I've been with Degustabox since 2014 and had recently rejoined to bring me a treat during lockdown but they've gone down hill…

In 2014, the box contained exciting snacks and drinks and often something you could make a meal out of (such as pasta and a pesto sauce). Very useful and fun.

These days I find the products aren't something I'd ever desire… In my last box I had some pouches of jelly which went out of date the following day.

Once more, the products always leak and burst. I'm constantly having to clean up the other products. The last box had an oily dressing which went everywhere! All over the box, other products and my kitchen side… the compensation from Degusta? 拢3 off your next box! HELLO? My entire box and all of its contents got completely ruined! This is the month after a pot noodle style pot also burst everywhere.

Not fun.
So long Degustabox! I know there are better food boxes on the market so I'm off to enjoy those.

Signed up in May, they took the money from my account. Its now July. No boxes. Contacted customer service to be told they had a pop up when I subscribed to say they weren鈥檛 going to give me anything for several months if at all, which obviously I didn鈥檛 scroll and read the small print. Shocking company. Now having to battle to get money back. They are saying i will get a box in the future but unable yo tell me which month it will be as they have no capacity available for the foreseeable future. So assuming i dont get a refund i might get a box next year, or 2050.

I ordered and paid for a box in March but received nothing, I have however received email after email saying sorry we will send you a box next month. It is now the end of June and I have not had 1 box just another email saying sorry next month we promise.
I鈥檝e tried to get my money back but the telephone number given doesn鈥檛 connect, and the emails returned are generic copies. So 4 months on out of pocket and not delivery 馃槨

I signed up on 5th May. I knew at that stage that the May box was sold out but I was OK with that. Now here we are mid-June and there has been no communication at all. It's looking unlikely that I will get a June box either. I would accept that too in these exceptional times but some form of communication would be expected. I've paid them a fee and received nothing in return.

I have been a customer for nearly a year. I do like surprises so this box is perfect for me. I do like to open and discover what nice treats are in there for me to try that month. The price is average and quality varies depending on the month, and your taste. I definitely like some boxes more than others, but overall I am very satisfied. I tried new products and have been buying certain things since then. Nice!

We really enjoy our boxes and look forward to them as a family. It鈥檚 nice to have some new products and surprises, the odd item that we know we won鈥檛 use we donate to the food bank.

This company is an absolute disgrace! Took my Money in early April for their April box and when I didn鈥檛 receive it, I myself had to contact them, they couldn鈥檛 be bothered to or have the manners or decency to contact me. When I did contact them to ask where it was, I was told, they are 鈥楽orry they鈥檝e ran out of boxes, be assured you will receive the May box鈥?.. Not good Enough and no offer of a Refund either! Today I had to contact them again as I had concerns I had not received the May box, only to be told the EXACT Same thing.. exactly the same repeat cycle ! 鈥楽orry they鈥檝e ran out of boxes, be assured you will receive the June box鈥?NOT LIKELY. This company are very happy To TAKE YOUR MONEY but then do not send you anything in return. And don鈥檛 bother with the same old GENERIC reply Degusta, you are Not sorry else you wouldn鈥檛 have had the audacity to have done this to me TWICE and not offer me a REFUND either for that matter! I want my MONEY BACK!

I joined earlier in the month and there were no issues displayed on the website and they took my money 拢7.99. I was then told that the delivery would be made towards the end of the month, nothing has arrived. I've logged in and they have a message saying they had sold out this month. The site is unclear it looks like they scheduled to take another payment early next month. I've followed the process of the cancellation, but I still am 拢7.99 down, will this be refunded or will I receive a box in due course? Who Knows..

I wouldn't subscribe to something like this under normal circumstances because I would assume its not necessarily good value, however these are not normal circumstances so I took a chance.

I ordered the first box, hoping to get a treat or two and also something to look forward to and was pleasantly surprised on both counts. In amongst all the other items, I received flour and stock cubes which I was grateful for and some chocolate which raised our spirits. There were some other items which we would never normally have noticed / bought and would now buy based on having had the opportunity to try them.

The second box was a bit of a miss for me, but it ticked a lot of boxes for my husband, which, after sulking for a while, I supposed was still a success. We'll certainly keep the subscription going for the immediate future and provided there remains a good selection of new products, I dont see us cancelling any time soon.

I have had the subscription for a while and every month I look forward to receiving the box. I鈥檝e always received good quality products and new products to try. I received en email advising me that due to a high number of new subscribers I would not be receiving my April box despite having paid for it already.
I am a loyal long standing customer and have been so for many years, I understand that at the present time (covid 19) there is a pressure on companies however many businesses are prioritising current loyal customers orders before taking on new clients, obviously degustabox think differently.
I emailed the company and received a reply which was an insult, I was advised that I would be gettting 50 points added to my account (which is equal to half a box) alternatively I could apply for a refund for April鈥檚 box.
I was told that my mays box would be prioritised, something they should have done for their current customers in the first instance.
I was then advised that I could cancel my subscription.
Obviously if I am not receiving a box then the company shouldn鈥檛 have taken the money for it and should be refunding this payment immediately.
The paltry 50 points cannot even get you a box anyway, this should be awarded as a goodwill gesture.
This just shows the level of contempt the company have for loyal customers and their focus is purely aimed at obtaining new customers.
I am saddened and very angry about how I have been treated and warn future customers that at anytime even though they are taking your money, you may not necessarily receive anything.

One of my items was out of date and craftily had a sticker over it with a 3 month extended date, presumably so they don鈥檛 have to throw old stock away.
Absolute rubbish.

Thought it would be fun to sign up to this subscription box with the thoughtful intentions of passing on food and drinks to the needy. Unfortunately, the products aren鈥檛 really up to my individual standard(liked 2 of the products only) I tend to go for and I don鈥檛 think it would be worthy of a donation to the local food bank as I would only donate something I would consume, purchase and endorse(worthy healthy choices), myself(only fair).

Grateful that it was easy and simple enough to cancel easily hence the 3*. It鈥檚 definitely not a box for the health conscious family.

Loving the surpises I get every month. Sometimes it's a bit random and not the best. But, there is always something to look forward to trying. Also, they package the items very well.

Just had today's box and every single item is going to food bank because it is all about blessed health stuff,a Yorkie bar with apple oats and cinnamon fgs,rice cakes ,I am wasting my money and cannot wait to finish when I finally reach my 100 points for a free box,simply carrying on because I wasn't losing the points I had ,people do not waste your money
