Absolutely horrible terrible customer service and they will not pay you! Do not trust their reviews on their website, they filter them so only the 3,4 and 5 stars appear. I was never paid for my iPhone X that was is excellent condition. They gave me the run around about my phone and now say it is out of their 28 day window. They do not have a phone number or address listed on their site鈥?SCAM

I sold two iphone X to Decluttr, both of which were delivered to them on 11/19/2020. My Decluttr account only shows them receiving 1 of 2 phones, despite the proof of delivery from UPS showing "Kelsey" received each phone at Decluttr's loading dock. I emailed customer service on December 28, and received a reply yesterday, Jan. 4th, basically asking me to send the order number, which I had already done last week. So far, they have only paid for one of my two phones. Use Gazelle, much better customer service!

I sent them a used iPad Air 2. The device was in very good condition as I applied a screen protector and back cover when I owned it. However, they claimed that the screen was broken and would only offer me $25 instead of $125 for a used device in good condition. When the item was shipped back, I found that they replaced the good LCD panel of my iPad with a faulty one. I don't know if they stole other components either. Never ship your device to this scam shop. Even if you could get back your device, they will steal the valuable parts and make it a trash before sending back to you. Terrible business.

On 11/30/20 I purchased a Pixel 3 in pristine condition (order R597798826). The phone was shipped quickly, and I received it and activated it on 12/3. Immediately upon booting up the phone I noticed a small pixel burn at the bottom of the boot screen. The burn persisted during regular use of the phone as well as on the lock screen. Since I had bought a phone in "pristine" condition that had allegedly passed a 90-point inspection (including a screen pixel test), I was very disappointed by this. I continued to use the phone for 3 days to see if I could live with the burn. However, on 12/6 I decided to return it.

I was disappointed to find that Decluttr offered no option for talking with someone live (phone or chat) and that I had to submit a form to request a refund. After submitting a form I waited a day. Then I waited a 2nd day. But I still had not heard from a human. Finally, on the 3rd day I found an email address and sent an email. Still no response from a human. On the 4th day I sent another email. I also began reading reviews about Decluttr online and was a bit scared by what I read: plenty of allegations of Decluttr not responding to communication and\or damaging phones that had been sold to them. I began wondering: if their communication is this bad, what would happen if I tried to get them to honor their warranty? Finally, on 12/12 I finally heard from a human. To be fair, Jenny (the agent who responded) was polite, professional, and honored my request for a full refund. She also responded to subsequent replies quickly, issued my refund promptly upon receiving the phone I sent back.

My main reason for buying from Decluttr was their advertised 12 month warranty & 90-point phone check test to certify it as refurbished. However, my experience with receiving a phone that clearly hadn't been examined closely during their 90-point check process, coupled with taking nearly a week to respond to my requests left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. Until they offer better customer service that provides responses from humans within 24 hours, I will not buy from them again.

I was quoted $135 for my Google Pixel 3 online (order 1053032). I sent the phone and received an updated quote of $12 due to my phone having "software" issues. My phone worked just fine when I sent it. I requested my phone be sent back to me, which they did. Now my phone will not even turn on. I cannot charge it and there is not indication it is alive at all. Decluttr broke my phone and bamboozled me. I am not a happy camper.

The process worked exactly as described. Reviewed a quote based on my description, label for return and off it went. The received it in about 5 days per UPS. They acknowledged receipt and then told me they were reviewing my phone to see if it matched what I said. Within in a day the money of the price quoted was as in my PayPal account. I know others have noted differences here but that was not the case for me. This was so much easier than trading in through my carrier. I have a very good experience and got a fair price but more importantly this was so quick and easy! I'd recommend using them in the future.

I just purchased a refurbished "very good condition" iphone 11 from Decluttr.com. The cyber monday deals seemed good so I made the purchase despite not knowing much about the company. After purchasing, I read some horrendous reviews from angry sellers who never received payment for their phones, and how the company was impossible to get in touch with. This made me very worried, but my phone arrived within 4 days of purchasing despite the holiday rush. I was also concerned that I would not get an "unlocked" device, but I did, and I am very happy with my purchase thus far. I only hope that I am able to reach the company if I need to use my warrenty, since the 12-month warranty was a big selling point for me.

This site is only good for the games and dvds and books, the media option. Very easy to use with the bar code scanner and the immediate price they give you. The electronics like phones and tablets you are going to get the same thing anywhere else you go, they are always going to find something wrong or are going to send you a new offer once received. You'll find that anywhere. I really had good experience with the media, they paid for the shipping labels, and they paid me quick, the same week I sent it out, and they didn't change the price for any of the games. This is the 5th time I used them and have been happy with each one. So I would recommend only using them for games, dvds books and even cds. Very good experience with those.

Guys don't even try to have any business with them. I sent them phone in very good condition without scratches, like new. After, got email that button is not working and screen is cracked. They offer me $14 insted of &150. It is not big money, but could be worse. I can't reach tech support to find out why it is happen. Phone number isn't working. After all of it, I rejected my Oder. It already second week waiting for any respond or my working phone back. Don't even try guys, they getting your financial info too. Also, I assume they might remove working parts from the phone and send me broken. Any way please, be careful guys.

You will get $0 for your phone while they claimed they would pay $100+. Upon receiving my phone, they claim that the phone is not authentic or has a non-US specification… while I got this phone directly from Verizon. I got my iphone stolen, which I could've sold for at least $50 at other places. Please look for other places if you are willing to sell your product, because they will take it for free.

I sent my iPhone back well within the warranty period and they did not honor their promise. The phone was in pristine physical condition and developed an internal issue and they said it was damaged by us with zero explanation.

I went through the Declutter website and input the info on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The website offered me about $140 for the phone. They received it and claim they will be putting the phone through a vigorous check up. Today I received notice saying that the phone has "issues" and the revised offer price is $12.00… you read that right $12!
That is INSANE. I declined the offer and they say they will be mailing the phone back. I could sell it on Ebay and make more than that. What a con job! Stay away from these people.

This company said they would give me $102.00 for my Galaxy S8 so I charged the phone and sent it to them. I got an email saying the charging port was damaged and the would only give me $11.30. The charging port was not damaged and they did send the phone back and I was able to charge it–no problem. They also did not send back the charging cable and 2 charging adapters that I sent with the phone. The old saying "if it sounds to good to be true it probably is". I would never do business with a company like this.

I sent my DVD's and games in and never received payment, I have submitted all of my banking info and still have not received payment. They claim my account number was wrong and will not send the money until they get a bounce back from whatever account they originally sent payment to. We are going on 2 months now. I have requested them to send my products back. Waiting to hear.

They was going to give me four hundred for my note ten it took me two weeks to hear anything from them first of all so they send me a email saying my phone was blacklisted or stolen so I got Verizon on the sent them a copy of our conversation and they claim they will be returning my device shortly. I use to deal with them all the time but for all the lies and trying to make me look bad they are done!

I've sent in a MacBook Air, for which they've offered me a fair price. However, I caNNOT reach them to either accept or decline the offer. I've lost the password I used to set up my account and despite ENDLESS attempts to communicate with them, I can't reach a human being who comprehends the issue. They just keep sending me emails reminding me that I'm running out of time to accept or decline the offer 鈥?but I can't respond to those emails without my password. I'm very, very frustrated.

Sent in my Galaxy S10 plus unlocked, and quoted a very good price. I sent the device, took 2 days to acknowledge my order only to get an offer that was almost 50% less. The device was in great condition and the only reason that they are giving is "OTHER".

I tried a competitor of theirs and it turns out the lower price they offered matched that of their competitor.

Total bait and switch and certainly a scam. Beware.

Scam service! Was quoted $50 for an ipod with absolutley no cracks, scratches, or other damage. Once they received the product (which was extremely well packaged), they claimed the screen was cracked and the casing was coming apart, but provided no photo evidence. I even shared with them the photos I took of the product immediately before sending it. They reduced their offer down to $5. I declined the offer but they have cut off all contact since then. They have not sent back my ipod like they are contractually obligated to do, they refuse to respond to any message I send, and they have not sent any money. Their scam is simple. Quote you a reasonable offer, claim non-existing damage once it is received, send you a low ball offer, hoping you accept, or just outright keep the product for no payment if you decline and refuse to respond to any attempt to communicate. Stay away from this website.

I had seen all the positive reviews for Decluttr and I thought I should try them out. Bad move on my part, there were so many problems with one order.
-My order arrived later than your site, and rep, said I should expect it;
-I received a phone that was not able to work on the Sprint network, even though I ordered a phone from your site that was said to work on the Sprint network;
-My return had not been processed still today, 8/17/20, even though it had been confirmed that it was received by their rep and tracking on 8/10/20;
-On 8/14/20 I received email confirmation from the rep saying that the returns department 鈥榟ave now processed the refund in full鈥? It's 8/18/29 and My refund actually had not been issued to my credit card as was promised by the rep;
-Reps email replies not at all acknowledging this problem created an urgent situation. The reason I was buying a phone is because my last one was dying. Their lack of concern and urgency was very disappointing.
At this point I have had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I do not recommend this company to anyone.

On July 9 I sent my MS Surface in for the promised $60 payment. A few days later they claimed that it had camera damage and they would only pay me six dollars. The surface had hardly ever been used except as a desktop, so I don't believe that claim was correct. I asked for my Surface back, and after over a month I have still not received it. Not happy with them at all.

I sent in two iPhones expecting a payment of $685. I received an email saying that the payment was sent…. no payment has been received. I contacted customer service and they said there is nothing they can do, since the payment shows as sent. So I'm out two phones and $685. The customer service is terrible and no phone number to reach anyone for actual help

Paid $345 for a Samsung Galaxy S9. Worked for 1 email and 1 phone call… twice. Have tried multiple times to get a response through email. Their phone number doesn't work. Currently, I have it under PayPal review and plan to return the phone via insured certified mail. Only choose to purchase through declutter because of the 4 star BBB rating. Lousy company… save yourself a headache and buy elsewhere!!!!

This is not a business it's a scam. The customer support phone number is fake and when you call it states all circuits are busy regardless of the time you call. They stole one of my devices after saying it had a bad ESN I contacted the cell phone provider and the ESN was clean. They do not pay the next day as they claim. Please avoid this place at all cost. I have an email stating that they would return my device and it's been weeks no device. Now I'm am forced to file multiple complaints against them. I also believe that they are doing this because of racial reasons. Avoid or risk being scammed.

They offered $45 for my old phone. This was way more money than any other site would offer me. Once they had it, they offered me $9. They said it was not in the condition I claimed. I answered all of their questions honestly. They just knew that once they had it, they could offer me much less and I would probably take it. Really a bait and switch situation. They baited me and knew they would not give me $45 from the beginning.
Not an honest company.

An order was never delivered. I contacted Decluttr three times through their "customer service" system over a period of 2-3 weeks and they ignored them all.
