas. I would recommend them, great experience end to end.

Beautiful showroom with a lot of great options. We were helped by Walter when buying a sofa and dining table. He was extremely helpful and great overall. We will be back in the future for any additional furniture we need.

Very helpful staff at the shop, very nice products, and the on line system was very easy to use to change the delivery date. I received a call shortly before the delivery, which was on time. de Bommel does what it says it will do

In general we were satisfied with the personnel. We had a good experience with the order, delivery and assembly.
However they had to come twice after the items where assembled for different issues and we have just noticed a new issue.
They have an easy way to plan for assistance and they are very helpful, they come on time and do their job well, but I am a bit disappointed about the quality of some items, especially the chairs we ordered.

We ordered a large table and 6 chairs. The products are absolutely beautiful and extremely great quality. The service we experienced before and after the purchase was fantastic. We were not forced or pushed into any purchase but when asking questions the sales team was extremely knowledgable. The delivery was perfectly on time and installed professionally with very friendly service. I would highly recommend De Bommel Meubelen.

Happy with the product and services.

We've order a recliner couch before we were ready to set it up in the apartment, but we get the option to schedule the delivery when it work with our renovation plan.
Delivered in the final position and ready to use, all the packaging was taken out and we could just enjoy it.

The quality of it is as expected.

We don't had any challenges or surprises and I expect to get a good service in case something happen.
