This is a further follow up to an earlier review I made of iWofly / Debodia International.

It has been over 6 months since they made an error on my flight booking. Their customer service team admitted their mistake and even stated they would refund my costs. Since then and as per other reviewers they have given me the runaround with no updates unless I chase them. Ive even contacted the airline directly who have said the agent has not been in touch regarding my booking.
Nothing but a useless bunch of scammers, I'm going to follow up with IATA to at least report the awful service they provide (although not sure they are even registered with IATA). Likewise with the Kayak looking engine where I found their offer
Please do not give them your hard earned cash!

I have a thread with them of over 50 e-mails with NO RESOLUTION until now. They GASLIGHT you and LIE. They provide conflicting information, they will take back what they previously told you. Even if your airline allows refunds, they won't allow the same. They will LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL your hard earned money. This is the WORST business I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. STAY AWAY!!!

Airline website clearly states cash refund without penalties is an option

1. Refund your ticket without penalties.
If your flight is not affected by cancellations or travel ban (from July 1, 2020 onwards), you can make voluntary changes to your flight following the new No-Worry Flight Fare Brand. This applies for tickets issued until September 15, 2020.

2 Refund 24 hours before the original flight to avoid no show fee.

After over 15 back and forth of emails, this is their latest response.

They made a mistake with cancelling my ticket, and won't issue me a refund. They cancelled the WRONG flight, asked for a credit account on my behalf, without my consent. And yet, I still haven't received any credit anyway!

I booked 2 separate flights on Iwofly in Dec 2019.
Flight A was cancelled by the airline due to covid, so I requested a refund to Iwofly on March 19th (this date is important). They confirmed they will process.

Flight B was cancelled by the airline due to covid (but I was not informed, more on that later). I emailed Iwofly on April 23rd to process the refund. They responded, saying that I already requested refund (!?). I clarified that I had not requested a refund for flight B, only flight A. They asked for the booking numbers because they were still confused.
On the same day, I contacted the airline through their chatbot. The chatbot said that my ticket was already cancelled due to no-payment. I had paid Iwofly, so something was definitely wrong. Curiously, I never received notice from the airline or Iwofly that my flight was cancelled due to covid. It seems that my ticket no longer existed (more on this later).
Iwofly ignored the screenshot I sent them about the cancelled ticket and responded that they will process the refund.

2 months later, June 4th, Iwofly tells me due to current airline rules, I am only eligible for airline credit or rebooking — and I had 7 days to respond. I know my consumer rights, I myself work in the tourism industry. I know that at the time of flight B cancellation, I was eligible for refund, and they cannot backdate policies. I responded the same day, asking them to check with airline again.

I suspected already that something was wrong due to my previous contact with the airline's chatbot. I contacted the airline again on the same day; airline said on March 20th (day after I requested refund for Flight A), someone had requested a credit account for this flight. It was not me, as I have an account with this airline and the account number was not mine. So the account number must have belonged to Iwofly.

Basically, Iwofly screwed up the flights, and cancelled the wrong ticket on March 20th. This explains why I never got notice that flight B was cancelled by the airline, and why my ticket didn't exist when I checked on April 23.

What if the flight wasn't canceled and I showed up to the airport?? I wouldn't have a valid ticket!

But I didn't tell Iwofly this yet — I had already asked them to check with the airline, and I was hoping they would do the right thing and correct their own mistake.

However, I was sorely disappointed. They did not respond, even though they gave ME a deadline of 7 days. So, I followed up with them today, a month later. I asked for an update.

Iwofly responded, saying that a credit voucher was already processed. How could it have been processed? They never responded to my email, how did they know I didn't want to rebook? Now it is clear that Iwofly does not intend to admit their mistake.

So, I gave all of this information with proof to Iwofly, that they made the mistake. The travel consultant 'Lauren' (I assume it's a fake name) responded with a few words that didn't even make sense. "Dear passenger, The airline company set up an account for the refund of vouchers." — how does this relate to my issue or my email at all?

Even when given the opportunity to admit their mistake themselves, even when confronted with proof they made the mistake, they just ignore or they respond with nonsense, hoping you will go away.

All of this, and they haven't even given me the airline voucher. If Iwofly REALLY denies that they made this mistake, then OK, give me the credit, but where is it? Why was it never given to me? Why did I never get a response?

I used Iwofly via Kayak.com to buy my ticket from Bangkok to Paris in March. Because of Covid-19 Kuwait Airways suspended all operation and promised refunds to those who had tickets. I reached out for Iwofly as an agent and was shocked that customer support was unaware of situation and that they communicated in a very poor English. However, after few back and forth emails they confirmed that refund request have sent. I emailed to chase this after a month and when two passed finally they confirmed that refund was successful. After 2 weeks since that confirmation I've got my money back to my account today. So this agent is not a scam, they are just Hong Kong small business with messy customer support. Be patient and carry on chasing them with polite emails and once they get refund from the airline they most likely to refund you.

I am facing same problem as other with IWofly. I bought a ticket from KUL to KTM, flight on 21/3/20. Flight was cancelled as I arrived at airport. Called the customer service number in Hongkong but was diverted to voicemail. Sending email and after few days they replied the flight was ON, just that I don't get to the plane. What An Idiot Company ! I forwarded the notice from airline's website mentioned flight was cancelled due to Covid. Later they telling the same story where airline still not refund to them and all the stupid reason. Keep chasing, then they said I didn't gave instructions for the refund, again stupid reasons. After that I purposely sent an email for the refund request again but no more replied after I've follow up for the refund since mid of last month. AUTHORIZED DEPARTMENT PLEASE TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THIS KIND OF CHEATING COMPANY.

I wish there is an option for rating 0 star.

I purchased two airline tickets from iwofly, and later I made a request for full refund due to COVID-19, the flight was cancelled by the airlines as well later.

After more than 60 days, I did not receive the refund. They said they have not yet received the refund from the airlines. I contacted the airlines, and they provided evidence that full refund was completed a couple of weeks ago.

I forwarded iWofly the evidence and requested them to deposit the full amount as soon as possible, but they still maintain that they have not yet received the refund from the airlines. There is no progress so far. Cassie Cheng is one the travel consultants I dealt with.

I was never successful to call their customer support phone, once connected I got the announcement the line is busy, please call back later, and they do not always reply to your email, their online chat is not one-on-one.

In addition to posting your review here, you can make your complaints to both Hongkong and Chinese Government agencies. The following are the links to make complaints:

This line is pretty good in handling issues like this, they will record your complaint and get back to you within 7 business days. Chinese government requires all airlines and booking agent make full ticket refund because of COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is a registered company engaging in fraudulent businesses, and eating customers' money, therefore companies like this needs to be reported and taken down.They have operations in Beijing, Chengdu, Hongkong and Madrid.

To summarize, avoid iWofly at all cost, spread the words, post your reviews in social media and tripadvisor and make complaints to Chinese government authorities in Beijing and Hong Kong.

My flight from KUL to KATH (1 APRIL 2020) has been canceled due to covid-19 lock down.

As I check from airline website, they stated:

And what iwofly replay me is:

I BOOKED FLIGHT TICKET FROM IWOFLY FROM IST-DME RETURN TRIP NON REFUNDABLE WITH ATLAS GLOBAL. AS YOU AWARE THAT THIS AIRLINES WAS BANKRUPT AND IWOFLY AS TRAVEL AGENT MUST REFUND ALL MY MONEY IN ACCORDANCE TO REGULATION. ITS BEEN OVER 4 MONTHS AND I HAVENT RECEIVED MY MONEY. THEY ALWAYS REPLIED MY EMAIL THAT YOUR REFUND WILL BE RECEIVED WITHIN 15 WORKING DAYS AND THE FACT THAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR MORE THAN 4 MONTHS.

THIS IS REALLY DISSAPOINTED I WOULD NEVER BOOK AGAIN WITH IWOFLY AND I WILL ESCALATE THIS MATTER TO HIGHER LEVEL.

BEWARE! THIS PROVIDER IS A SCAMMER. I have asked multiple times to reschedule my flight (because they said I can't cancel). They said they rescheduled it but NEVER GAVE ME AN E-TICKET. After MORE threads/complaints, they said THEY DID NOT HAVE A RECORD of rescheduling and proceeds to tell me they CANNOT give me a ticket because the flight has passed.

IWOFLY STOLE MY MONEY. PROVIDED ZERO ASSISTANCE. NEVER USE THEM.

I'm waiting for my refund from past two months and it has nothing to do with Covid 19 situation. My flight was rescheduled and iWofly asked me to go with the refund, yet I didn't receive any refund till date. Worst experience. I'm willing to escalate this further.

My flight was canceled due to Covid-19, I contacted iwofly service several times to reimburse me but they do not want to reimburse me, telling me that we have not received any information on this flight. Wait each time I raise, they try to scam me, the airline company has already sent a instructions refunds mail about the canceled flights. I will not sit idly by and I will complain about this unacceptable behavior.

My flight from Dubai to Beirut on 20th march was cancelled by MEA.
i bought this ticket by iwofly.com and immediately sended them e-mail with refund request.
but i hadn't received any answer. i sended it again – and the same.
i sended it today again and they answered me that I MISSED MY FLIGHT and now they can't to refund it.
i wrote them a lot of emails about situation that i HAVEN'T MISSED it, that it was CANCELLED by middle east airlines, but they still go on to fcuk my brains…
(they just offered me to refund the fee which is just 30% of full cost).
so… what should i do in this situation?

My flight was canceled and Iwofly confirmed that my refund was sent to my bank account. When I contacted Iwofly after 3 weeks asking "when did you sent the refund?" t"hey answered: be patience" we'll refund you one day.
They are thieves.

My sister booked a Manila to Osaka flight with them but wont give us a refund in lieu of the banning of air, water and land entry to and from Manila and the corona virus state in Japan. They dont have a proper policy for refund on corona virus affected countries. It is clear that flights are not allow to and from Manila but still they wont refund my sister's money.

Booked two different flights earlier today, Delhi to Jammu and Bhopal to Delhi. Liked the portals booking interface which is not at all cluttered and is very simple & fast. In the first instance received email for both the bookings separately with status as 'Ticketing'. But within 15 minutes received another two emails with status 'Confirmed' and PNR & Ticket numbers. I verified it with respective airlines websites and ticket provided are legitimate. Though I could not find the bookings with provided PNR number, but the provided Ticket numbers worked.

Unfortunately we also booked via iwofly and the price while booking seemed reasonable. Our flight was from Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia) to Singapore and was supposed to cost 70usd for 2 persons one-way. After booking we had been charged with almost 90usd, no idea why. As the other comments already pointed out, there is no confirmation or ticket which you receive. So we just checked in on the homepage of the airline. During the whole ticket process we had no chance to add any luggage, neither to figure out if there is any luggage included. As iwofly gives ticketclasses different names (we had the light option which is not existing in the airline we took) we wasn't able to find it out.
At the airport we had to pay extra 80usd for 10kg of luggage! We have been travelling with many agencies already but we never experienced such a thing! We hope there is an explanation for this and would appreciate a answer from the company.

What is even happening?
I booked and made a payment for a Delhi to Bangalore flight. There's no confirmation, nothing. My card got charged and their customer care is not replying.
My flight is supposed to be scheduled in a few days and I will undoubtedly take them to court for deficiency of service if my ticket does not come through.
Stay away from booking with them.

I have made the payment of 2478 . So once the payment is received by them the status of my booking was under ticketing
Now the status is showing cancelled and customer care is not replying to any message
Kindly speak to Iwofly company and refund me my money back
