Ordered 2 items on line of clinique. Clearly advertised bonus time and the bonus bag. Took screen shots.

On delivery Bonus products not received.

Emailed querying this to be told 'i have checked your order and i can see the free gift bag was not added to your order, upon further investigation i can see that the free gift is now out of stock. All free gifts are subject to availability.'

Poor poor service.

I made a complaint to customer service Debenhmas head office.
I was re directed to Guy Taylor manager of Telford branch who dealt with my problem efficiently and promptly resolving my problem.
Excellent customer service thank you Guy Taylor.

I needed a handbag delivered and didn't know where to find the right one on line. I went the Debenhams website as they have a large collection of bags. I spent quite a lot so it was really good to use a trusted company who never failed to deliver what I need. Thanks

I have always loved Debenhams, they have so much choice you can't fail to find what you are looking for and as we don't have a store locally shopping online makes it's so much easier… at least it used to!

Unfortunately their returns procedures are absolutely dreadful. For at least my last 5 orders I have had to chase up refunds and part refunds (sometimes they refund one item from a parcel but claim they haven't received the others… they were in the same parcel!!!) over a month after I have sent them back.

It takes them many days to reply to every email so a conversation takes forever and even then they don't always action the refunds they promise, resulting in more annoyingly slow emails!

Unfortunately I won't be shopping with them again.

Website was easy to use, free delivery on my large furniture items, delivery company called to confirm delivery (which was earlier than what was stated on the website). Constant communication by email, text beforehand detailing between what time it was going to be delivered, then a phonecall from the delivery personnel about 10 minutes before delivery saying they were coming. They came, carried it through to the right place, were very helpful and friendly. I then received an email confirming all was complete. Very satisfied.

I ordered a slow cooker as an engagement present. It was delivered to Worthing Store. When I got the package home the box was so badly damaged there were large holes and dents in it! As it was an electrical item and a present I had no option but to take it back to the store for a refund.
The staff member who served me did not even apologise and when I asked if she had anything to say, she stated it was not her problem it was their delivery company!
Debenhams are responsible for contracting to the delivery company and therefore responsible for the damage! I would NOT use them again!
